But in order to help me out of here to catch the ride to WI on May 1st and arrive on May 2nd, I need *both* a sponsor, and a WI foster home *or* a WI adopter! I have a place for now, but I can't stay here forever and I am worried. The rescue has put a hold on me to save my spot on the trip up north to WI, but now they need YOUR help to get me there - don't wait!!! Updated: 4/1/26 Dog Name: Ruby Sex: Female Estimated Breed: Yorkie Mix Approximate Age: 1 year Approximate Weight: 10-12 lbs Spay/Neuter Status: Spayed Description: Ruby and Rose were surrendered to our Tx rescue partners after their owner was unable to continue care for them. Sadly they were very matted and their coats had to be shaved, but now these girls are feeling much better. They are spunky, petite and sweet. They each deserve a family who will cherish them and treat them like the little princesses that they are. They will need regular grooming appointments every 4-6 weeks, we never went there girls to feel neglected again! Ruby is already crate trained! This sweet girl does well with kids and other dogs making her ready to fit right in to any family! Adoption Fee: $650We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433 ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time, we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program.
