Baritone loves being around older cats. He loves balls, catnip rope, and climbing and jumping up in high places. Tall cat trees and cat shelves are his favorite places to climb. He’s very vocal when he wants something or your attention.

Story
Gouda is basically a giant, purring Cheeto with legs, and she fully intends to crunch her way right into your heart. This sweet orange girl is the definition of cuddly: if she can curl up on you, beside you, or vaguely near you, she considers it a successful day. She’s living her best life in a foster home right now, charming everyone with her soft snuggles, tiny chirps, and “I’m cute, feed me” stare that works every single time. Gouda is ready to trade her foster digs for a forever home where she can be your warm, toasty little sidekick. Her adoption fee is $150 and covers age-appropriate vaccines, spay, microchip, and parasite prevention. If you’ve ever wanted your very own sentient cheese puff, this is your girl. Story
Meet Angel! She’s the cutest little cat you’ll ever meet. She was abandoned by her owners - they did not reply when the vet reached out after using her microchip information. She can be a bit feisty, but that’s only because she needs to know she can trust you. I’ve spent a lot of time with her, and she is super cuddly and affectionate with me. She’ll follow you around, ask for head pets and loves playing with crinkly catnip toys. I’m not sure how old she is, but she might be around 7. She needs someone who is patient and willing to gain her trust, and she needs a forever home. If you’re not 100% committed to putting some work into gaining her trust, she is not the cat for you, but once she trusts you she’s the sweetest cat. She is also scared in new environments but once she feels safe her true personality will come to light. The only reason I am giving her up is because I cannot have her under my lease provisions, even after talking to my landlord.

Story
Our rescue is based out of Pikesville, Maryland!  We typically do not adopt more than 45 minutes away from Pikesville, so please bear that in mind before you apply/get too attached. Zoey is a cute little tuxedo who was born in the Spring of 2025, making him about 8 or 9 months old. He showed up at his foster mom's house and followed his friend Rusty inside. He currently enjoys going in and out of the house, and is very playful as a kitten should be. Zoey is very scared around new people and in new places, so he needs a very experienced and patient family who is willing to work with him and give him the time he needs to adjust. Fortunately for him, he is a real cutie.  Zoey's foster mom/finder is a wheelchair bound senior citizen, and she worries that Zoey will outlive her. By adopting Zoey, either as a companion animal or as a mouser, you will not only be helping him but setting her mind at ease. Zoey needs to go to a home with other cats. There is no adoption fee for Zoey due to his excessively shy nature. Needs Must Cats will have received full vetting including spay or neuter, FIV/FLV testing, microchip, and treatment for parasites by time of adoption. The adoption fee in the amount below helps us assist more cats and kittens in urgent need. These fees do not even begin to cover our expenses so please consider making an additional donate to support our life-saving efforts! Special Needs or Barn Cat - Donation Adult Cat - $90 Kitten under 6 months - $150 Pair of Kittens - $275 Please feel free to contact us by email with any questions, or submit your application here: http://www.needsmust.org/adopt December 6, 2025, 5:15 am

Story
Our rescue is based out of Pikesville, Maryland!  We typically do not adopt more than 45 minutes away from Pikesville, so please bear that in mind before you apply/get too attached. Junior is a very sweet and easygoing kitty who was having a hard time on the streets. We think he's around three or four years old and he is just the most loving and affectionate little guy with the LOUDEST purr ever. He wants nothing more than human attention and affection, and although he does hiss at other cats so far, there's no fighting.   Junior is FIV+ which means he may have more difficulty fighting off illness and infections. He will most likely have a normal lifespan, but regular veterinary exams will be of particular importance in his case.    He's a big teddy bear of a boy with the most handsome face, most enthusiastic purr, and who just loves, loves, and loves!   If you want a great kitty companion, Junior would be a perfect fit.   Junior was neutered a little over a year ago by a good Samaritan. He's fully de-wormed, defleaed, microchipped, and he tested negative for Feline Leukemia.   Junior is a foster-to-adopt as he has other medical care in progress. I took him about three weeks ago because he had persistent URI symptoms. However, after his symptoms didn't budge from antibiotics and antivirals, we don't think he's actually sick and are scheduling for him to be checked for polyps. He also needs a tooth out. All this will be taken care of before any adoption is finalized. Needs Must Cats will have received full vetting including spay or neuter, FIV/FLV testing, microchip, and treatment for parasites by time of adoption.
