Story
Meet Eyeore 💙 Eyeore has been with us for about two months after being found abandoned in a cage on our property, and despite such a heartbreaking start, he has proven to be nothing short of amazing. This boy’s resilience is matched only by his incredible capacity for love. Eyeore is the snuggliest dog you’ll ever meet. He has no concept of personal space and will happily climb into your lap, gently push you over, and make sure you’re giving him all the affection he deserves. His love is big, warm, and constant. Eyeore does have some pretty significant allergies, and his skin is still healing, but that doesn’t slow him down or make him any less lovable. With continued care, comfort, and a consistent routine, he continues to improve—and through it all, his sweet nature never wavers. He is truly a standout companion and would make an incredible addition to a family. Eyeore does wonderfully with other animals and thrives in a home filled with kindness, patience, and cuddles. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving dog who will fill your home (and your lap) with affection, Eyeore is your guy. 🐾

Story
Zinger’s story is one of incredible resilience and sweetness in the face of unthinkable neglect. He was rescued by the Humane Society of Greater Dayton from one of the most severe cruelty cases our team has encountered, where dozens of animals were found living in extreme filth, confinement, and deprivation. Despite everything he endured, Zinger has shown nothing but kindness and a gentle spirit. His skin is still healing from the harsh conditions he lived in, but that hasn’t stopped him from being a friendly, affectionate boy who clearly wants to connect with people. Once Zinger was removed from those conditions and given proper care, food, and a clean, safe space, his true personality began to shine. He is a very sweet dog who enjoys attention and is eager to please. While he may need a little help polishing up some basic training skills, he is highly food motivated, which will make learning both fun and rewarding for him and his future family. Zinger is now ready for a fresh start with someone who will show him the love, patience, and consistency he has always deserved. He has already proven how much heart he has, and with a caring home, he’s sure to continue blossoming into the happy, confident companion he was meant to be.

Story
Ogden is a sweet, affectionate, and loyal 5-year-old pit bull who adores people — especially kids! He’s a total love bug who enjoys cuddles, kisses, car rides, and hiking adventures. He’s crate-trained, fully potty-trained, and will make an amazing companion for someone who has time, space, and love to give. I’m a single mom who recently had to sell my house and move into an apartment. It breaks my heart, but I know Ogden deserves more space and attention than I can give right now. He’s happiest with room to play and explore — ideally a home with a yard where he can stretch his legs and thrive. • Lives peacefully with a cat and a small dog (a wiener dog) • Gets overly excited when seeing new dogs on walks — he sometimes isn’t sure if he wants to play or protect, so he’ll need a patient owner willing to continue working on his social skills It truly breaks our hearts to say goodbye, but we know Ogden deserves the best life possible — Please take a chance on this sweet cuddle bug.

Story
Meet Winny, the new love of your life. Winny will love you right back with cuddles and being held. She loves kids and other dogs. Winny is a very excited greeter though, so a home with smaller children would need extra attention so she does not accidentally knock over a little one with her excitement. Winny also LOVES walks and car rides, but will definitely lead the way on a walk so she will need someone who can hold down the fort. So much love going around with Winny. When Winny is by herself at home it takes her a few minutes to calm in her crate, but she even sleeps in her crate, with the command "nap", at night to let you get your beauty rest. Speaking of commands, this smart little girl knows "sit" and "come". Squeaky toys are her favorite and Winny is potty trained like a big girl. Winny still neeeds a slow feeder for meals since she eats with gusto. Winny is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. If Winny seems like the right fit for you, go to www.pawpatroldayton.com/adopt to apply! Her adoption fee is $285. We believe she may be a year old old Boxer Whippet mix and she's around 35-40 pounds. All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.

Story
Hi there, I'm Vernon! I am a super snuggly sweetheart. I have the the softest, rabbit-like fur you’ll ever touch. I'm a bulldog mix with the cutest underbite, really, I'm a total cuddlebug and love nothing more than curling up close for a nap—or playing joyfully with other dogs. Before rescue, I was surviving as a stray on the streets for months, too scared to trust despite many kindhearted attempts. When I finally decided it was okay to trust and taken in, I had some serious wounds from life outside — I got some TLC, antibiotics, and love. But that is all behind me now and my foster says I've healed beautifully, both inside and out. I have been told that I can have a very serious look but I am gentle, affectionate, and ready to bond deeply with a forever family. While I haven't met cats yet, I am at my best and confident when I am with other dogs and would thrive in a home with canine companions or loving humans who adore snuggles. Now that my rough days are behind me, I'm ready for a soft bed, full belly, and lots of love—maybe with you? ADOPTION FEE: $350 (All MVPC dogs are heartworm-tested and on prevention, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate-trained and house-trained) ADOPTER: Dog experience BIRTHDAY: 11/5/2023 FENCE: Required (an electric fence is not an acceptable form of containment) DOG FRIENDLY: Yes DOGS IN HOME: Required CATS: Unknown CHILDREN: Yes, 8 and over I AM READY TO GO HOME - If you are approved to be my new family, a hold fee of $100 is required and will be applied to the full adoption fee of $350 when MVPC comes to visit your house with me! ***WE DO NOT HOLD DOGS. IF YOU ARE GOING ON VACATION OR ARE NOT YET READY TO PROCEED PLEASE APPLY WHEN YOU ARE.*** INQUIRIES: ALL inquiries begin with a submitted adoption application, which is found on our website, www.miamivalleypitcrew.com. We do not adopt to individuals under the age of 25. DO NOT: USE THE PETFINDER CONTACT/ADOPT BUTTONS--we are unable to monitor those and you will not receive a response. PLEASE NOTE: We are volunteer based and a home visit is required; we have a two-hour adoption radius from Kettering, OH for our adult dogs and 75 miles for our puppies. Exceptions for our ADULT dogs only, though rare, may be made on a case-by-case basis but we must be able to do a home visit. Thank you for your understanding! Location: MiamisBurg, OH Food: American Journey Limited Ingredient Lamb & Sweet Potato Recipe Grain-Free Dry Dog Food Medication: NexGard Plus If you're looking for a sweet, gentle girl who would thrive in a cozy home filled with love, attention, and plenty of scratches, Ronnie (Veronica) may be the perfect match for you! Ronnie is a petite, 2½-year-old Exotic Bulldog with a calm, low-energy personality. She does wonderfully with other dogs, children, cats, and adults, and though it may take some time to come out of her shell, she adapts well to most situations. Ronnie would be happy as an only pet or alongside another calm dog who can match her laid-back energy. Throughout the day, she enjoys short bursts of playful energy and loves entertaining herself with her toys or playing fetch. She's still learning what it means to be part of a family, so she'll need a patient adopter willing to help her practice basic commands like come, sit, stay, and lie down. Ronnie loves her crate and is reliably potty trained, with only the occasional accident. Overall, Ronnie is very healthy, though like most bulldogs she can be prone to overheating. She has pretty short legs, so uncarpeted stairs may be difficult for her. She also tends to scrape the nails on her front paws while walking. Because of this, she's best suited for a comfortable indoor lifestyle with supervised playtime on soft surfaces or grass. If you think Ronnie could be a wonderful addition to your family, please fill out an application for her today! ***Adoption Process*** -All current pets in the home need to be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines and on veterinarian prescribed flea/tick/heart worm prevention. -Everyone living in the home, including all resident dogs, must be present at the meet and greet located in the Southwest Ohio area. -We DO NOT ship dogs!!!
