Story
Maddox is a great young boy looking for his forever home! He has been learning to walk on a leash and learning his doggie manners, which he is mastering nicely. He is right at a year old so having an active family would be a plus for this boy. He loves to run and play and gets along great with all the foster dogs he lives with. He would get along great with the kiddos but with his size and activeness, caution would need to be taken just because he is so active and stout. He would make a great companion for any size family but someone who likes to take walks or jogs would be ideal for Maddox. Maddox is ready to travel now. Working on his potty-training and doing a great job. Go ahead and apply for this handsome young puppers as he will be grabbed up in no time at all! Watch his video at https://youtube.com/shorts/R8NyufGFtD0?feature=share Maddox is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. Story
This 4 month old snuggly beauty is ready for a home to call her very own! She loves to play with other pups, loves all the nice people that she meets and will be a wonderful addition to any loving home. She was one of our lucky pups who happened to be in attendance at the Slumber Pawty and all reports said she was the coziest and snuggliest of the bunch! She's one of the volunteers' favorites and we're all rooting for her to find her family! Claire Is spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for all of the intestinal parasites, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Because intestinal parasites are cyclical, your puppy may need additional treatment once you get him/her home. This is common and nothing to be alarmed about. Puppies and dogs need to be treated periodically for parasites throughout their entire lives. Visit our website to see our weekend Events here! Pups with the designated “meet me” next to their names are in CT and ready to attend adoption events. Please check with your adoption coordinator if you are interested in a specific dog prior to coming to an event, as a dog's availability to attend can change at any time. We can not guarantee approval on site at the events, so we recommend applying ahead of time. You can apply at the event, but the application process may not be able to be completed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pup’s at the event! The adoption fee is $600 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. More and more of our adopters are having fun with DNA tests on their pups. You might ask yourself why our breed guess is varying degrees of difference from the DNA tests. Most of our puppies are rescued from high kill shelters or other abandonment situations and we have no info on parents. When we rescue puppies that have no background info, we make our very best educated guess as to breed mix and age. Our guesstimate comes from years and years and years of animal welfare work and training, but our guesses won't always agree with your vet, your neighbor, your DNA test, etc. The most important thing to know about your puppy's breed mix is that most likely he/she is a Super Lovable Mutt made of many many many different breeds. If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at the Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. Story
Snow, with her once matted and dirt-streaked fur, embodies the indomitable spirit of survival. Snow was rescued by local law enforcement after a concerned neighbor reported her neglect. Snow was pregnant and tied out with a plastic dog house that had no bedding. She also had no food or water. Imagine her, tethered in solitude, her belly swollen with life, yet denied the most basic necessities. She endured hunger, thirst, and the biting cold, her eyes pleading for mercy. But fate intervened, and compassionate hands untangled her from that cruel existence. Now, Snow stands before you—a testament to resilience, a beacon of hope. Her gentle eyes hold stories untold, and her wagging tail whispers of forgiveness. She gave birth in a municipal shelter in rural West TN and is looking to put her momming days behind her. Snow seeks a home where her past fades into distant memory, replaced by the promise of a brighter future. If you’re ready to be her hero, contact us for more information on how to adopt her. Together, we’ll rewrite her story—one of redemption, compassion, and unwavering devotion. 🐾❤️ Let Snow’s journey inspire yours. 🏡🐶 Snow is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Story
Bella & her running buddy, were left on the streets to fend for themselves. They had been wandering around that neighborhood for a while and befriended a kind business owner who made sure they did not go hungry. Thanks to that Good Samaritan who gained their trust, they were taken in & have been in foster care since. She has gained 20 pounds since then and is doing great! She is approx 3 years old & is fully vetted. As you can see in the video, she is a loving playful pup. Bella is a joyful soul who bonds closely to her people. This 60 lb dreamboat will steal your heart and shower you with love every day. Her furever family is going to be lucky beyond belief. If you are interested in learning more about this really sweet and deserving girl, please feel free to text or call Alecia Clark, @ 901-486-2850. We are a rescue organization located with our dogs in Tennessee and have weekly transport available for our pups to relocate up north with their new forever families. His adoption fee of $275 includes her vaccinations, spay, microchip and transport to her new furever home. Since a meet and greet is not possible prior to adoption, our adopters make their decision to adopt based on pictures, videos and talking to the foster parent. We will do everything possible to make sure she is the perfect match for you and your family & will be with you every step of the way.
