Story
We don't know what's more to love, McLovin Cuddle’s adorable baby face or his phenomenal personality. We joke around that he's going to steal your girlfriend or if you're a single guy he's going to be the perfect wingman because of how adorable he is. He has the type of face that makes you almost get that uncontrollable urge to squeeze his squishy little face, as if his cuteness is too much for your heart to handle, like your love for him is just bursting out in an adorable, squishy explosion! That's what it's like when you meet McLovin. You know it's ridiculous, but you just can't help but want to smoosh him because he's that adorable.
Watch his video and fall in love with this sweet squishy boy: https://youtu.be/38SjASBHTlg?si=4gGIxnlfQIryBkwI
McLovin Cuddles is believed to be a pittie mix approximately 1 year old and currently weighs 47 lbs. Don't let his pictures fool you though, he leans more toward the petite side of 47 lbs. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age.
The level of love, affection, and admiration McLovin has to offer is not only associated with adults, but it also extends towards children. McLovin has been around kids as young as 4 years old and not only immediately went up to the little girl the second he met her, but he also was so gentle and immediately wanted to shower her with love. It was an immediate conntection. We believe McLovin would make a great dog for a family with kiddos.
One of our favorite things about McLovin is his ability to adjust his energy to whatever you need it to be and he does it so seamlessly. You're able to get him super hyped up to the point where he's zooming around, and then when you want him to be calm, he immediately settles down and sits like a good boy. You can see it for yourself in his video. His adaptability makes him a perfect companion for so many things! Want to go for a hike? McLovin will go exploring with you. Are you the type of person that likes to go for a run? McLovin will put on his running shoes for you. Are you having a day where you're just feeling lazy and want to stay home watching movies all day? McLovin will be happy to snuggle with you all day. He is the perfect mixture of everything you could ever want in a furry best friend.
McLovin is dog friendly and has been introduced to a wide variety of dogs all with different personalities. His favorite play mates are the dogs that have a happy go-lucky personality that like to play but also know when it's time for a play break. He also appreciates being with pups that are not too pushy with their play either. McLovin enjoys romping around the yard with other dogs, playing a game of "tag you're it," and occasionally enjoys the rumble and tumble of a good wrestling match with the right dog. If you don't have other dogs, McLovin is totally fine with that. He is always happiest when he is surrounded by his favorite people and he loves everyone! While he will happily play with another dog that matches his play style, his eyes light up when he's getting loved on and he doesn't need the company of another dog to help him feel comfortable. Besides, we don't think he'll mind being the center of your attention anyways. He'll soak it all up.
McLovin also met our house cat Biggie and met him appropriately and was very respectful around him. He did not chase Biggie, nor was he bothered by Biggie jumping or doing what cats do. Biggie also felt comfortable around him as well. They even shared a few kisses with each other too. We do not know if he has ever lived in a home before with a cat and this was our first time seeing him with a cat. If you have a cat in the home, we can arrange for him to have a sleepover with a cat upon request. Just let us know!
He is so smart too. Crate and potty trained, knows how to sit, walks easy on a leash and is treat motivated. McLovin loves tasty snacks and is eager to please his humans. So if you're the type of person that wants to train your pup cool tricks, McLovin will happily learn new tricks with you. He also enjoys being outside and would love a home that has a backyard where he can get the zoomies, soak up the sun, and explore every corner, always finding new things to sniff and discover.
We are willing to test McLovin Cuddles with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know.

At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dog’s growth and we enjoy seeing their progress!
We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap—ranging from $100–$1,000+ per dog.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
