Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.JERICHO walked into Malley Valley like he owned the place, confident and cool.  He is full of energy and loves to play with toys.  He will play fetch when he’s in the mood or will toss and rip a stuffed toy until it’s destroyed.  It’s all about having some fun. Once JERICHO is done playing, he is ready for affection and attention.  He is a mellow dog who gets along well with other dogs, often ignoring the small barking ones. JERICHO rides well in the car, easily jumping in to go on an adventure.   He appreciates treats and the opportunity to counter surf, probably a little too much.  He enjoys taking walks and could use the activity to lose some of the extra fluff. Are you looking for a fun, adventure buddy and cuddle bug?  JERICHO is your boy!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 15, 2025, 7:48 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.LOKI needs to be with a family that can provide the time he deserves and space to be able to run. A nice big, fenced yard would be wonderful! Since he is young, he has a lot of energy and needs to be exercised multiple times daily. LOKI enjoys playing with other dogs his size, a good game of chase or wrestling helps burn off some of that energy. But as with any playtime it should be supervised. Although LOKI enjoys playing with other dogs, he needs to be the only dog in his home. He doesn't like to share his humans with others. This boy is a big lover and a pack animal, so he will never want to leave your side and is always ready for snuggles. He loves exploring the outdoors, going on sniff walks, hiking and camping. If you have experience with his breed, looking for a younger dog to enjoy many adventures with, LOKI is the perfect boy for you. He will be your best adventure partner! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 3, 2025, 10:38 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.NICOLE is an energetic girl who loves playing with toys and her sister, DAKOTA.  When you first meet NICOLE, she will run to greet you because she loves to meet people, especially if she receives pets and attention.  She would enjoy a nice yard to feel safe in but is perfectly happy being indoors or going on car rides with you.  She knows some commands like "sit", "lay" and "shake".   NICOLE and DAKOTA are a bonded pair and need to be adopted together.  They both will excel in a furever home that will spoil them making them feel like princesses. She is currently living with a loving foster in Kent, WA.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 15, 2025, 7:48 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Are you looking for a mature, cuddly dog with a charming personality?  LOGAN may be just the boy for your family. LOGAN enjoys playing with toys as long as you are there to throw the toy and help him retrieve it.  Throw it again and he will chase it, but retrieve is not in the Malamute language.  He especially enjoys receiving pets and hanging out with his humans.   He knows basic commands; sit, down and stay. He loves treats but does not care about toys. LOGAN is currently living at Malley Valley and is comfortable around the other dogs. If he shared his home with another dog, a nice calm one would probably work out for the best.  Of course, being the only pup in the house would be heaven for the guy. Due to his size and need for attention, it would be best for LOGAN if he lived in a home with no children or with considerate older children.   Sometimes LOGAN can be a little shy and cautious of humans, so he will need to develop trust with his future pawrents.  But once he believes in you, he is all in with snuggles and ready to be your companion. LOGAN is looking for a new furver home where he can relax, be the King of the house and cuddle with his humans. Are you that home? Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 15, 2025, 7:48 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.BLACKJACK and his buddy TOGO are a bonded pair who were living a great life in a loving home until recently.  Unfortunately, their owner passed away, and they now need to find a new furever home. BLACKJACK is a little cautious when he first meets new people but warms up fast. Once he accepts you, he will greet you with a wag and a clear expectation that they're here to pet him and tell him what a sweet boy he is. He likes nothing better than sitting up next to you to get pets and snuggles. He's great at letting you know when you've found exactly the right spot and will lean into your hand with his tongue hanging out blissfully or roll over onto his back for tummy rubs. You will recognize BLACKJACK because he has a pink stripe across his boopable nose.   When BLACKJACK and TOGO are in their yard together, BLACKJACK will romp around with TOGO in brief bursts, and occasionally even run after a thrown toy, though once is usually plenty of that and he'll amble back over for more attention.   BLACKJACK is umm a little cubby and needs to lose weight. His future family should be prepared to help him on his weight loss journey. Both boys are staying at Malley Valley where our caretakers are giving them lots of attention.  If you have a big yard and a big heart, please consider taking these two into your home.  You will not regret all the cuddles, wet kisses and enjoyment you will receive.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 15, 2025, 7:48 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Pup of the week award goes to Yukon, who has REALLY been making leaps and bounds in his socialization journey these last few days!  He’s become a completely different dog from the shy, laid-back loner he was when he first arrived, and is now coming into his own as a playful, outgoing goofball with a dignified air about him that comes across as nearly regal.  Yukon has shown us that he’s no longer Mr. Shy Guy.  Yukon has not only found his confidence - he’s also found his voice! And it’s a LOUD one indeed! We’re incredibly proud of our boy, nevertheless.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 15, 2025, 8:33 pm

Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!  My name is Xavier from Korea and I am a wonderful approximately 5 month old  male Akita - Jindo mix.  I weigh approximately 14 lbs. and so excited to find my new forever home.  I am very happy, affectionate, smart, and friendly.  I was saved from the Korean kill shelter where I was due to be euthanized. The activists came and saved me and I can't wait to come to America and find a family to love and care for me forever.  Approximately over a million dogs a year are slaughtered to be eaten.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park, and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love, and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will help train your new pup.  My adoption fee of $1,295 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.   A GPS tracker or Apple Air Tag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an Air Tag from us   We cannot guarantee breed or age. The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  The adoption fee is donated to the rescue and is tax deductible.   Please e-mail   admin@gingerspetrescue.org   for an adoption application.
