Story
Meet Case — a resilient, playful boy ready for his forever home Case is a 15-month-old, petite pittie/boxer mix weighing about 38 lbs who truly beat the odds. He was pulled from the euthanasia list in Modesto, CA and tagged for rescue the night before his scheduled euthanasia. After patiently waiting several days for transport, Case made his journey to Washington and is now safe in a local home, waiting for a family to call his own. Case is a social, people-loving dog who enjoys being close to his humans. He loves cuddles, likes to follow his people around, and has an endearing habit of tossing his blanket into the air and letting it fall over his body when he’s ready to get cozy. He thrives on connection and does best when he’s included in daily life. With other dogs, Case is enthusiastic and playful. He loves dogs, but sometimes his excitement gets the best of him and he can play a bit rough. Because of this, he would do best in a home with a confident, playful dog—ideally larger than him—who can match his energy and enjoys rowdy, physical play. He’s still learning appropriate play manners and continues to improve with structure and guidance. Case is also obsessed with his ball and happily entertains himself with fetch and playtime. He is neutered, fully vetted, microchipped, heartworm negative, and almost fully potty trained. He is not a good fit for a home with cats, as he enjoys chasing. Case survived against all odds and is ready for the stability, patience, and love of a committed home. With the right match—people who understand playful young dogs and can provide consistency—Case has all the makings of a loyal, fun-loving companion. If you’re looking for a dog who will play hard, cuddle harder, and be deeply devoted to his people, Case may be your perfect match. Adoption fee $500 www.northwestwagrescue.org ##2574302##

Story
Fred and Georgia were rescued from a shelter in Roswell, NM. They originally had an adoptive family lined up, so they stayed behind when their siblings—Ricky and Violet—traveled to the PNW. Unfortunately, that family backed out, leaving these two still searching for their chance. We’d love to help them find it. Both Fred and Georgia are potty trained and do great in their kitchen kennel (they only have accidents if left too long). They were also cat-tested and did well—just curious, with no signs of aggression. They love spending time outdoors and are surprisingly calm for 6-month-old pups. Their routine is simple: they come inside around 7pm and head back out around 6am. They’re adorable together but also live and interact comfortably with many other dogs, including small dogs. Fred is a total couch buddy who loves to hang out right by your side, while Georgia is more independent by nature. They are fully vetted, fixed, and have spent time around school-age children with great success. Fred and Georgia can be fostered or adopted together or separately. They are still in New Mexico, waiting for a foster or trial family in WA so they can make the trek to the Pacific Northwest and finally begin their new chapter. Adoption fee $500 or $900 for adoption of Fred and Georgia www.northwestwagrescue.org ##2581523##

Story
My dog, Santi, is a good family dog. We have had him him since he was a puppy ,but the main owner has left to college since last year. We have tried to keep him but my household now has 2 babies under 1 and two teenagers with busy band schedules not being able to help care for him anymore. He gets nervous and protective around strangers and will bark until familiar with you. He is a good watch dog at nights. He has a lot of energy loved to play with his college kid. He is good with 1 year old Hes good with my 2 cats it’s the cats that are not nice to him. He had a Yorkie that was his companion but he was rehomed quickly. Santi has been pretty lonely since he’s been gone. He was very good with the yorkie as funny as it sounds the yorkie was the one in charge. Santi is really sweet and loving once you meet him and he’s used to you. We love him and we would love to see him go to a family where he will be loved and cared for as he was cared and loved when his owner was home.
