Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. POOF made the long journey from Oregon to Malley Valley like an absolute champ—he snoozed peacefully in the car and even rested his head sweetly on the driver’s shoulder along the way. Once he arrived, he greeted the volunteers with pure joy, soaking up every bit of attention. This boy has big happy&#226&#128&#145dog energy. He loves to zoom around the yard and toss his toys into the air like his own personal celebration. POOF also comes with some great basics already under his belt—he knows sit, shake, lie down, and he’s a pro at catching treats mid&#226&#128&#145air. When meeting the other Malley Valley dogs through the fence, he’s been calm, relaxed, and unbothered by their barking. For a newcomer, he’s showing all the signs of being an easygoing, lovable companion. POOF is still settling in, but he’s already proving to be a wonderful dog who’s ready to find his forever family. We’ll keep sharing updates as we learn more about this sweet guy. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 29, 2025, 9:09 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Pup of the Week goes to YUKON , who has been making huge strides in his socialization journey these past few days! This boy has transformed from a shy, laid&#226&#128&#145back loner into a playful, outgoing goofball—with just enough dignity in his posture to make him look almost regal. YUKON has officially shed his “Mr. Shy Guy” persona. Not only has he found his confidence… he’s also found his voice. And trust us—it’s a big one! His joyful barks echo his newfound boldness, and we couldn’t be prouder of how far he’s come. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If you’re dreaming of a mature, affectionate dog with a heart full of charm, LOGAN might be the perfect match for your family. This handsome boy loves a good toy&#226&#128&#145tossing session—as long as you’re part of the fun. He’ll happily chase the toy every time, but true to his Malamute roots, bringing it back is… optional. What he really wants is to share the moment with you. LOGAN is all about connection. He adores pets, quiet companionship, and simply being near his humans. He knows his basic commands—sit, down, and stay—and he’s very treat&#226&#128&#145motivated, which makes continued training a breeze. Toys don’t impress him much, but snacks? Absolutely. Currently living at Malley Valley, LOGAN is comfortable around the other dogs. In a home, he’d likely do best with a calm canine companion—or he’d be thrilled to be the one and only king of the castle. Because of his size and his desire for focused attention, LOGAN would thrive in a home without young children, or with older, respectful kids who understand his boundaries. He can be a bit shy at first, taking his time to decide who’s worthy of his trust. But once he chooses you, he’s all in—loyal, snuggly, and ready to be your devoted companion. LOGAN is searching for a forever home where he can relax, feel safe, and soak up all the love he’s been waiting for. Could your home be the one he’s been hoping for? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.SHADOW is a stunning, snow&#226&#128&#145white gentleman with a voice he’s proud to share and a heart that melts for his humans. He loves his walks, loves his pets, and absolutely loves leaning in close for that classic Malamute snuggle. He’s friendly with people and may do well with a calm canine companion—he recently lived peacefully with another dog. This boy is sharp as they come. SHADOW thrives on routine and picks up new things quickly. He already knows sit, stay, down, come, outside, treat, eat, and walk. Mealtime is a polite affair—he’ll wait patiently until he’s given the go&#226&#128&#145ahead. And if he needs something, he’ll come find you and lead you right to the door or his water bowl like the clever communicator he is. His manners are truly impressive. SHADOW won’t counter&#226&#128&#145surf, steal snacks, or help himself to anything unless he’s told it’s okay. Outside, he’s a calm, content yard&#226&#128&#145lounger who doesn’t dig. On walks, he’s curious about other dogs but stays composed and doesn’t react. What SHADOW needs most is a home that appreciates his goofy charm, his gentle nature, and the way he makes every day feel a little brighter. He’s currently living with one of our wonderful foster volunteers, waiting for the family who will see just how special he is.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 25, 2026, 2:22 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. HADES is patiently watching the world go by, waiting for the day his forever family comes to bring him home. Could that be you? This sweet, gentle boy absolutely thrives on human attention and affection. He may look a bit like a cattle dog, but don’t be fooled—his heart and personality are pure Malamute. He recently lived in an apartment, but HADES is much happier in a quieter, more peaceful setting. City noise isn’t his thing, but give him a scenic walk, a forest trail, or a calm neighborhood stroll and he lights right up. And if you crack the car windows and invite him along for an adventure? Even better. HADES is incredibly smart and has an impressive vocabulary. He knows all the basics—sit, down, stay—but he also knows the fun stuff: hug, kiss, cuddle, dance, and even go through, where he zips through your legs like a furry little tunnel runner. He loves engaging with his humans and will happily play and interact for hours. Even as a mature boy, HADES still has plenty of puppy energy. He gets along well with large dogs and may enjoy having a canine companion, but he’d also be perfectly content as the only dog in the home—he loves his people so much that he doesn’t always want to share them. HADES is currently being spoiled with love by his foster family in Shoreline, WA. His dream home is quiet, cozy, and full of affection—a place where he can relax, play, snuggle in your bed, and feel like your number&#226&#128&#145one priority. Honestly, describing all of HADES’ wonderful qualities would take pages. He’s that special.
