This is Harley! He was rescued by his current foster. He’s been undergoing training for basic obedience skills and has been excelling! So far Harley has been exposed to cats and children, and has done excellent with both. He has not been introduced to dogs yet, but shows no signs of aggression. We believe he would be a great playmate to another dog. He is currently unfixed, but he is still a bit young to undergo the surgery. He approximate his age to be under 1 year old - usually we like to wait until after 1 year, but that would be up to the adopter. He has had his rabies shot and is scheduled to have his others shortly. We will pay for neutering! He is potty trained! Very energetic and would do well with an athletic household or somewhere with a place for him to run. An absolute sweetheart that is eager to please. Come meet him and see if he would be the right fit for your family! Comes with a bed, collar, leash, toys, and food.

I came to MVPC severally underweight, but I have been on a strict feeding plan and am packing on the pounds. I'm almost back to my ideal size. Hello Everyone - my name is Ruby Riot, though I have no earthly idea where the latter part of the name came from, because I am a very sweet, very proper lady. Aside from being downright gorgeous, I am also a happy, well-behaved companion and world-class snuggler. I love to play with other dogs of all shapes and sizes and am always ready for an adventure. I do well in the car, and love to be out in public meeting people and getting all the pets. I have really good leash manners and am always up for a walk, though I sometimes get distracted by other dogs and the occasional squirrel or other furry little distraction. I’m crate trained and house-broken. Though between you and me, I prefer not to be in the crate, because you aren’t in there with me. You should get a bigger crate. I’m still working with my foster human on basic commands. I know “sit” and “shake,” though for the life of me, I don’t understand the point of “stay.” If I stay, then how can I be right beside you when you walk away? That just seems dumb, but you two-legged critters are funny that way. I have a lump on my chest but the vet checked me out and I've been cleared - it's just a cyst, so I'm on the hunt for my furever home! Hi there! I'm Aiyana! My foster folks say I'm a little princess, and I'm looking for my new castle complete with my royal family. I'm a tiny girl, but believe me, I'm twice the dog I was when I got to MVPC. Literally! I had been abandoned behind a vacant house, and I was severely underweight and missing a bunch of my hair. Even worse, I had a nasty injury to my rear foot and it was thought that I would need that leg amputated. My Vet said he thought I had got it caught in a trap. Luckily for me, my Vet and my foster mom worked really hard to heal my foot and get my leg back into shape. I'm using it more every day and zooming around just like my foster sibs. I have one more checkup to go, but they believe now that I can keep my leg. That's a relief! I'm a SUPER sweet girl who adores my humans. Snuggle times are the bestest, especially with a blanket in this nasty weather. I've been working hard to learn my basic commands and get this housebreaking thing down, and I'm making good progress. Those snackies I get for being a good girl sure help! 👅 I'm also learning to play with my foster sibs now that I'm healed up, and that's fun too. You know what's really amazing?
