Adoption Fee: $475 - I'm already spayed/neutered! All animals are UTD on vaccines (may need boosters) and microchipped From the foster: Tiger, 651, is a sweet puppy. He loves romping with our 25 pound dog. Puppy 651 is an adorable little guy. He's very friendly & hasn't met a person he doesn't like. People have commented on how cute & playful he is. He loves retrieving soft toys. He's quite organized rounding them up & keeping them in a puppy pen. You can always find a favorite one next to him when he naps. He's good at entertaining himself. He enjoys being around his foster & is working on being left alone for short periods of time. Being outside is a favorite activity, as everything is new to him. He bonded quickly to his foster and seemed right at home. www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED!!!  Dude, where's my dog? Oh wait, Dude is right in front of you! Sweet!  This sweet boy is an 8-year-old American Bulldog mix weighing in at 70 pounds of pure love. Seriously, we sometimes wonder if the amount of love he has is bigger than his body can hold! Dude is all about people - he loves them in every shape, size, and age. However, because he's a bit of a potato (in the best way), we recommend a home without small children, as he might accidentally knock them over. Dude is a training graduate, and boy, does he have some impressive skills! He's mastered commands like sit, and he's learned to sit at doorways, when greeting people, and even on walks when stopped, all through hand signals. This smart pup also knows down, stay, heel, come, and release, making him quite the obedient companion.  To keep this big-hearted boy happy and thriving, he'll do best in an active home with people who can exercise him daily, both physically and mentally. He absolutely adores going on walks and does great on a leash, especially when his leader helps him stay true to his training. With proper stimulation, exercise, and a whole lot of love, Dude will shower you with more love, wiggles, and joy than you can imagine! So, if you're interested in meeting Dude, don't hesitate to apply today. He's waiting to fill your life with endless happiness! Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##397211##

Story
Meet Tula, aka Tula Jane! Tula was rescued off the streets as a tiny puppy nearly one year ago and has been well loved and cared for ever since . She is perfectly house trained and is socialized but always cautious with new comers, having spent a lot of time around different people and dogs . She loves to be near her family and gets especially enthusiastic about riding in the car if she is told she is going to see the vet (not kidding) or going to daycare!  Her DNA profile revealed she is a mix of a few different breeds: American bulldog, German shepherd, American pit bull terrier, miniature Australian shepherd, and American staffordshire terrier. She is a very smart girl, quite a beauty and has a smile bigger than the state of Oklahoma where she currently resides!  She knows commands "sit" and "down" and "spin" so far and can certainly learn more! She has lots of energy and LOVES to play with all of her toys. An ideal day in Tula’s eyes would include lots of time outside with her family. She loves to play and has a passion for gathering sticks while out on walks and has fun playing by the creek. When home she will either snuggle on the couch, put her head by yours to remind you she is there if you are watching TV and is known to shadow her people throughout the house. When it is time to rest, she is happy to nap with her own blanket. She is a very well behaved dog, is spayed and up to date on her vaccines and is a health nut, loving to snack on veggies; carrots are her current favorite! Would you be interested in giving Tula the forever home that she is so deserving of and in need of at this time? Please contact Chris if you have any questions or need more information. We are happy to bring Tula Jane to you if you are her perfect forever home!   (713) 480 8473 clzenner1@gmail.com      This dog is a courtesy listing and not one of our dogs. Please contact the email listed in this post.September 8, 2024, 11:43 am

