Story
Fefe came to TJO as a very nervous stray who was slow to warm up, but once she became more comfortable she started looking for love and attention wherever she could find it. While she can still be wary of new people, she warms up quickly with those who are willing to let her come to them. Even with her anxieties, however, Fefe is a very excitable and high-energy dog, and so would do best with someone who has both the patience and experience necessary to provide her with the right home.OTHER PETS:Fefe is calm when walking next to other dogs who don't pay her much mind, but when they come into her space she quickly becomes uncomfortable and will growl to set that boundary. She doesn't have much interest in interacting with other dogs as it is, and greatly prefers when they leave her alone as well, so she would do best as the only pet in the household. [Should Be Only Pet] NO SMALL DOGS OR CATSOWNER EXPERIENCE:Fefe would do best with someone who has experience with owning strong, high-energy dogs. [Experienced]KIDS:Fefe is uncomfortable with some types of handling, and is overall an intense dog who tends to jump and pull strongly on leash. She would would thus do better with adults who are able to handle both her energy and her strength. [Adults Only (17+)]ACTIVITY LEVEL:Fefe is a lot of dog with a lot of energy. In a home environment, she would do best with both routine daily walks and various forms of mental enrichment to keep her mind and body busy. Once she's good and tired at the end of the day, she'd be happy to curl up and spend some time on the couch with her people! [Olympic Athlete]VETERINARY CARE:[Routine]LEVEL OF TRAINING NEEDED:Fefe is still at the beginning of her training journey, and will do best learning with someone who can offer both patience and confidence while she adjusts. Positive reinforcement training will help Fefe not only learn her basic cues, but also help her to feel more comfortable and confident in herself! It will provide a good opportunity for her to bond with her new owner. [Intense]GROOMING:[Minimal]July 20, 2024, 5:42 pm

Story
I adopted Koko from a neglectful home and she’s thrived in my home. I’ve been extremely busy for the last few months and would like to give her a good quality of life! I’m looking for a home with a backyard for her to let alll her energy out , or just a family that is able to give her that active time! She’s very playful and her biggest struggle is her “jumpiness” onto people, but she’s been doing much better!

Story
Neesy is about 6 years old. She is very good with adults and children. She likes to play with her toys during the day and snuggle at night. She's a sweet, gentle girl who is fully house trained. She is up to date on all her shots and vet visits (paperwork confirmation can be provided). She prefers to be the dominant dog so a single pet family will work best for her. She does not shed a lot either.

Story
I have recently been dealing with serious medical issues that leave me unable to physically take care for my dog Brady. I recently suffered a stroke, along with other health problems, unfortunately he’s too strong for me to handle. I rescued him when he was 1 year old, he is now 8 years old. Brady has been the “only child” since I’ve had him, and would probably like to keep it that way. He hasn’t been around other dogs to much. Brady weighs 70-75 pounds and can be quite the bulldozer, so he would be good with someone that can handle is size. Brady is house trained, and also fixed. He is not crate trained. Brady is up for anything whether it’s cuddles on the couch or a walk in the park. He loves running around a backyard or sunbathing. He also likes to go for car rides, swimming , and playing tug of war . He’s vocal and will let you know if there’s something he wants. He favorite snack is chicken nuggets. Brady does get scared of thunder

Story
Tanner O’Bryon is a cuddle buddy and thinks he is smaller than his actual size. He likes to sit on feet or in front of a fan at times. He did get a nickname of The Sock Bandit because he loves playing with socks and will snatch them quickly. He is very playful and would benefit with a house with other dogs and/or children that can help keep him occupied and entertained. He loves to play around during meals and would need encouragement to eat vs play. Tanner is an amazing buddy to have.
