He’s such a sweetheart and ready for a second chance!   Adoption Fee: $550We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time, we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. June 9, 2026, 8:16 am

Story
Meet Macie! Nickname: Mace of Base, Macie Moo Breed: Yorkie Rescue: Albert’s Dog Lounge Age: Golden Oldie Weight: 14 pounds Background: Macie was surrendered to a shelter in Georgia because her humans were moving and she wasn't allowed to go with. Fun fact: Macie has been told that she looks like the flying nun with those amazing ears! Foster home: Madison, WI Activity level: Moderate Friendly with: Dogs, cats, and older, respectful kids. Macie is a bit exuberant in taking treats, so children should be taught to offer then with a flat hand. Meals: High quality dry small breed kibble mixed with canned, moist food. Meds: Only on monthly preventatives. Has a slight heart murmur but nothing of concern to the vet Sleep style: Macie sleeps on a dog bed next to the human bed, but she would REALLY love to sleep with her humans! Snore-o-meter: 1/10. Maybe a little purr now and then. Bark-o-meter: 2/10. A queen doesn't bark. It's unseemly. Shedding meter: 5/10. Regular brushings and groomings will help lower this number! Walkout song: "Walking on Sunshine" by Katrina and the Waves. Macie greets every day with joy, enthusiasm, a hop and a skip. Favorite pattern: Pink and sparkly. Because I am absolutely FABULOUS Best accessory: A pair of sparkly pink cat's eye sunglasses.... and a crown. Treat me like a queen and I will repay you with love and snuggles Favorite activity: Walkies for days! Add in a wiggle and a little jump, and that is mu favorite thing! Best feature: her thirst for life. She wants to see it all, sniff it all, do it all, eat it all. Favorite season: Spring. Or summer. Basically anything not cold and snowy. Also, rumor has it that y'all have lots of food on the grill in the summer up here. Personality: Silly, energetic, sweet, delightful, loyal, attached Macie's foster mommy says that she is hands down the sweetest, easiest foster she has ever had. Despite being an older lady, she is raring to go, ready to adventure, and walks like it is her runway and you are her hype man. She can get overwhelmed if other dogs are overly loud, and will go isolate to remove herself from the situation. Microchipped Spayed Housebroken, but she is older and has a small bladder so plan for regular potty breaks. She will alert when she has to go outside. Fearful and will bark in a crate. Naps on car rides UTD on vaccinations UTD on preventatives Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and then a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $350, ($600 for a pair). Story
Meet Toga: Your Next Great Love Story Breed: Yorkipoo (Yorkshire Terrier / Poodle Mix) Gender: Male (Neutered) Age: Young Adult Weight: 13 lbs Personality: Gentle, shy, observant, and deeply deserving His Story Toga spent the first chapter of his life working as a stud dog. Because of this, his world was very small, and he missed out on the typical joys of puppyhood. He never got to chase a ball, snooze on a plush sofa, or learn that human hands bring nothing but love and treats. Now that his breeding days are behind him, Toga is officially retired and looking for his forever home. He is currently learning a brand-new skill: how to just be a dog. His Personality Toga is a gentle soul who views the big, wide world with a mix of curiosity and caution. He is quite shy at first and prefers to observe from a safe distance before offering his trust. Loud noises and sudden movements can still startle him, but his progress in foster care has been nothing short of magical. Once he realizes he is safe, you will see his true colors start to shine. The first time he wagged his tail was a milestone celebration, and we know his future family will get to experience a million more "firsts" with him. What He Needs in a Home Patience & Heart: Toga doesn't need a family that expects an instant lap dog on day one. He needs someone with a gentle voice, a predictable routine, and a lot of love in their heart to let him bloom at his own pace. A Fenced-In Yard: Because the outside world can still feel overwhelming, Toga strictly requires a secure, fenced-in backyard. This will allow him to explore the grass, sniff the fresh air, and practice potty training safely without the pressure of leash walks just yet. A Quiet Environment: A low-traffic home without young children would be best suited for his sensitive nature. A confident, resident dog helper to show him the ropes would be a fantastic bonus, though not an absolute requirement. Could You Be Togas Person? Adopting a dog like Toga is one of the most rewarding experiences a person can have. You aren't just taking home a pet; you are saving a life and teaching a resilient soul that the world can be a kind, beautiful place. If you have the patience to watch this shy boy blossom into a beloved companion, Toga is waiting to start his new life with you. His adoption fee is 600, please apply at thecharlieprojectdogrescue.com Please visit our website www.thecharlieprojectdogrescue.com to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs.

Story
Lola loves people. And cats. Chasing her ball, belly rubs and naps make up the bulk of her day. Lola is housebroken but also uses pads, especially when it’s cold or rainy. She loves her food and is not a picky eater. Lola really has no bad habits. Because of her short nose, she snores but it is rather cute. Lola is not much of a barker so could do well in an apartment or condo. Being picked up is not one of her favorite things but doesn’t’ struggle when held. (I clip her nails while I’m holding her without a problem). Lola would do best with children 10 years of age or older.

Story
🩵 SPINA 🖤Spina has a very simple philosophy:If you’re sitting, she should be on you.If you’re standing, she should be with you.If you’re leaving the room, she’d like to know where you’re going and when you’ll be back.At approximately 3 months old and only 5 pounds, this tiny Chorkie (Chihuahua/Yorkie mix) has somehow convinced herself that personal space is completely unnecessary. She doesn’t just love her people. She believes she belongs with her people.Preferably touching them.Possibly attached to them.Definitely supervising them.Spina is the definition of a Velcro dog. She follows her humans everywhere, loves to be held, and is happiest when she’s curled up as close to you as physically possible. Foster mom says she seems convinced she should be living under your skin—and honestly, she’s not entirely wrong. 😂The funny thing is that for such a tiny little dog, she’s also surprisingly adventurous when the mood strikes. During the 5% of the day she’s not attached directly to a human, she’s busy exploring, checking things out, and playing with her dog friends. She’s affectionate, cuddly, well-mannered, crate trained, leash trained, and gets along with both dogs and cats. She’s still working on house training, but she’s already proving to be a smart little girl. And honestly?Spina isn’t looking for a house. She’s looking for a person. One special human she can follow from room to room, nap beside, supervise daily activities, and remind every single day that nobody should ever have to go through life alone. 🩵✨ Approx. 3 months old⚖️ Approx. 5 lbs🐾 Chihuahua/Yorkie Mix (Chorkie)📍 Near Madison, WI💲 Adoption fee: $500🩵 $150 refundable spay/neuter deposit (refunded when altered per rescue policy)✔️ Microchipped✔️ Current on age-appropriate vaccines✔️ Dog friendly✔️ Cat friendly✔️ Crate trained✔️ Leash trainedApply on our website:www.biggiepawsrescue.orgWarning: Spina may result in a permanent loss of personal space. 🐾DATCP # 494550