Story
With a charming brown "pirate" patch over her left eye, 5-year-old Penny is 37 pounds of pure joy and friendliness. Always sporting her signature smile, she adores every person she meets and thrives on snuggles and affection. Penny loves cuddling with her foster family, enjoys head, belly, and butt rubs, and is happiest when she's by their side, whether that’s on the couch or with her head resting in their laps. Energetic and loving, she enjoys running around the yard, playing fetch, chewing on bones, and going on walks where she shows off her excellent leash manners. Penny gets along well with her doggy foster friends, especially those her size or larger, and is a fan of stuffed toys, which she gleefully de-stuffs. She’s a laid-back passenger on car rides and is motivated by love, food, toys, and the simple joy of life. She knows her name, understands commands like "come," “sit,” "down," and "no," and, though crate trained, is polite enough to be left uncrated. Almost fully house-trained, Penny is now ready for her forever family—ideally one with another dog and a commitment to continue her training, keeping her happy and engaged. Penny would do best in a home without cats. Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails). If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives!  A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you.  The adoption fee for this pet is $375. Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog.  Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all vaccinations after adoption. Please fill out an adoption application by clicking  here . Please give us 48 hours to review your application and respond to you. (Remember to check your spam folder for our emails!) We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email dogs@arrcolorado.org for more information, as we can't accept calls.PLEASE NOTE:  The breed listed is the information we've received from the shelter.  Shelters usually guess at the breed, so there is no guarantee, as we don't DNA test our foster pets.  Here is some interesting info on breed identification:  https://arrcolorado.org/category/puppy-dog-tips/ Our adoption process is: 1. Fill out our Adoption Application online.  We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet. 2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting.  Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member! Story
He gets along well with other dogs after a meet and greet in an open space. Same with humans. Has barrier issues and stranger danger but once he’s properly introduced he’s a lover. Warms up to females quicker than males. Cries ALOT, that’s how he communicates with all emotions.. If he could find someone to give him the one on one attention and training he needs he’d be an amazing friend. I’m a single mom of 2 and none of us train nor do I have the time or funds to provide that. The shelter I got him from did not disclose his full personality, only said high energy. Dumb friends league won’t let me return him and foothills shelter was going to put him down because Charlie wouldn’t let anyone near him (barrier issues). no fee for whomever is willing to give him the life he deserves!! He needs a yard, space and lots of exercise. I at least had a huge yard for him so I’d like for him to go to a place that can provide the space but it’s not a deal breaker.

Shelter Visiting Hours are 12 pm to 4 pm Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Please fill out an adoption application at mamcorescue.org or attend one of our Saturday adoption event. Events are held each Saturday from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm at our office: 2721 W Oxford Ave., Suite 6 Englewood, CO 80110 *In order to protect our puppies, we do not allow puppies to attend open events until they have a minimum of two vaccinations. Puppies who are available, but not listed on our weekly Facebook event, are considered "deposit only" puppies. These puppies will only attend the event IF they are reserved through a deposit. You can check the list of puppies attending the open event by checking the event:https://www.facebook.com/MAMCORescue At MAMCO we understand that in order to continue rescuing moms and babies, we must stretch our finances as far as we are able. For this reason we use variable adoption pricing. By assigning higher adoption fees to high demand moms and puppies, we are able to rescue more families in need. The money raised through these adoptions acts as a benefactor to moms and puppies in our care who require expensive veterinary treatments, have behavioral issues, or need more time to find a home. We often reduce the adoption fees on these harder-to-place moms and puppies to help them find forever families. Adoption fees vary. Applications can be filled out at mamcorescue.org. ##1738422##

Story
Adoption Fee: $475 All animals are UTD on vaccines (may need boosters) and microchipped **BamBam was adopted as a young puppy. She started to have issues with the other dog in the home as she became an adult. Eventually the adopters surrendered her back to us as a result. BamBam would do best as the only dog in her home. She does okay here and there with other dogs, but is unpredictable long-term and we therefore feel that being the only dog in the home would be her best chance for success.** From the foster: Mayday mayday! Code Red! SOS! Let me formally introduce myself. I'm BamBam. I'm looking for a place to permanently hang my harness; I'm looking for a human that will love me as much as I love them; I'm looking for a place to call home! I'm a lovely girl, inside and out, with a heart of gold and eyes that are each half blue half brown. I'm already potty trained and know several basic commands, plus I'm super treat-motivated, so teaching me new tricks will be easy! I love being by my human, but I am crate-trained too! Can you believe I'm also great on a leash?! When it comes to fetch, I'm all in-I get so excited that I'll dance and spin for you! I can be a Nervous Nelly, but I'm MOST nervous that I'm going to have a hard time finding a forever home. Because of my anxiety, I'd feel most comfortable in a home without other dogs. A home with a structured routine and experienced dog parent who can build trust with me would help me build my confidence. My foster mom says someone is going to be so happy to have me as their best friend, and I can't wait! Look what I can do!! Good on a leash Crate-trained Well-behaved Great solo dog Quiet (only barks to alert) Playful Cuddly www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt
