Story
•Name of pet: Nova •Location: Enumclaw, WA •Breed: Pit Bull •DOB: 3/7/2020? •Age: 4-ish •Weight/Size: 92lb -if puppy, projected weight/size: •Gender: female •Vaccine Record/Rabies Vaccine: up to date and available upon request (just done in march) •Spayed/Neutered: yes •Rehoming/Adoption Fee: $200 •Reason for rehoming: see below •Good with kids/ages: great with kids of all ages •Good with other pets/what pets: needs to be an only pet •Extra, helpful info re: pet/personality: she is super sweet and snuggly! When we adopted her from the humane society, they told us she didn’t get along with female dogs, but seems that it’s all dogs. She comes with everything, a new anxiety kennel, food, leash and collar/harness, the works. We love her so so much, we are gone a lot and it doesn’t seem fair to her. Our son is autistic and seems to be having a harder time not constantly being in her face, which we know is also a problem. She does have anxiety but does much better in her new kennel.

Story
Oakley is approximately 1 year old. We rescued her from an elderly person in our town. She is NOT getting along with our 2 small Maltese dogs. We recommend a home with NO small animals of any kind. Oakley is up to date on shots, spayed, and has a microchip. She is crate trained and sleeps well there all night, but she prefers to snuggle in bed with you. She is crate trained and spends time in there when we aren't home with minimal fuss. She is bell trained to go outside to go potty. She is fully potty trained. She loves toys and playing tug. Her favorite thing is balls and playing fetch. She sits and waits for treats and food. She definitely needs more leash training as she often thinks it's a game and wants to bite it. Oakley loves to snuggle! She hasn't been exposed to small children, so I recommend a home with no small children. She definitely will need some more training. Oakley has enjoyed playing with other dogs her size but would do best as an only dog.

Story
Reggie is big derpie guy. He's always wiggling and excited to meet everyone. He's incredibly enthusiastic about life. He is convinced that he can fit in a lap and is always up for a cuddle. Reggie loves people and has enjoyed playing with another extra large dog at the shelter. Reggie can be a lot so he'd do best with a tolerant play mate. If you're looking for a happy-go-lucky dude to hang out with, come to the shelter from 11am-5pm to meet Reggie.

Story
ROMEO is a super affectionate and friendly 9-month-old Staffordshire mix puppy. Romeo is a very loving and super friendly to all. Romeo has puppy energy, but listens well and responds positively to your correction. He loves daily walks and play dates and is truly very good on a leash. Romeo has a very easy-going and happy disposition. He is great with other dogs and enjoys playing. He truly enjoys hanging out with his doggy friends and especially snuggling by your side. Romeo just completed a three-week board and train course where he learned skills in leash walking, all basic commands, including sit, stay, and down. His training also included socialization and lots of playing with other dogs. We love helping Romeo become the best boy he can be! Romeo truly blossomed since his training and now he’s ready to go to his forever home! Romeo has quite a backstory: he was found by a good Samaritan after being tossed out of a car. Thankfully Romeo only received some minor road rash and has completely healed. Despite the rough start to his young life, Romeo is an absolute sweetheart and is patiently waiting for his new, loving, forever family! Romeo would love an active family who can continue his training and Romeo is the perfect small size at just 40 lbs. He is neutered, up-to-date with his vaccinations, and microchipped. To meet this best-ever bully boy, please email cynthia@pawsforliferescue.net and please include your phone number.

Story
Introducing Jackson, or as we like to call him, Jack Teller - a true survivor who has overcome countless obstacles in his journey. Imagine finding him at an intersection, abandoned and scared, anxiously waiting for his owners to return. It breaks your heart, doesn't it? But don't worry, this story has a happy ending. Despite his rough start, Jack Teller has blossomed into a remarkable companion. Like any dog, he was initially wary of new faces, but it didn't take long for him to realize that there are kind-hearted souls out there who only want to shower him with love and affection. And boy, did he surprise us all! Jack Teller turned out to be the friendliest pup around, melting hearts left and right with his warm greetings and wagging tail. He's not just good with people, but dogs too - a true social butterfly! Like many of our Tx dogs he is being treated for heartworms. NOTHING to worry about as this is very common here.  We will provide the medication to continue his treatment.   If you're looking for a hiking buddy or simply a furry friend to join you on leisurely strolls, Jack Teller is your guy. He absolutely loves going on walks and exploring the great outdoors. Plus, he's a pro when it comes to crate training. Talk about an all-around good boy! But here's the best part - this gentle soul is a hidden treasure, waiting to be discovered by the perfect forever family. We believe that every dog deserves a loving home, and Jack Teller is no exception. That's why we make regular trips to the Pacific Northwest, including a special stop in Bellingham, WA, just for our Canadian friends. If you're interested in adopting Jack Teller or want to find out more about him, head over to www.springbranchrescue.org. Don't miss out on the chance to welcome this incredible pup into your life. Trust us, it'll be a decision you won't regret. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future from a city that has an animal crisis.  We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wondering our streets.  So many have been dumped and cannot find their way home.  Many never even had a home and were born on the streets.  WE gave them a chance.  Every animal deserves a chance. We know if adopted by you they will be loved and cared for . We believe in our local and out of state applicants.  There is a reason we drive to the Pacific Northwest every 2 weeks.  You are worth the drive. We have AMAZING adopters and we need more like them.  No matter if you live here in Houston, the Pacific Northwest or Canada we welcome you!  Thank you for considering to adopt and not shop.  If we are in Houston, then how can you see our posts?   Spring Branch Rescue has fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Yes our rescue is in Houston.  Our available animals live with foster families.  This is a win for you as the transition from our home to yours will be a much easier one.  We do have foster homes in your area.  This is why you are able to see our posts.  Unfortunatelly Meet & Greets have been cancelled due to Covid Restrictions.  Almost all our animals traveling have been adopted.  We have been doing this since 2019 and very successful.  Please take a look at our adopters reviews https://greatnonprofits.org/org/spring-branch-rescue ##1714321##

Story
Athen was with us through homelessness living in the woods, to living in a shack, to living in a car finally to living in a house. So we were never able to give him the stability he needed. Now that we have a home for him his separation anxiety won’t allow for him to be home alone and so he spends a great deal of time still in the car while we are working. He has a hard time with strangers in public or home. He recently bit someone who was walking near our car. Didnt draw blood but did break skin. He’s under stimulated and insecure. He needs to be able to stay at home and not have to leave when his people go to work. That means he needs a multi human home where the house is rarely empty and a yard with a fence. He loves other dogs but doesn’t need them, he loves comfy blankets and pillows, he likes rough play and hiking, he needs someone who can manage his energy and handle pushy nature. He is the sweetest, smartest dog I have ever known. Easy to groom, anxious to bathe, full of love
