Tobi may no longer be in the prime of his dog years but try telling him that. He's a little dog with a lot of sass. If he wants attention, he will give a little back. If he's hungry, he's going to huff & stare at you until you get your act together. He doesn't have many teeth left, but the ones he has he puts to good use. He loves treats and soft dog food. He is very exuberant about his treats, so you have to watch your fingers or one of the few teeth he has left might catch you. Tobi has no problem with other dogs and cats but would prefer a more mellow atmosphere. Due to his age, he urinates quite a bit, so he will have to go out often, but he does his very best to go potty outside. However, accidents do happen. Tobi may also have some vision problems. While he still seems to have his sight, it is impaired, kind of the Mr. Magoo of dogs, but he manages to get around. He does fairly well with small sets of stairs but will stumble if he gets too excited or his eyes misguide him. That being said, he is a happy little guy looking for a welcoming place to live out his golden years.#483538

Katie is almost 7 years old, having spent her first 6 years in a puppy mill. She will require a human with patience and gentleness as sudden noises put her on alert. A home far away from fireworks would be best. She is fostered in a home with both dogs and cats & gets along with all.Earning her trust is not an immediate event, but once you do, she will want to be by your side nearly all the time. Her favorite place to eat is next to her human. As well as sleeping in the same bed.`Outside` is becoming more familiar and knows doing her business outside makes her human happy. Her exact breed is unknown, but she is 100% good girl. Her coat will require grooming every 4-6 weeks. Emma came into foster care after her elderly parents could no longer care for her. I’m a recent arrival. However, it is never too early to start promoting myself. I know I look like a little hippie, I just say this is fashionable and who wants to get shaved down with this weather anyways. I enjoy little squeaky toys, but especially the loving care and attention from the Canine Care staff. They are just amazing and know how to heal our broken hearts and how to bring back happiness in our lives. Until I find a new family, I’m enjoying my stay here but you know the saying, nothing beats having your very own family!
