Story
Hi, I’m Teddy  Professional snuggler. Part-time prancer. Full-time heart stealer. I’m a Yorkie–Poodle–Pomeranian blend of pure fluff and feelings. (My mama was a purebred Yorkie and my dad was a poodle/Pomeranian mix, so yes — I was destined to be fabulous.) My first owner loved me very much, but sadly passed away. I didn’t understand why everything changed… but then I met my foster mom, and now I’m pretty sure I’ve decided she’s my person. (She says she’s “just fostering,” but I say… we’ll see.)  My Personality I’m playful but gentle, the kind of boy who hops and prances instead of runs. I sometimes pause before approaching because I want to make very sure I’m invited — but ohhhh, once I am? I’m all in. When you pick me up, I completely melt. Like, full body relaxation. Bonus feature: soft kisses included. I prefer to be carried everywhere, as any refined gentleman should be. Social Skills Kids? Love them Dogs? Friends Cats? Also friends Puppy pads? Doing great Going outside on a schedule? Learning fast and very proud of myself I’m trying my very best.  The Fine Print (Important but Worth It) Being this cute does come with responsibilities: • I’ll need regular professional grooming every 4–6 weeks • I’ll likely need professional dental cleanings starting around age 5 – Little dogs like me are prone to tartar buildup – Expect $350–$500 per cleaning – Possibly yearly, then maybe twice a year as I get older • Pet insurance is strongly recommended — it’s affordable when I’m young and pays off big as I age Trust me… I’m worth the investment  My Wishlist I have simple needs: Unlimited clothing & accessories budget Crystal-engraved food & water bowls Custom embroidered harness A boujee stroller for our daily walks(because walking is fine, but strolling is a lifestyle) If you’re looking for a soft, loving, slightly fancy little soul who wants nothing more than to be held, adored, and carried into your forever — I’m your guy.   All of our animals reside in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their perfect match. If you are interested in meeting this animal, please complete an adoption application on our website: https://www.BestPawsRescue.com   Spay/Neuter PolicyAny animal that has not been spayed or neutered at the time of adoption will require a signed Spay/Neuter Agreement and a refundable $100 deposit (payable by check or electronic payment). The procedure must be completed within six (6) months of the adoption date. Once Best Paws Rescue receives acceptable proof of the spay/neuter procedure, the deposit will be refunded to the adopter.Failure to comply with the terms of the Spay/Neuter Agreement within the required six (6) months will result in forfeiture of the deposit. If the procedure is performed by one of Best Paws Rescue’s approved veterinary partners, the full cost of the spay/neuter is covered by the adoption fee. Ages and breeds are our best estimates, and we cannot make any guarantees. Most of our animals come from overcrowded shelters with limited resources. We do our best to evaluate each animal’s behavior and medical needs and place them into loving foster homes until they are ready to go home with you. Our organization is operated entirely by dedicated volunteers who give their time and love out of the goodness of their hearts. ##2652119##

Story
Hi, I’m Benny. CEO of Bedhead. Chief Prancer. Professional Heart-Melter. I look like I just rolled out of bed—because honestly, I probably did. My hair does whatever it wants, and that’s part of the brand. I’m fluffy, fun, and full of playful energy, but beneath the wild hair I’m a total cuddle bug. My Personality I’m the confident explorer of the group, though I still check in with my humans to make sure I’m doing things right. I hop instead of run, prance instead of walk, and approach life like everything might be fun—because it usually is. Pick me up and I’ll snuggle in… but don’t be surprised if I pop back up ready to play again in about 30 seconds. Social Butterfly (With Fluff) Kids? Yep Dogs? Love ’em Cats? Curious but polite Puppy pads? Getting the hang of it Outside potty schedule? Learning fast I’m smart, eager, and the perfect mix of busy and sweet. The Fine Print (Worth It, Promise) This fabulous coat doesn’t manage itself: Professional grooming every 4–6 weeks required Dental cleanings likely as I get older (small dogs = extra tartar), expect $350–$500 per cleaning Pet insurance strongly recommended—start young, thank yourself later I’m tiny, but delightfully high-maintenance. Benny’s Must-Haves A wardrobe for layering and statement pieces A groomer who understands “messy, but on purpose” A harness that says I woke up like this Being carried. Always. If you’re looking for a playful, slightly chaotic, endlessly lovable little shadow with a hairstyle that defies gravity and expectations… Benny’s your guy.   All of our animals reside in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their perfect match. Story
