Zane is a total heartthrob with a personality as bright as his smile! This 3-year-old boy is the full package — sweet, affectionate, calm and full of love! Whether he’s goofing around with his friends, soaking up attention, or showing off his happy tail wags, Zane is pure sunshine in dog form. ☀️ Zane was brought to a high kill Houston shelter as a stray alongside his buddy Rascal and the two have been nothing short of amazing together. Their sweet and loving disposition bought them a ticket to life and they were rescued. Zane and Rascal can be adopted together or separately. Either way, this handsome boy is so ready to bring endless fun and affection to a lucky forever home. Zane is about 3 years old, and currently weighs 63 lb. He is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and kept on heartworm and flea preventative. He is currently being fostered in Houston but can travel to any state, even Canada to the right home. To meet this amazing pup via facetime or whatsapp or other video chat apps, please send a completed application via www.savesomesouls.com His adoption fee of $350 includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery and recovery, heartworm and flea prevention), a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, and Harness. Yards MUST BE adequately and fully fenced to adopt our pups. We do not accept electric or underground fences. Our dogs are fully assessed by foster parents, vets and behaviorists, as well as videos and video chats are available to observe their manners in public. We are extremely transparent and like to share everything negative and positive with the adopters, to ensure it's a good fit and they are not returned to us, as the trips are very stressful on them. Houston is home to million strays, many who are abandoned, many born on the streets, many who escaped while living in the yard, which is common in Texas. Since our rescue does not get grants that shelters get, we use adoption fee to help the pups and kitties in our care. Your adoption fee goes towards vetting and feeding our long term and permanent fosters, and unadoptable pups, as well as towards the monthly care and preventatives etc of our pets. By adopting one pup from our rescue, you make room for another dog to be rescued our high kill shelter, thus becoming an integral part of our mission to save as many unfortunate dogs off the streets and shelters as possible. Hi, my name is Mimi! I was born in September of 2022. My people think I may be an American Bulldog mix. I am 42 pounds. I am a smaller gal and my people say I am the perfect medium size girl! I came into rescue after a nice lady watched me being chased by a bunch of other dogs. I was in heat and nothing good was going to come from that. She saved me from having an unwanted litter of puppies on the street. I am a super sweet girl. I like to play and snuggle. My foster family has done a great job socializing me. I love everyone I meet and like to be loved on. I have never been cat tested so my people are going to say no to a home with furry felines. I am in a home with other dogs and do well. I like having the foster siblings. I have been around both large dogs and small dogs. There is a ten year old boy in my foster home and I really like him. I am house trained, crate trained and walk well on a leash. I ride well in the car and am up for any adventure. I can totally envision myself sitting at an outdoor coffee shop slurping a cappuccino! I am a healthy pup and if you are looking for a new fur baby, I may be the one. I am spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. 7 year old, 80 pound neutered American Bulldog. UTD on vaccines / health exams with no known health issues. His temperament is very much a guard dog mentality, with lower energy levels. Great for snuggling on the couch and having a companion who just wants your company.He cannot be placed in a home with cats, although female dogs are great. He has a “Leader of the Pack” alpha presence, so it would be best to go to a home with female dogs or no other animals at all. He’s wonderful with children and infants, though.We’re rehoming because my fiancé and I are moving in together, but I have two senior skittish cats that haven’t been exposed to dogs. This is a very high-stress situation, so please reach out if you’re serious about meeting him.We’re happy to schedule meet and greets, and we require a home-check to verify he’ll be cared for in a safe and loving environment.Thank you for reading about him!

Meet Mabel! She is a healthy, loveable, almost 2-year-old American Bulldog mixed breed. She is a courtesy post for House of Hope in Shelton WA. Mabel was fostered as a puppy, along with her mom and 6 other siblings. She was adopted out with her sister, but unfortunately, they developed littermate syndrome and the difficult decision to separate them was made. Mabel has been back at HOH for several months and she has been doing fantastic. She lives with 6 other dogs and has been a model pup. Mabel does sometimes show some signs of nervousness and insecurity around new people, so slow introductions are a must. Mabel has been well cared for and will come with vet records. She is vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. I think Mabel's ideal home would be one without a lot of commotion. A yard that she can play ball in and sunbathe. She is crate trained, house trained and has had some basic obedience classes. She would do best with confident dog friends that she can live with and/or visit with and avoid staying out of chaotic dog parks. I also think that with proper conditioning, Mabel would enjoy hiking, taking long walks, with her human/family. Meet Cupcake, a great all-around dog! She was found by a county deputy on the side of the highway, where she was cuddling her dog friend who had been hit by a car. The cop actually thought she had been hit also because she was laying with him after he had passed! We think they were both dumped. Cupcake really needs a best friend to snuggle with! Her ideal would be someone who works from home with at least a small fenced yard. She just wants affection and would love to host doggie play dates and then crash out on the couch. She is a moderate energy level. Cupcake is good with adults, children and other dogs. Really, a great pup! Thank you! And Cupcake thanks you, as well! This big girl was found in the middle of nowhere, it took us 5 days to capture her, as she was afraid. Once in our hands, she understood that nothing was wrong and gave us her trust. She is a big goofy girl, she doesn't measure her strength and is great for a very active person who likes to run around and play ball. Holly deserves lots of love and loves to receive it, we know her looks can be intimidating but she is the cutest and most adorable little girl you will ever meet! She is learning to sit to wait for her food, but she is just too playful and bouncy! Always with lots of energy and love to give.
