The adopter adopted Arrow and his sister over a year ago and is keeping his sister because she looks less scary then Arrow. Shelby was found in Grenada, Mississippi on the side of the road locked in a crate with an empty bowl and thankfully a volunteer with Charlie’s Crusaders was able to rescue her. Shelby is now being fostered near the Pottstown, PA area and is waiting for her forever home! Shelby loves her two furry brothers at her foster home and loves to play and run around with them. Shelby is good with other dogs. Shelby gets very excited to meet new people and takes a few minutes to settle down. Shelby also loves to cuddle and will make a great companion. This girl right here is why we exist. This girl who exemplifies all the delightful things of Dogs and who has yet to land in a spot perfect for her. Lulu was most likely used for breeding and then discarded like so many other Good Dogs are here in Philly. Left to fend for herself in a park during the coldest week of winter, she somehow survived by scrounging for food scraps and possibly sleeping in an abandoned house. We are still in awe that she survived it all and finally was trapped by our volunteers. One of our friends made space in her basement and we fortunately found a foster the day the basement began to flood from a rainstorm the night before. She was so tired it was difficult to get a good understanding of who she really was at first. Now that some time has gone by and she has received full medical care and found safety with our friends we feel we understand her a bit more. She is a dream cuddler! She has had great dog meets, though we would definitely take things slow. She hasn't met smaller kids but has met an older kid, we think kids over 12 yrs old would be great while we are getting to know her. We definitely need a cat free home for her, she is residing with one now who she isn't doing well with. She loves to hike and has a lot of fun energy. She loves toys and can solve puzzles faster than a toddler. She snores adorably when she sleeps. She is petite and as pretty as they come! She just needs a little finesse, she just needs stability! Lulu urgently needs a committed foster with no cats now! Her current foster says she is a perfect little dog and just needs a cat free home. Fosters get first dibs at adopting! Please, if you have room in your heart and your home, Lulu needs a space to stay a while. Or forever.

This guy is very funny and sweet, and he wants pets and cuddles all the time. (called Bug because he is a love bug!). He did fine with an older dog in foster's home during a weekend together, but had a tense interaction with a cat so they were separated. Bug is very energetic and would do well in a home where he can get lots of walks and attention. He might do well in a home with another dog, as he likes to play. Needs training. He is very strong and pulls on walks. He did jump a low fence once, but did not seem to want to run away, just to smell some things outside the fence. However he did show aggression when trying to get him back inside at first before calmly entering by himself. He also gets into anything left out on counters, etc, including the occasional paperback book. He has lots of love to give and with some training, will be an excellent addition to someone’s home.
