He’s been in foster care for two years, and during that time he’s shown himself to be an incredibly loving, well-mannered, and loyal companion. Like many thoughtful dogs, Paxton can take a little time to warm up to new people, but once he does, his sweet and affectionate personality shines through. It doesn’t take long at all for him to relax and show just how loving and loyal he is. Paxton is off-leash trained using a remote collar and does beautifully with structure and guidance. He’s house trained, happily crates (his crate is his safe space), and settles well in the home. He’s the kind of dog who thrives on routine but also knows how to relax and just be near his people. One of Paxton’s favorite things? Other dogs. He absolutely loves canine companionship and would do best in a home with another friendly dog to play with and learn from. He shines in social settings and truly enjoys having a buddy by his side. Paxton is affectionate without being overbearing, playful without being wild, and attentive without being needy. Miss Patsy’s bio from her stay at the shelter: Miss Patsy has been a hit for various activities off-site, from hikes to exploring agility centers to hanging out at a volunteer's house. Patsy was graded as an A+ cuddle buddy, and you'll be tempted to spend all day petting her luscious rolls. She absolutely belongs stretched out on a plush spot on the couch! Patsy is also a silly, spunky, and playful gal who is full of life and entertaining charm. She enjoys her walks and play time. Patsy has also been playfully social with other dogs and she has a fun time wiggling around the yards with a favorite toy (and showing off her buns!) She's a great sport for trying out all sorts of new activities and adventures, and her earnestly enthusiastic, clumsy approach to life is sure to bring a smile to your face. When she's excited, she can get a little jumpy and exuberant and with this and her size, she would do best in a home with older kids and adults. It doesn't take her too much activity before she's ready to settle back down and snuggle. Patsy is also a smarty who knows sit and down, and she listens well. She also seems housebroken (no accidents) and rides well in the car. She definitely already has some manners down. Patsy has a lot of personality and she's ready to share it with a family. Looking for a furry friend for your kiddos? Luna may just be that friend! Luna thinks she is one of the kids. She hangs out with the kids, playing dress up, napping together, or just chill while the kids do their thing. She loves it if the kids switch things up and play fetch with her. She brings the ball back 😊 She is happy to show off her athleticism if the occasion calls for it. She’ll entertain herself with a toy or a chewbone if the kids want to do their own thing. She loves their companionship. She likes them even better if they drop crumbs or food on the floor :) Once, at a park, Luna stood in between an unsuspecting child and an unfriendly dog and gently guided the child out of harm's way of the unfriendly dog. Luna also has a knack for socks. She is a pro at stealing socks, but only to lay in them. If you are missing a sock, it is most likely in her crate. Luna loves car rides. She’ll be over the moon if she can pick up the kids from school with you. Luna is good with dogs too but certainly prefers her little humans 😊 Luna does not chime in if dogs bark at her on a walk. She carries on her walk quietly. Loud noises, random chaotic movements do not bother her. Although Luna is neutral to dogs, she prefers to be the only dog due to a previous unprovoked attack by another dog. Luna is 5 years old, 55lb Staffy. She is looking for a family with kids she can hang out with. Luna is house and crate trained.

Sweet Baby wants to be your companion! She is chill and low maintenance (for the most part haha) if she isn’t being forward soliciting pets and leaning into your legs when getting pets. She is happiest when she is interacting with humans. She loves being a ‘turtle’ for back scratches. She will kick her back legs in the air because the feeling of being scratched is soooooo good! At 10 years old, Baby still enjoys long walks and light jogging/nighttime runs. After that, you can find her wiped out on the couch (or her bed) snoring extremely loudly, sometimes even howling in her sleep. Must be a good dream! 😊 Baby’s favorite TV show is SpongeBob. She listens intently to his conversations. Cute! Baby loves meeting people. She goes up to everyone she meets hoping to get pets (or treats. Cheese is her favorite). When you come home from work. Baby likes to greet you at the door. She immediately solicits belly rubs and butt scratches. Some of Baby’s ‘dislikes’ are car rides (she gets anxiety), loud noises (mostly door buzzers), her nails getting clipped and most importantly when people stop petting her. Baby is about 10 years old, 90lb Boxer mix. Baby is looking for a family that can provide her with a calm, quiet environment for her beauty sleep yet active enough where she gets her daily walks/jogs. Baby is great with everyone. She is house trained. She isn’t destructive in the home when left alone. She whines for a little bit when people leave but she settles quickly. Baby previously lived with 2 cats. Her previous family moved away and left her in the apartment.
