Sydney is a 4 year old, 54 lbs., female pit bull. She is vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and in excellent health. She is house trained, crate trained, and goes for walks using a gentle leader. She is a good girl who is smart and food motived (which is great for training). She loves chew toys and does best in a calm environment. She would do best in an adult only household as your only pet. She has anxiety which is best addressed with medication (she takes fluoxetine) and by working with a behaviorist. She is a smart dog, who responds well to training. She does not have separation anxiety and does not react to fireworks. Although she is crate trained, she does not need to be crated when she is left at home. We adopted her two years ago from the Tacoma Humane Society and love her, but we have a child and Sydney would do best in an adult-only home with people who want to continue to work with her. She comes with her crate, toys, and other supplies.

He is somewhere between 6 to 7 years old, and was adopted from the Tacoma Humane office society 5 1/2 years ago after being hit by a car he suffered a broken leg and was never claimed. After being adopted from my granddaughter they had to move, they stayed with a friend who had 2 large dogs that daily beat him up... there he learned to fear large dogs soon after they moved from there things were better he loves to go swimming and play tug of war and chase balls. He also became best friends with my dog a West highland terrier Chihuahua mix this is where he learned to play with small dogs as he had play dates with another Chihuahua and two french bulldogs, things were looking good until he took off after doberman across the street two months later it was German shepherd both confrontations ended in little blood shed as we were able to de-escalate the fights. But with nerves wracking he needs to find someone who can spend time

Brandy was adopted by my wife from a foster type of adoption situation. We believe she is around 5 years old and we are unsure of her background outside of what her foster mom told us. She is a quiet girl who matches your energy, if you are a runner she can run for miles without breaking a sweat, if you want to veg out and binge watch a series she will gladly lay right next to you in a puppy ball. She has been the second dog in the house for a little over 2 years now and always did well with the other puppy. Our second child is now on the way with the toddler being 1.5 years old. The toddler is the main source of Brandy's anxiety now that she is extremely curious and chaotic. Brandy has done a good job of just avoiding the baby but we can tell she is stressed out while the baby is around. Fortunately we have not had any incidence but we do worry about it with a second child on the way that this stressful stage will begin again shortly for her. We would like a more relaxed home for her.

We really think other than her wanting to run after rabbits (lol what dog doesn't?) she can be trained to be off leash, as she wants to be right by you. 4/20/21 is her estimated BD ANNIE is a very sweet Pitbull. Super happy loves all humans as if she always knew you. Very very happy dog. She is smart and learns quickly. DOB 4/20/21 is an estimate. . She is about 2 years old and has probably had a couple litters of puppies but she is happy and lovable and strong. The person that originally found her kept her for a couple weeks and was teaching her some of the basic commands and she said she learned quickly. She needs exercise and a strong on the leash she doesn't pull but doesn't seem to yet realize you are on the other end of the leash and sometimes is so happy she wants to do a little zoomie in her exuberance! After she gets her energy out she is so calm loving and affectionate and does good t with other dogs she has met. She will want to sit on your lap LOL if you sit on the floor she just loves people and wants roll in the grass and just be a happy dog. We have had her in a large dog pen with seven other dogs and she gets along great. She currently weighs 50 something lb but is not very tall. She has very dense and strong muscles. Everybody is her friend. She might not be the right match with an alpha female dog. That we aren't sure of. Our guess is we wouldn't trust her with cats. Yes she is spayed, current on all shots, microchipped, etc

This very good boy is a 4-year-old pittie mix. Asher was waiting for TWO years in a Roswell shelter for someone to realize his soulmate potential before we were able to bring him to Washington. Gentle and submissive, Asher was given the responsibility of being a "tester dog" for newly admitted dogs because he is so calm. Asher will need a quiet home to decompress in while he learns that his world is safe and bigger than a kennel. He would thrive with someone who WFH or is retired and has the patience to work with this shy guy. He would also do well with another doggo to show him the ropes. Asher is great on leash, but becomes extremely nervous when anyone approaches. Noises are also scary right now. Asher will need to be crated if left alone, as he doesn't know how to deal with freedom of space yet and doesn't understand that you will be coming back. At first, he slept cuddled in a ball by the door, but is warming up to the idea of the dog bed, and has even come up for bed cuddles with his current foster human! As much as this post breaks my heart we are looking for a new home for Sweet Girl. We adopted her in 2018 and expected to have her for her entire doggy life. She has since gotten aggressive with her dog brothers. She use to love other dogs and going to the dog park although with her old age she has gotten cranky. She absolutely enjoys being around people. She’s the loviest girl ever when it comes to people. I’ve never been someone to re-home a dog. She’s my responsibility and we love her so much. The issue is we have young children and I’m terrified one day she is going to be aggressive towards our other dogs and one of the kids will get in the way. She’s an old lady who needs a retirement home. She’s good on a leash and crate trained. The almost 6 years we’ve had her she has had maybe 2 accidents inside. She’s not a pup who needs to get out her energy. A bed to hang out on and someone to give her belly scratches is all she really needs.
