Story
CHARLESTON IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN. CHARLESTON WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE HE IS ADOPTED!    This hunk is Charleston. He is a four year old Bulldog mix. He is the sweetest fun loving goofball. He is a big boy who loves attention. He wants you to pet him, and he wants to lean into you with his whole body. He does not meet a stranger in a person or dog. He loves playing in the backyard with his toys, and then lounging on the porch sunbathing. He gets excited to go anywhere. He will run to the door and wait for you to let him out- then he jumps right in the car. This adorable boy has the most stunning eyes. We believe Charleston has some hearing loss. He seems to hear some pitches, but either doesn’t hear the others or ignores them. He does good walking on a leash, is kennel trained, and house trained. He loves greatly- he will become your shadow. If he wants your attention he will whine/talk to you to let you know. Charleston is a big boy with still a lot of puppy energy so a home with older children would be best. This guy is amazing, and deserves the perfect forever home! He is fully vetted, neutered, and microchipped.  His adoption fee of $500 includes the transport to CT.  We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Charleston up north to his new family.   If you have any questions, please email us at:   newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com You can apply to adopt Charleston  here: www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET!   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 15, 2024, 2:30 pm

**WILLOW IS IN HER FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE ADOPTED** Meet Willow.  This itty-bitty girl might be the runt of the litter, but she has a ginormous personality and isn't afraid to show it off! Weighing in at a whopping 9 lbs @ 10 weeks old, she loves to play with her 85 lb foster brother, yell at her sister Cricket for dirt rolling her, sneak attack june bugs, and take spontaneous naps. She is a serious, SERIOUS cuddle bug and if given the chance, she would sleep on your face! Not even kidding.  Very affectionate, seems to take correction well, and even tempered for her age.  Zoomies - probably the most adorable zoomies I've ever seen in my life. We have not started leash training yet, but plan on doing so within the next couple of weeks.  She is crate trained, sleeps through the night, working on potty training but we still have accidents - she's 10 weeks old, accidents are going to happen.  We were told her litter was American Bulldog, but we honestly have no idea what these little grass goblins are mixed with until they get a little bit bigger. Willow will be ready for adoption on or around May 21st.  At that time, she will be fully vetted, microchipped, and spayed.  Willow's adoption fee of $550.00 includes transportation to CT.   We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Willow to her new family. If you have any questions, please email us at newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com,  and we will answer as soon as we possibly can. **CRICKET IS IN HER FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE ADOPTED** This little girl is EVERYTHING!  Cricket is a 10-week-old, 11 lb., American Bulldog mix who is probably the prettiest lil' thing I've seen in a long time. Cricket is 100% puppy energy who loves stalking & dirt rolling her little sister Willow, playing with her foster sister Lady, beating up random shoes, and corralling her favorite toys into her kennel for safe keeping.  She is very attentive for a puppy and loves when you talk to her, especially if its cuddle time...she will zonk out hard.  If you're looking for a nap buddy or a cuddle queen, Cricket is your gal! Story
Maddox is a great young boy looking for his forever home! He has been learning to walk on a leash and learning his doggie manners, which he is mastering nicely. He is right at a year old so having an active family would be a plus for this boy. He loves to run and play and gets along great with all the foster dogs he lives with. He would get along great with the kiddos but with his size and activeness, caution would need to be taken just because he is so active and stout. He would make a great companion for any size family but someone who likes to take walks or jogs would be ideal for Maddox. Maddox is ready to travel now. Working on his potty-training and doing a great job. Go ahead and apply for this handsome young puppers as he will be grabbed up in no time at all! Watch his video at https://youtube.com/shorts/R8NyufGFtD0?feature=share Maddox is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. Story
Muffin- is a sweet loving pup. She is currently about 4 months old and weighs around 32 lbs. She adores attention and will quickly roll to her back to get belly rubs. She loves to hold onto your arm and get extra rubs. Muffin is a little shy at first however after two minutes she is your best friend and will follow you everywhere you go. Muffin LoVes water! She has been known to sit in her heated water bowl and had a blast in the snow. The awe in her eyes the first time she saw snow then rolled in it was adorable. Muffin gets along great with other dogs, of all ages and sizes. She doesn’t know what to think of a cat. Muffin has that let’s play personality as long as she is with her people. She loves to crawl up into your lap and lean into you with her whole body, rest her head on your shoulder and know she is safe and loved. Muffin- tail- she is missing fur on the top and on her paw. Paw is coming back in great, tail is slowing coming back in. It’s not fungal or a skin issue- she gets a little nervous and gnaws at her tail. Have been coating it with an antibiotic ointment and Vaseline (so she stops) and it has been working. Muffin Is spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for all of the intestinal parasites, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Because intestinal parasites are cyclical, your puppy may need additional treatment once you get him/her home. This is common and nothing to be alarmed about. Puppies and dogs need to be treated periodically for parasites throughout their entire lives. Visit our website to see our weekend Events here! Pup’s with the designated “meet me” next to their names are in CT and ready to attend adoption events. Please check with your adoption coordinator if you are interested in a specific dog prior to coming to an event, as a dog's availability to attend can change at any time. We can not guarantee approval on site at the events, so we recommend applying ahead of time. You can apply at the event, but the application process may not be able to be completed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event! The adoption fee is $600 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. More and more of our adopters are having fun with DNA tests on their pups. You might ask yourself why our breed guess is varying degrees of difference from the DNA tests. Most of our puppies are rescued from high kill shelters or other abandonment situations and we have no info on parents. When we rescue puppies that have no background info, we make our very best educated guess as to breed mix and age. Our guesstimate comes from years and years and years of animal welfare work and training, but our guesses won't always agree with your vet, your neighbor, your DNA test, etc. The most important thing to know about your puppy's breed mix is that most likely he/she is a Super Lovable Mutt made of many many many different breeds. If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at the Woburn MA isolation facility. If your application was successfully submitted you will get an automatically generated confirmation email. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back.
