Hi meet Allie Allie is a Lovely American Bulldog/ Hound mix who is about 5 years old and is full grown at around 70lbs. Allie loves playing with her people and toys but is also an amazing snuggler. She is a happy go lucky girl with all who meets her. She would be best as an only dog in the home as she loves the attention and is not a fan of sharing. Allie wants a person/family who will provide her with a life of mental and physical stimulation while keeping her safe and happy. She loves to be with her people, so she needs a plan if there are longer workdays, so she is not spending too much time in a crate. Allie would make a great hiking, running, and walking partner. Allie came to us after being rescued from the shelter system. The independent fellow rescuer that pulled her and Chance wanted to give them a second opportunity to find their forever homes, but they fell ill and needed help, they reached out to TLF for assistance. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. Please visit our social media platforms for the specifics for each weekend as it changes from week to week. Story

Hi meet Chance Chance is a Lovely American Bulldog mix who is about 7 years old and is full grown at around 70lbs. Chance loves playing with his humans and toys but is also an amazing snuggler. He is a tad shy around strangers at first but the moment he warms up, he will show you how amazing he really is. He would be best as an only dog in the home as he LOVES to get all the attention. Chance wants a person/family who will provide him with a life of mental and physical stimulation while keeping him safe and happy. She longs for someone that will show her the love she truly deserves; the way she tucks her ears and tail back when being pet shows us that affection is something she has wanted but been denied for a long time. Sweet Blossom was rescued with demodectic mange, this is a non-contagious parasite that is passed down from mother to puppy during the first few days of their lives. When a dog is neglected, in the way that Blossom was, it flares up and leaves them extremely uncomfortable. We just had to save her and give her a second chance. Moose is truly a people dog—deeply loyal, affectionate, and happiest when he’s right by your side. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who loves to snuggle, this sweet boy is your match. At home, he is calm, gentle, and loving. He is fully house trained and crate trained, making him an easy addition to a structured home. While he’s confident and relaxed indoors, the outside world can still feel a little scary for him. He’s a sensitive soul who needs confidence-building, but with consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, he is going to absolutely thrive. He does get excited to meet other dogs in the home, but can feel overwhelmed with dogs out in public. He also gets a jealous when sharing attention, so he would do best as the only dog in the home, or with an experienced owner who understands these possessive behaviors and is committed to continued training. He is wonderful with adults, though new people meeting him should of course go slowly. We have not seen him around kids. He does need daily exercise and enrichment, which will not only keep him happy and healthy—but will also help build his confidence even more, to aid in stopping the possessive behaviors. This boy has so much love to give and just needs the right person to help him blossom into the confident, happy dog he’s meant to be.
