At a perfect 69 pounds, I’m big enough to look impressive but soft enough to melt right into your lap like a weighted blanket with feelings. I came from a shelter in Kansas where I was THIS CLOSE to running out of time… but I got saved in the nick of time and wow, am I grateful. Every day I wake up like, “Umm… warm beds? Humans who cuddle? Snacks that appear magically?? Is this HEAVEN?” My foster mom says — and I quote — I’m “the best dog.” Not a good dog. THE best dog. (I didn’t say it… but I’m also not arguing.)
