Phillip is an adorable, affectionate, playful 2 yo English Bulldog who likes all people and other dogs. He came to Jelly's Place with Ema, another Bulldog. He is eager to please and loves treats, which will make training him and teaching him new things much easier and more fun. He walks well on a leash and would love taking walks, going on adventures and hanging out on the couch watching TV and munching on popcorn. Because he is a Bulldog, he can be heat and cold sensitive, so he needs to be kept inside in very hot or cold weather. Phillip would love to be part of an active family; kids and other dogs would be a plus. He would love a yard, but would also do well in an apartment. Phillip is already neutered, UTD on vaccines and microchipped.

Reece is a 2-year-old, 60-pound AKC papered English Bulldog with a rare red merle coat that makes her truly one of a kind. She’s a solid girl with lots of lovable rolls and could benefit from regular exercise to shed a few pounds. This is Monty! He's a 4 year old English Bulldog that loves to sit in the sun and spend time with his humans. Monty loves to go outside on walks and play inside with balls and chew toys. He's a silly bulldog that will be a great companion for someone who spends a lot of time at home since he loves to nap and simply be around his family. He is crate trained though, so he is able to spend time alone during the day too. We are looking to rehome Monty because he has shown reactivity toward small children. Our daughter is 6 and has learned his boundaries, but we are looking to add another baby to the family and don't think Monty will be happy in that environment. We are hoping to find a loving family that is willing to take him on as their own because he deserves so much love! Monty is reactive toward other dogs as well, but we have learned to walk him away from other dogs and keep him distracted. He's smart and food motivated so training and socialization is possible!

English Bulldog Age: 5-6 yrs old Female, Spayed 38 lbs Adoption Fee: $125 (includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations) Courtney was found as a stray and turned into the local shelter. She had an abscess on her paw that needed medical attention. Upon evaluation by our vet, it was observed that she also has dry eye syndrome, ectropion eyelids that turn in, but her corneas were in pretty good shape. There were also sutures still in place on her lower abdominal area. The incision was too small for a recent C-section and there were no other signs that she had been recently pregnant (although she has likely had puppies in the past). It could have been from a recent spay, but lab testing indicated that she was still intact. It is a mystery as to why the incision w/ sutures was there. Our vet spayed her and fixed her eyelids. She is on ointment and eye drops for the chronic dry eyes, but it is possible that this will correct itself over time. English bulldogs in general often have LOTS of medical issues. Courtney had some domination issues with the volunteers when she first came to us. After some consistent and stringent correction, that behavior considerably lessened, but she will need to be monitored when meeting strangers. Otherwise, she is very sweet and loves attention. We pulled Courtney at the same time we pulled another English Bulldog, a male named Otis, from the same shelter. We thought that they may have come from the same home and were bonded. They do get along very well and probably bonded in a bulldog breed bonding sort of way. Courtney and Otis need to be adopted together.
