We must have an application to move forward.
JERSEY is approximately 1-1.5 yrs old and weighs 55#. She came to us with a litter of 12 puppies that were only about 3 weeks old!!! The story is that the gentleman that brought her to us was in the country and down the street he observed an SUV pull over; place a large black trash bag out on the side of the road and then kick mama dog out and took off. He stopped and opened the bag and there were 12 puppies about 3 weeks old!!! Surprisingly all in good condition. He brought the whole bunch to us.
We placed them in our house in an area to the side but not isolated. She got along with ALL of our dogs and had no problems with having all these strange dogs so close to her puppies. She took good care of them and they all lived... very unusual for such a large litter. She worked her way into our routine of the dogs going outside to potty in the back yard so she we could tell she was house trained. She would come in when called and didn't get into any trouble. Her only fault is that she will go after cats...other than that, she really is a perfect dog. She has the sweetest, loving personality. She loves "treat" time and begs with her big brown eyes. She will stay in a confined area or kennel without any struggle or sound. She has not shown ANY aggressiveness of any kind...even though she is Pit Bull. She will make a great companion and the Pit Bull appearance makes her a good guard dog (even though I think she'd probably let the burglar in :).
This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. You can ask us about how pre-adoption works and our "trial period."

After we review your application, we will contact you, and you'll have the opportunity to find out more from their foster family or the rescue. If you experience any issues filling out the application you can contact us directly at shaynerescue@gmail.com. This is ONLY if you have problems applying. Adoption Fees
The adoption fee includes transportation to WA/OR. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting.
All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog.
HOW ABOUT FOSTERING! If you are not in the position to afford a puppy/dog but still want to be an important factor in dog rescue, we recommend fostering. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees while saving a life and enjoying the love of a canine companion. We are always in need of good fosters.
