Story
Pet was originally ours, pet then adopted by my mother after her dog passed away. My mother is no longer physically able to take care of the animal and our other dog no longer will accept her in the house. She’s a laid-back girl who just likes to take a nap eat snacks and cuddle with her family. Loves to be with her people. Very sweet.

Story
Hi, I’m Brunswick — but you can call me your new best friend. I’m 75 lbs of charm, fluff, and tail wags, with a smile so dazzling it should come with a warning label. I’m about 7 years young and living life like every day is my birthday (except with fewer hats and more belly rubs). I came to the shelter as a stray and needed some medical TLC. The humans here helped me out big time, but the doc says I’ve got something called “high grade mast cell cancer.” Sounds fancy, right? Basically, it means I’ve got limited time — but don’t worry, I haven’t read the prognosis, so I’m still busy living my best life. Right now, I feel great! I love walks, sniffing literally everything, and spreading joy like it’s my job (because it is). I’m not looking for a lifetime — just a heart and a couch to call my own for whatever time I’ve got. Think of me as a limited-edition lovebug: rare, sweet, and worth every second. Let’s make some memories. You bring the snacks, I’ll bring the smiles. Love, Brunswick Available at the Animal Rescue League of Berks County, Birdsboro Pa 19508, KL#1257

Story
Rainy is a spunky girl waiting for her forever home. She really is a puppy at heart despite her size. Since being in foster care she has learned to sit and has taken to living the dog life. Rainy is house trained and does great in her crate if unattended. She is a cuddle bug through and through, most of which is on your lap - this is a non-negotiable for her. She loves hiking and running outside however her favorite spot is next to you. Rainy has her daily zooms, normally right before and after eating, each meal. Rainy melts your heart with her tail wag at first sight. Come meet Rainy today!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Fill out an Adoption Application HEADLINER : Lively, Lovely, LaLa, aka Lala-palooza, Lala-pop! PERSONALITY : It's hard to believe that Lala hasn't been snapped up as yet. She's smart and loves everyone she meets. This energetic girl loves fresh veggies, fruit, ice cubes and a vigorous "butt scratch." Have you ever had that friend or relative that overstays their welcome? You know you have. Do not despair as there is a solution. Lala definitely has the bulldog "toots" that are guaranteed to clear out a room (or unwanted guests). Just remember to "breathe through your mouth". :) If you're looking for a dog with the personality of a potato, Lala is not the dog for you; lazy is not in Lala's DNA. If you want a hiking or running companion or a dog (with training) that would excel in lure coursing, agility, fly ball or any other high energy sport, Lala's your girl. Ahhh, if only there were a way to harness all that energy. FAVORITE ACTIVITIES : Lala is a high energy pup that loves to fetch... though she hasn't quite grasped the idea of releasing yet, she is working on it. Lala is a pup that never passes up the opportunity for a good game of tug of war. MEDICAL ISSUES : None. WHAT WOULD BE THE BEST KIND OF HOME : Lala would do best in an active home with a fenced yard where she can run around to her heart’s content and burn some of that high energy off. Lala can quite play rough with other dogs. A home where she the only dog soaking up the attention or a home with another large dog that matches her energy would be best. Kids older than 12 would be best as Lala may knock a smaller child down. Lala would greatly benefit from positive reinforcement obedience classes. Though Lala loves to go for a ride, she does get car sick so best not to feed her before she hops in the car.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Certain large-breed dogs should not be sterilized prior to 12 - 18 months of age.  If you adopt an intact puppy, you will sign an adoption contract agreeing to have the dog sterilized at your expense at the time your veterinarian recommends. Proof of sterilization must be provided to Mastiffs To Mutts Rescue as soon as the procedure is completed.  If the puppy is not sterilized as required, Mastiffs To Mutts Rescue reserves the right to claim legal ownership of the dog.  For additional information please review our FAQs or contact mastiffstomutts@gmail.com **Mastiffs To Mutts Rescue reserves the right to approve or deny any adoption that occurs through this organization without disclosure.  We reserve the right to make exceptions for special circumstances. **PA Kennel License: 05845   October 29, 2025, 7:16 pm

Story
KENNEL ID #18804 Duck was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Greene County, TN, where overcrowding forces heartbreaking decisions every day. Some were strays never reclaimed. Others were surrendered by their families — and sadly, owner surrenders are the first to be euthanized, as they receive no stray hold. Duck is an owner surrender he is housebroken, good with children, other dogs, and cats, knows commands, and is neutered. Duck is a big boy weighing 80lbs. Thankfully, our rescue partner in Tennessee stepped in just in time, saving 15 incredible dogs from the “last call” list. Each has now received full veterinary care and is preparing for a fresh start in PA. Despite their past, these dogs are full of hope and heart. Could this survivor be your new best friend? Duck is hanging out with his rescuer and foster mom, Carol, in Tennessee. If you have any questions, please email her at  abandonedangelsinc@gmail.com . Adoption Fee $300 Donations are desperately needed and greatly appreciated for medical care. https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/abandonedangelsinc  Thank you for your interest in rescue.  If you would like to be considered for  adoption,  please submit an application to adopt.  If you have any questions regarding the adoption process, please email:  rescuedp2024@icloud.com  or ddlu219@yahoo.com   for dog/puppies.    APPLICATIONS TO ADOPT : DOG     CAT     BIRD      REPTILE       SMALL ANIMALS        November 13, 2025, 11:03 pm
