Sydney is a 4 year old, 54 lbs., female pit bull. She is vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and in excellent health. She is house trained, crate trained, and goes for walks using a gentle leader. She is a good girl who is smart and food motived (which is great for training). She loves chew toys and does best in a calm environment. She would do best in an adult only household as your only pet. She has anxiety which is best addressed with medication (she takes fluoxetine) and by working with a behaviorist. She is a smart dog, who responds well to training. She does not have separation anxiety and does not react to fireworks. Although she is crate trained, she does not need to be crated when she is left at home. We adopted her two years ago from the Tacoma Humane Society and love her, but we have a child and Sydney would do best in an adult-only home with people who want to continue to work with her. She comes with her crate, toys, and other supplies.

Hello everyone...my granddaughters dog Zolo needs a new home. He is somewhere between 6 to 7 years old, and was adopted from the Tacoma Humane office society 5 1/2 years ago after being hit by a car he suffered a broken leg and was never claimed. After being adopted from my granddaughter they had to move, they stayed with a friend who had 2 large dogs that daily beat him up... there he learned to fear large dogs soon after they moved from there things were better he loves to go swimming and play tug of war and chase balls. He also became best friends with my dog a West highland terrier Chihuahua mix this is where he learned to play with small dogs as he had play dates with another Chihuahua and two french bulldogs, things were looking good until he took off after doberman across the street two months later it was German shepherd both confrontations ended in little blood shed as we were able to de-escalate the fights. But with nerves wracking he needs to find someone who can spend time
