Story
-Camo comes with 3 beds -A Large Kennel -Toys -Milk Bone -Collar and Leash -Up to date with shots Camo is an amazing dog. We have had him since a pup. He is 6yrs old as of October 2nd. He gets along with EVERYONE. He's been treated bad by other dogs he's attempted to play with. The vet told us its possibly because he hasn't been neutered and dogs smell the testosterone on him. Those situations have created him to be cautious of dogs his size. He gets along with all people but his favorite people are kids. The only people he has bitten are my wife and myself. Lol. I used to play pretty rough with him and I was ok with the bites until my wife got bit, we chilled out. He never bit any kids. He only gets excited and wags his tail super wild around kids. He understands key words, so if you say a sentence with certain words, he will understand what you're saying. It makes me sad to give him away but we are going through a divorce and neither of us will be able to take care of him.

Story
Meet Simon, a Baja rescue dog with a great story! Simon was rescued after being hit by a car in La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico. He had lost the use of his back legs, but was still smiling his happy smile at everyone he met! Thanks to great vet care, physical therapy and loving fosters, Simon has regained the use of his legs and now runs around happily playing and greeting everyone he meets. The vet believes the collision caused temporary paralysis which is now resolved. Simon is a big goofball who loves to play, gets along with other dogs, is housebroken, loves people and has loads of personality. He will do well in a home that can get him plenty of exercise and playtime. He is still very much a puppy at heart and still learning his manners, but walks well on leash and has learned to Sit for treats! Simon would do well in an active home where he can get the exercise he needs, probably not with small children or cats, but he gets along well with female dogs. Simon is fully vaccinated, sterilized, healthy and ready to find his forever humans! Simon is currently being fostered in La Paz, BCS, but is available for video meet and greets and can be transported anywhere on the US West Coast or Canada. Be sure to watch the video below of Simon to get a feel for his goofy personality!

If you experience any issues filling out the application you can contact us directly at shaynerescue@gmail.com. This is ONLY if you have problems applying. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting. All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog. HOW ABOUT FOSTERING! If you are not in the position to afford a puppy/dog but still want to be an important factor in dog rescue, we recommend fostering. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees while saving a life and enjoying the love of a canine companion. We are always in need of good fosters. You can sign up to foster at this link: https://shaynesrescue.com/foster-application/ This is a post on behalf of Pet Central SATX Rescue, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.

Story
Alfy is a 2 year old American Pitbull Terrier mix. He is up to date on vaccines, neutered, house trained, and full of love and cuddles. Alfy enjoys going on long walks (or runs), tug-a-war, car rides, and doing pretty much anything his owners are doing. He is great with children and all humans, unknown with cats, and for the most part good with dogs but can be aggressive when it comes to food and toys. I'd recommend him being the only dog in the home. Alfy is a curious and smart dog. He's a quick learner but does need additional training. His current owner is working on crate training, and would recommend crating when unattended, since he may start chewing. His current owner has another dog in the house and has found that both dogs would be better in only dog homes, and is looking for a safe, loving home where Alfy can thrive.
