Story
Haku means "pure" in Japanese! I was named for my pure, passionate and overwhelming love for everyone around me! I came to the rescue when my dad was stationed in Japan and heartbroken that he couldn't take me with him. I've missed him so much ever since! Everyday I do the things I did with him with other dogs so I can try and remember what it felt like to be with him! But it's just not the same. So, I'm hoping a new family can come scoop me up and show me what it feels like to be a part of a home and family again! I am good with other dogs, I love playing chase with them or tugging on chew toys. I'll need a happy and active home so that my life will be full of love and fun! I am a bit anxious and nervous around new people, and people in general! Slow introductions, a safe space I can retreat to like a crate and not forcing me into spaces with tons of people will help me be myself all the time! Haku can only be adopted in the local or TX area. Local adoption only, in San Antonio or TX area, $200.

Story
Aqua is a three year old Alaskan Malamute born in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He is extremely friendly and loving towards people, even strangers on the street. Currently, he is known as "the neighborhood's dog" since all of the kids in the neighborhood have played with him since he was a puppy. The only thing he loves more than people is bananas. No seriously, if given the choice between meat and bananas, he would choose bananas immediately. Like all snow dogs, he has both strength and stamina to keep up with an active owner. Luckily, his favorite hobby is napping around the house all day. An ideal adopter would be someone who can go on daily walks with him and have a lively household. He wants nothing more than just being with his humans. An extra bonus would be a sufficiently large backyard for him to explore and sniff. He is also fully crate trained, potty trained and knows the standard American Kennel Club commands and hand signals.

Story
Forever home needed! Kiowa is a ~6 year old, ~80 lb Malamute/Husky mix. She is very sweet, playful and friendly! Requirements: -Fully fenced yard 6ft+ outside of the city (not available for adoption in King County) -Breed experience Kiowa is a great girl ready to join her active forever family. Kiowa is smart and loves to play! She would make a great adventure buddy. Though she is active, she has a great demeanor and can relax with her people after some activity. Kiowa is playful and would do best with another dog in the home. She does better with males so we are looking for a male dog of like size in the home for her companion! She is used to spending her time in a play yard with other playful huskies! Kiowa is spayed, microchipped and UTD on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $450.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Introducing Ghost! This stunning sweetheart is a playful and loving 5-year-old Malamute mix who is looking for his forever home! Ghost is incredibly friendly, happy and loves to play around outside with his people! He is a leaner and loves pets and attention too. Ghost walks well on leash but can get excited and pull at times. He is large, around 75-80lbs and will need an adopter who can handle his size, strength, and his desire to be cuddled up in your arms! Ghost has done well with other dogs in our care, and actually came from a home where he lived with two other large dogs. He would do well with another large laid back dog in the home or could do fine as an only dog soaking up all of the love and attention. No cats or small animals for him. He will do best in a home where his family is not gone long hours. Ghost is an active dog who will make an AMAZING adventure companion for any lucky outdoorsy family. He would love a home that takes him on many adventures as well as has a large yard for him to run and explore. Although he is a super friendly and cuddly dude, he can be strong and bouncy and needs some work on his overall obedience skills as he has been living in a commercial kennel for some time, so we are recommending an adult only home or a home with kids over the age of 12. He will also require a fence that is at least 6ft tall. Ghost is going to make an incredible addition to any lucky household that adopts him! Ghost is UTD on shots, neutered and microchipped. His adoption fee is $400.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Interested in adopting? See our adoption process. KANGA  thrives on adventure and would love an active adopter who will take him on adventures and give him plenty of play time! Kanga is a loyal guy and will be a great companion for someone. He LOVES the snow in the winter and to swim in the summer.  His number one favorite activity (even more than walks and treats) is going for car rides! He likes feeling the wind in his face through an open window (car surfing). Kanga is incredibly observant and curious. Kanga’s comfort with people has grown significantly while in rescue. He does need a little time to build trust, but eventually he will follow you around and give you kisses! He is also quite affectionate and loyal to those he bonds with. Kanga has excellent house manners and is happy to chill on his bed or lay beside you as you work. He has basic training and knows: sit, down, come, get it, stay, and release and is ready for the next level of training. He is very treat motivated and responds well to a clicker. Kanga just needs to know you can be counted on to pay attention to his physical cues when he’s feeling overwhelmed. Kanga would do best in a home setting with a secure yard and would prefer to be your only pet. He might do well with savvy teens as long as they are aware of Kanga’s “dog language” and can give him space when he needs it.  Are you the active, patient, forever home that Kanga is seeking? PHOENIX is a large boy who loves adventures, playing fetch and getting all the scratches you are willing to give.  He enjoys playing with stuffed toys that squeak, if it makes noise he will love it! Treats you say? Oh he will do so many tricks for you for snacks. He can sit, down, shake, other paw and more!  With a striking appearance and a heart full of love, he is on a journey to find his forever home. This sweet-natured canine requires an owner who can provide consistent guidance and training. PHOENIX thrives on mental and physical stimulation and requires an engaged owner who can provide him with ample opportunities for play and exercise. Despite his occasional mischievousness and counter-surfing tendencies, PHOENIX's loyalty and desire for affection shine through, making him a wonderful companion for the right family willing to give him the love and structure he deserves.
