Huey is an adorable 4-5 year-old happy-go-lucky American Bulldog/Boxer mix. Huey is excellent at all kinds of Colorado adventuring - hiking, running, camping and brewery hopping. He's happy to crash out on the couch with his people and watch the Broncos (or Love Island, although he'll never admit it). Huey is house and crate trained, knows basic commands and is a absolute gentleman on leash. Huey LOVES kiddos and is respectful of kitties, too! Huey loves his people so much, he may prefer to be your one and only pup, but he may also do well with a well-matched dog friend. Huey is such a hilarious buddy and has the most endearing and loving personality. Huey is also a super quiet dog. His foster reports that he has never heard him bark or make much noise at all. Huey would probably be just fine in an apartment or condo setting because he is so easy and quiet but really just wants a person or family that has a lot of time to spend with him and who is looking for a cuddly, constant companion. We have had our 5 year old bully since birth, and she has done very well until she turned about 4. She tore both of her ACL’s and ended up needing multiple surgeries to repair them completely. She is now healed and as healthy as ever (up to date on all immunizations, medical appointments, heart guard, etc) and as playful as ever. Her issue now, however is that she has become extremely aggressive towards our older German shepherd that she has been around her entire life. We did everything we possible could to help her, including sending her to a very expensive boarding school for over a month. She is very obedient now and utilizes an E-Collar all the time and a muzzle when on walks. She still can not be around our other dog as even with the efforts and training, she still tries to attack him. We additionally have a 1 year old son in the home that Stella does amazing with. She is the biggest teddy bear with humans, is a huge goofball and has a good heart. She needs a responsible owner.