About Me: Name: Miracle Mars and Pop Rocks Poppy Breed (or best guess): Yorkie Mix and Chihuahua mix Approximate Age: 1 yr, 1 yr Gender: Male Approximate Weight: 8 lb, 7 lb Adoption Fee: $890 Requirements: Loving Family, Bonded Pair Why In Rescue:  Texas Transfer Profile:   Miracle Mars and Pop Rocks Poppy came to us from Texas after they were given up by their owners.  They are happy and playful dogs waiting for a loving family.  We don't get a history or background on the dogs, so are learning more about them everyday.  They have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated for Distemper/Parvo, Bordetella and Rabies, heartworm and tick tested and started on prevention, had a health exam, and microchipped.  If interested in adoption, the first step is filling out the pre-adoption application at http://www.bichonrescues.com/pre-adoption-form-dog  If link isn't clickable, please copy/paste or visit http://www.bichonrescues.com.  Please note, filling out inquiry forms on Petfinder or Adoptapet and/or their application forms does not constitute an application for one of our dogs.  Priority in responding to inquires and applications is always to the applications filled out on our website, time constraints limit the number of other inquires we can reply to. We do our best to evaluate the dogs while they are with us, but they sometimes act different in the shelter environment than they do in a home.  Many times we do not know the actual breed/mix or age of the dog, in that case we use our best guess as to breed and age.   We are located in Mukwonago, WI.  Adopters must come to us, we do not ship our dogs.  Please do not apply for a dog until you are ready to adopt.  Once an application is approved you will be notified by email to make an appointment to meet the dog.  All dogs are seen by appointment only. The adoption fee through Bichon and Little Buddies Rescue is $495 for most adults and up to $650 for puppies which includes Wi State Sales Tax.  Included in this fee is your new companion who will be spayed/neutered, have a current Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (as required by state law), current on age appropriate vaccinations, heartworm tested (if old enough) and started on preventative, microchipped, and given a general wormer.  Other medical needs will also have been taken care of, such as dentals and treating ear infections.  To assist you and your new pet in adjusting to life together, you may chose to take an 8 week age appropriate obedience training course at For Pet's Sake Dog Training in Mukwonago, WI for $100 (up to $260 value).  You may opt to take Puppy Kindergarten, Adult Beginners, or Small Dogs Big Hearts.  You must register for the class within 90 days of adoption for the reduced fee.  For more information on the classes visit www.forpetssake.cc  More important information: ***We are a Wisconsin based rescue and do not ship our pets.  If you are considering adoption you must be willing to drive to meet and adopt the pet, as well as bring the pet back to us if the adoption doesn't work.  We adopt primarily in WI and IL, but will consider applicants in MN, IA, and MI.*** ***Please do not set up an appointment to meet the animals until you are ready to take your pet home.  If the meeting results in a match, you can often take the dog/cat home the same day or within a couple days if the medical care hasn't been completed.  We are not able to hold pets for adopters beyond this time.  Thanks for understanding.*** ***While we hope all of our adoptions lead to permanent homes for the animals we place, sometimes things just don't work out.  We do have a 30 day trial period.  For the first 30 days, if you or Bichon and Little Buddies decide that the adoption isn't a good match for either the humans or the pet, the adoption fee will be refunded minus $100 within 30 days of the return of the dog.  Bichon and Little Buddies also requires adopters to return the pet to us at any time that they are unable or unwilling to care for the animal anymore.*** ***We do not show dogs without an appointment.  The first step in adoption is filling out the pre-adoption application at http://www.bichonrescues.com/pre-adoption-form-dog  Please do not call/email until AFTER you have filled out an application.*** Bichon and Little Buddies is a State Licensed Rescue # 268555-DS February 9, 2026, 7:38 pm

Story
I am delighted to share news about two 3-year-old Yorkie mix puppies, Milo and Toby, whom I received today from Jane Montague Klann Honer. Unfortunately, due to a family move, these sweet brothers were surrendered, despite their loving nature. The boys, who are bonded, require a new home with ample space and room in their hearts for both. They have received all necessary vaccinations and have been neutered. Upon intake, they were found to be heavily matted and were subsequently shaved; however, their Yorkshire Terrier-like coats will regrow beautifully. They are being fostered in Green Bay, Wisconsin. I am still learning about Milo and Toby but am more than happy to answer any questions. Apply to adopt at www.nbstr.org
