Story
Neesy is about 6 years old. She is very good with adults and children. She likes to play with her toys during the day and snuggle at night. She's a sweet, gentle girl who is fully house trained. She is up to date on all her shots and vet visits (paperwork confirmation can be provided). She prefers to be the dominant dog so a single pet family will work best for her. She does not shed a lot either.

Story
I have recently been dealing with serious medical issues that leave me unable to physically take care for my dog Brady. I recently suffered a stroke, along with other health problems, unfortunately he’s too strong for me to handle. I rescued him when he was 1 year old, he is now 8 years old. Brady has been the “only child” since I’ve had him, and would probably like to keep it that way. He hasn’t been around other dogs to much. Brady weighs 70-75 pounds and can be quite the bulldozer, so he would be good with someone that can handle is size. Brady is house trained, and also fixed. He is not crate trained. Brady is up for anything whether it’s cuddles on the couch or a walk in the park. He loves running around a backyard or sunbathing. He also likes to go for car rides, swimming , and playing tug of war . He’s vocal and will let you know if there’s something he wants. He favorite snack is chicken nuggets. Brady does get scared of thunder

Story
Rylee came to TJO as a stray and immediately began treatment for some skin issues. She has proven to be a friendly, outgoing dog who won't let a little itchiness get her down.OTHER PETS: Rylee is an outgoing dog who absolutely loves inviting her new canine friends to play with her. She is socialble, but might be bothersome to a dog who does not enjoy play. Not good with cats or small animals [Likely (Must Meet First)] OWNER EXPERIENCE: Rylee would be a great dog for a first time owner to take through positive reinforcement training - Rylee and her owner could learn and grow together! [First Dog] KIDS: Rylee enjoys play but settles well, even when she get bouncy zoomies. [Likely (Must Meet First)] ACTIVITY LEVEL: Rylee enjoys walks and would be a great nature exploration buddy once she develops a walking routine with her new owner. Rylee also enjoys relaxing after she gets her energy out and would not say no to a quality couch snuggle. [Good Walking Buddy] VETERINARY CARE: Rylee is being treated for skin issues and has been since her arrival. Her condition has improved but has not completely resolved. It is important to bear in mind that these issues could be acute (a reaction to something she encounted in the world that will not reoccur once completely resolved) or chronic (a recurring issue that caused by allergies. [Routine / Above Average] LEVEL OF TRAINING NEEDED: Rylee would benefit from positive reinforcement training to help her bond with her new owner, master basic cues, and reinforce appropriate behavior. She is friendly and outgoing and the mental stimulation of learning new skills would also benefit her. [Minimal] GROOMING: [Minimal] May 4, 2024, 4:43 pm

Story
This mellow girl came to TJO as a stray after being hit by a car. Iceland has recovered nicely and now she is available for adoption. Given Iceland's recent accident, her owner should have a good relationship with a vet to monitor progress, and learn how to identify any signs of pain or discomfort. Signs of pain can include changes in temperament or routine. She is intelligent and alert, but will benefit from positive reinforcement training and patience. She is learning how to walk on a leash and has improved.OTHER PETS: Ok with medium dogs. NO CATS OR SMALLS DOGS OWNER EXPERIENCE: Best suited for an experienced guardian that will help her learn new skills KIDS: Adults Only (She gets mouthy when she is excited) ACTIVITY LEVEL:Good Walking Buddy needs regular exercise, routine, and positive training, May have a high prey driveVETERINARY CARE: Routine LEVEL OF TRAINING NEEDED:Minimal GROOMING:Minimal May 4, 2024, 4:43 pm

Story
Wesson "Wes" is such a lazy boy who loves treats and cuddling with his blankie and watching tv. He does not like to be around other dogs so he would need to be the only one. He doesn't mind our toddler but he moves away from her when he's tired of her. He's good at tricking you into giving him treats. He loves to cuddle up in bed with you at night time. He is crate trained and house trained. He absolutely loves car rides. (He's crossed the country about 5 times with our family) I wish we could keep him but we cannot due to him not getting along with our other dog and not having the big open yard or space for him to run like we used to. Our busy schedule just doesn't allow us to give him the attention we once could. He will come with his crate, food storage container (full of food), and his blankie.

Story
Banjo is a sweet boy who needs space to roam. He loves long walks and lots of cuddles. Banjo goes by multiply nicknames but mostly "Boo Boo". He's a big baby who will steal your food from your plate if you leave him with it. Unfortunately, we just do not have the big space and time we once had. This is one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make. I helped deliver this sweet boy almost five years ago. He has such a loving personality and I hope whoever gets him loves him the way I love him. He's actually an American Bully but that wasn't an option. He's crate trained but does not like being in his crate. He will come with his crate and a dog-food storage bin full of his current food diet.

Story
Iceberg is known to sleep in and snuggle up with you every chance he gets, but will gladly go for a walk and bask in the sun when asked. He is house trained and knows sit, stay, paw, leave it, and down. He walks well on a leash, however does tend to pull in the beginning due to excitement. He does well having free range of the house while at work, just sleeps through the day. No need to hide your food while eating, he will lay next to you quietly and allow you to enjoy your meal. I adopted Iceberg about two weeks ago and unfortunately he does not get along with my cat. It is heartbreaking that I have come to this conclusion and would love to find him a new loving home. He did not do well in the shelter due to stress so I would love to be able to avoid that at all costs. He would do well in a home with an experienced handler due to some unknowns of how he is around other dogs and strangers. He is an amazing dog and would be a great addition.

Playing, running, chasing, being with my humans, playing, wagging my tail, playing, and going on lots of walks.Dislikes?Kitties (why do people have those fluffy things), sitting still, not playing, and not laying on top of my hooman! What's my perfect date?Anything fun that I get to do with my HOOMAN! Are you Todd's new best friend? Todd would really like a new home that is PIT BULL SAVVY and will give him the attention and exercise he craves. This big meatball needs a Hooman who will continue to work on his leash training and provide him with a job that will occupy his time... even if its just learning obedience commands. He wants someone consistent who will give him the exercise he needs. Story
Sasha-******TLC Club Member*******10 year old pitbull terrier, not good with cats, no kids, potty trained. Sasha is an active Pitty girl who was adopted out and returned due to a change in circumstances. Sasha has moderate to high energy but also will be happy snuggling on the couch for some of the day. Sasha would do best in a home with pitbull experience And in a home with no kids as she can get over excited by too much stimulation. Sasha can live with other dogs though we recommend dogs who are calmer and will tolerate her poor play manners well and who will not overstimulate her. Sasha gets spring allergies that cause her to have red eyes and itchy skin. This has been treated by providing her with Allergy pills when the allergies come on and are resolved when the seasons change. Sasha would do well in a home with no cats and in a home with someone who has experience setting boundaries and limitations. And a home with a fenced yard is a must. Please note we do not have a central kennel facility, all of our pets are located in foster homes.
