Story
We have had our 5 year old bully since birth, and she has done very well until she turned about 4. She tore both of her ACL’s and ended up needing multiple surgeries to repair them completely. She is now healed and as healthy as ever (up to date on all immunizations, medical appointments, heart guard, etc) and as playful as ever. Her issue now, however is that she has become extremely aggressive towards our older German shepherd that she has been around her entire life. We did everything we possible could to help her, including sending her to a very expensive boarding school for over a month. She is very obedient now and utilizes an E-Collar all the time and a muzzle when on walks. She still can not be around our other dog as even with the efforts and training, she still tries to attack him. We additionally have a 1 year old son in the home that Stella does amazing with. She is the biggest teddy bear with humans, is a huge goofball and has a good heart. She needs a responsible owner.

Story
Meet Baylard, a stunning American Bulldog mix with a heart full of love and a story that’s touched everyone at Ace of Hearts Dog Rescue. Baylard was adopted last year and moved to Texas, but when he developed epilepsy, his owner abandoned him at a vet’s office. We immediately arranged for his safe return to California, and now we’re determined to find him the forever home he truly deserves. Baylard is a fantastic dog with so much to offer. He’s well-trained, housebroken, and adores all people. His epilepsy is well-managed with a couple of daily pills, and as long as he stays on his medication, he’s happy, healthy, and seizure-free. The vet who cared for him confirmed he’s in great shape and has many wonderful years ahead—he just needs someone committed to giving him the consistent care he deserves. Baylard would thrive as the only pet in a home, where he can soak up all the love and attention. He’s loyal, affectionate, and ready to bring so much joy to the right person or family. If you’re looking for a loving, devoted companion and are prepared to keep up with his simple medical routine, Baylard is waiting to meet you! To adopt Baylard, please fill out an application on our website.

Story
Zeppelin is a 4-year-old male American Bulldog mix who’s ready to soar into your heart. Rescued from a high-kill shelter, Zeppelin is a sweet and social guy who gets along wonderfully with both people and other dogs. Unfortunately, he’s not fond of cats, so he’s looking for a feline-free home. Zeppelin does have skin allergies, but he's on a special diet of JustFoodForDogs Skin Support Formula to help manage his condition. Despite this, he's a lovable and friendly dog who brings joy and energy wherever he goes. If you're looking for a loyal and affectionate companion who is great with other dogs and enjoys the company of people, Zeppelin might be just the dog for you. He’s ready to put his past behind him and start a new chapter with a loving family!

Story
Meet Riley, a resilient 9-year-old American Bulldog who’s searching for a special home where she can thrive. Riley’s past likely involved training for dog fighting, which has left her highly dog aggressive. She cannot be in a home with other dogs or children but is okay with cats. Despite her challenging history, Riley is well-behaved and affectionate at home. She requires a very experienced owner who can help manage her anxiety and aggression towards other dogs. Riley’s ideal home is one where she can be the sole pet and receive the understanding and care she needs to feel secure and loved. If you’re an experienced dog owner with the patience and dedication to provide Riley with the stable environment she deserves, she’s ready to be your loyal and loving companion.

Story
Meet Blossom! Blossom is our most gentle and beautiful baby at the rescue. She longs for someone that will show her the love she truly deserves; the way she tucks her ears and tail back when being pet shows us that affection is something she has wanted but been denied for a long time. Sweet Blossom was rescued with demodectic mange, this is a non-contagious parasite that is passed down from mother to puppy during the first few days of their lives. When a dog is neglected, in the way that Blossom was, it flares up and leaves them extremely uncomfortable. We just had to save her and give her a second chance. Can you be the one to make her life worth all of the pain?
