Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Introducing Ghost! This stunning sweetheart is a playful and loving 5-year-old Malamute mix who is looking for his forever home! Ghost is incredibly friendly, happy and loves to play around outside with his people! He is a leaner and loves pets and attention too. Ghost walks well on leash but can get excited and pull at times. He is large, around 75-80lbs and will need an adopter who can handle his size, strength, and his desire to be cuddled up in your arms! Ghost has done well with other dogs in our care, and actually came from a home where he lived with two other large dogs. He would do well with another large laid back dog in the home or could do fine as an only dog soaking up all of the love and attention. No cats or small animals for him as he has a very high prey drive. He will do best in a home where his family is not gone long hours or takes him with them often. Ghost is an active dog who will make an AMAZING adventure companion for any lucky outdoorsy family. He would love a home that takes him on many adventures as well as has a large yard for him to run and explore. Anything involving snow brings him so much joy and although he likes a good adventure, he can also be a total couch potato! Although he is a super friendly and cuddly dude, he can be strong and bouncy and needs some continued basic obedience training. He has come a long ways on house training however and absolutely LOVES to cuddle with his person! We are recommending an adult only home or a home with kids over the age of 12. He will also require a fence that is at least 6ft tall. Ghost is going to make an incredible addition to any lucky household that adopts him and will be a very loyal companion. Ghost is UTD on shots, neutered and microchipped. His adoption fee is $400.

Story
FOREVER HOME NEEDED (currently in foster care) Chevy and Harley are a bonded pair of 4½-year-old, 50 lb Husky/Alaskan Malamute brothers who have been patiently waiting in foster care for their forever home. These two are truly something special! They are incredibly sweet, social, and easy to love. Both boys are great with other dogs, wonderful with kids, and friendly with everyone they meet. They’re house-trained, well-adjusted, and have experience living in a home. Chevy and Harley thrive on being part of the action. They don’t need marathon runs every day, but they do want a full life — outings, car rides, park days, brewery visits, off-leash adventures, weekend excursions — they’re always happy to tag along. They’ve done fantastic at breweries, parks, off-leash dog parks, and social gatherings. They’re confident, well-mannered, and love being included. They walk well on leash, enjoy staying close to their people, and are comfortable with grooming and regular brushing (which will be important to keep up with their coats). They’re affectionate, gentle, and happiest when they’re near their humans. Because they are social and people-oriented, they would do best in a home where someone isn’t gone for very long hours every day. They genuinely love being part of a family. They are ready for a home that will give them the full, active, love-filled life they deserve — together. Both boys are UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. Their adoption fee together is $800.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED! Kiowa is one of our long-timers, and has been waiting for her perfect forever family with us for over 4 years! Kiowa is a ~9 year old, ~80 lb Malamute/Husky mix. She is very sweet, playful and friendly! Kiowa has specific adoption requirements: - Fully 6ft+ fenced yard and free standing home outside of the city (not available for adoption in King County) - Breed experience - No cats or small critters Kiowa is a great girl ready to join her active forever family. Kiowa is smart and loves to play! She would make a great adventure buddy. Though she is active, she has a great demeanor and can relax with her people after some activity. Kiowa is playful, happy, sweet and friendly with people. She does well with other dogs but is better with males, so we are looking for a male dog of like size in the home for her companion! She can be dominant with other females at times, but is friendly and happy when out and about meeting other dogs. She is used to spending her time in a play yard with other playful huskies! Kiowa is spayed, microchipped and UTD on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $400.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If you’re dreaming of a mature, affectionate dog with a heart full of charm, LOGAN might be the perfect match for your family. This handsome boy loves a good toy&#226&#128&#145tossing session—as long as you’re part of the fun. He’ll happily chase the toy every time, but true to his Malamute roots, bringing it back is… optional. What he really wants is to share the moment with you. LOGAN is all about connection. He adores pets, quiet companionship, and simply being near his humans. He knows his basic commands—sit, down, and stay—and he’s very treat&#226&#128&#145motivated, which makes continued training a breeze. Toys don’t impress him much, but snacks? Absolutely. Currently living in foster, LOGAN is comfortable around the other dogs. In a home, he’d likely do best with a calm canine companion—or he’d be thrilled to be the one and only king of the castle. Because of his size and his desire for focused attention, LOGAN would thrive in a home without young children, or with older, respectful kids who understand his boundaries. He can be a bit shy at first, taking his time to decide who’s worthy of his trust. But once he chooses you, he’s all in—loyal, snuggly, and ready to be your devoted companion. LOGAN is searching for a forever home where he can relax, feel safe, and soak up all the love he’s been waiting for. Could your home be the one he’s been hoping for? This boy has transformed from a shy, laid&#226&#128&#145back loner into a playful, outgoing goofball—with just enough dignity in his posture to make him look almost regal. YUKON has officially shed his “Mr. Shy Guy” persona. Not only has he found his confidence… he’s also found his voice. And trust us—it’s a big one! His joyful barks echo his newfound boldness, and we couldn’t be prouder of how far he’s come. Watching YUKON blossom has been an absolute joy, and we’re so excited to see him continue stepping into the wonderful dog he was always meant to be.
