Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. 3/31/24 Homer What a gem! Homer was in a municipal shelter here in Arkansas, where he had run out of time and was in danger of being euthanized. Thanks to a wonderful foster opening their home, we are able to save this sweet boy in the nick of time, and we are so glad we did! Homer may not look fancy, but he makes up for that with his winning personality. He LOVES going to Doggy daycare and playing with all the other dogs there. He is an affectionate dog, but is not demanding at all. He is thankful for any little pat on the head or kind word. He is smart and very receptive to training, so he quickly house, crate, and leash manners. He is not a high energy dog with his humans at all, but when other dogs initiate higher energy play, he's game! Homer recently underwent heartworm treatment and came through it with flying colors! He is now recovered and is ready to find his forever home! We would love to see him go to a home with another dog companion, or a family who will enroll him in a daycare one or two times a week to keep him social. He is not anxious when left alone, so he would do fine with a family that has a regular work schedule out of the home. He is nit a l loud dog and would be OK for apartment or condo dwellers, as long as they can give him proper exercise and stimulation. We are unsure of Homer's breed, but he is about 60 lbs and we believe he is 3 or 4 years old. This website makes us pick a breed to list him as, he is probably a mix of several breeds. We put Boxer mix because a breed ID app listed Boxer as a potential breed. Who knows! He does have one wonky ear which is probably due to an old hematoma that was left untreated or an old injury. It does not seem to bother him at all and there is nothing to be done for it. If you are looking for a chill, sweet natured dog who is content to just keep you company, Homer is your guy! Please consider giving him a forever home, and if you can't do that, please share his post to help him find a good home. Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations. Story
Buddy is the happiest, friendliest, cuddliest guy you'll find anywhere around. He ended up in a local shelter and was running out of time, but thanks to some tireless networking, Buddy ended up in our care. He's a compact guy, weighing in at 46 pounds, and already knows basic commands like sit and paw. He is crate and house trained. Buddy loves other dogs, cats, and kids. He would be a wonderful companion to someone who enjoys being outside for walks and hikes. Buddy has gotten the all-clear at the vet, is ready to travel, and would love to find his forever family very soon. If you're interested in welcoming me or any of my delightful Funny Farm companions into your home, kindly visit ffpets.org. There, you can find information about our Tennessee-based rescue, and gain insights into the adoption process! Buddy's adoption fee is $325, with an additional $200 required for northern transportation if needed. Local transportation can be provided at no cost within 100 miles of Jackson, TN. Please note that at the moment, this adorable pet is in the care of a foster home in Tennessee but will be lovingly transported to your location once the adoption process is successfully completed. For details on meeting locations and transport arrangements, simply click on the "Transport" tab at ffpets.org. Story
This lovely dog had been waiting at the neighborhood animal shelter since June. We couldn't let her stay there any longer, so we pulled her as soon as a foster home became available. She is now enjoying every second of being in foster care! With this girl, you can forget about the puppy stage because she is crate trained and housebroken! She is such a well-rounded young girl who would be a great addition to any home! She is the ideal size and weights about fifty five pounds! We sincerely hope she finds a family of her own soon! She has been fully vetted and is ready to travel! If you're interested in welcoming me or any of my delightful Funny Farm companions into your home, kindly visit ffpets.org. Story
Hi there, I'm Nolan! I'm a fun-loving pup on the hunt for my forever home. I'm eager to explore the world around me, play, and learn how to be a well-behaved canine citizen. I have lots (and I mean LOTS) of energy, and I'm still working on my training and can get a bit over-excited at times - that's why I'm looking for a family who is dedicated to helping me become the best version of myself. My foster mom says that I walk well on a leash and I love to learn so a good student is what I am!Ideally, I'd love to find a home with someone who has experience with dogs and where any children are 13 years or older. I'm also looking for a home where I can be the only dog, as I want to be the center of your world. While I'm not sure how I feel about cats, I promise I'm a sweet pup who just needs a little direction and patience. I am housebroken and crate trained. Once I've had my exercise for the day, I'm also an amazing cuddler and enjoy lounging on the couch. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion, I could be the perfect match for you. So why not give me a chance and let's see if we can become the best of friends!---This dog is available BY APPOINTMENT only as he is living in foster care. ---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. Story
Hi, everypawdy! My name is Grace. I'm a beautiful, loving soul who is looking for a family to call my own. Walks, runs, and hikes are a few of my favorite hobbies. Attention and being pet are necessities as well, of course! A good cuddle at the end of a long day will fill me with joy. My foster family says I'm smart as a whip...I already know how to sit, heel, halt, and more! A good treat and some cuddles are enough to motivate to learn like a pro. I love being near my favorite humans, and playing with my favorite toys. If you want a reason to smile every single day, then I am the pup for your family. If you are interested in adopting Grace, please fill out an adoption application at https://bfp.org/rescue/ and email us with questions: adopt@bfp.org. Location: TULSA, OK

Story
Shiloh has had an unfair start to life. Shiloh was rescued from a an extremely elderly lady who wouldn't keep her in the house because she was afraid the dog would cause her to fall. She kept Shiloh in the back yard all winter, and she started escaping the fencing from loneliness. This resulted in the woman putting her in a metal crate with no bottom or blankets so she could wash it out with a water hose. When Bonnie Lou found out about this, she contacted a rescue who said they would take this lovely girl. So, Bonnie brought her to her own home, inside the house. Then the rescue who is known for this stunt, dumped Shiloh on Bonnie permanently. No story needs to get to be this sad. This pup is adorable and gorgeous to boot. She is full of curiosity, and wants to interact with both people and dogs. GreenePets is doing a courtesy post for Bonnie Lou, and we have the ability to arrange transport to other states, so please someone open your heart to this babydoll.

Story
Meet Dillon. He's a sweet and energetic 3 year old pitbull mix at around 68 lbs. He absolutely loves love and is a huge cuddle bug. In the time we have had him, he has never known a stranger and wants scratches from every person he meets. He loves any chew toy he can get and will chase any ball you throw though he doesn't quite understand the concept of fetching yet. He is still working on his manners but is very quick to please. We think he would be happiest as a solo dog mainly because he wants all of your attention and love. For more information please message Tonya at 870-318-4161 or email t.maloy@yahoo.com Applications at helprescueark.org
