Story
Meet Sir Snugglesworth, a kitten with a royal title and a heart full of love. This little fellow is sweet as sugar, always ready to share his warmth with anyone who crosses his path. His affectionate personality is what got him his name! His playful nature is contagious, making every moment an adventure. He's not just about play though; he loves to cuddle up and share a cozy moment. His curiosity is endearing, always exploring and learning about his surroundings. Affectionate and social, he's the perfect companion. Sir Snuggs loves playing with his foster sister and brother. He would need a home with another playful and friendly cat friend. He spends a lot of time with his foster sister Wylie, he would love to be adopted with her! Being a polydactyl, he has extra toes to hold onto his toys! Sir Snugglesworth is waiting for a home where he can share his love, playfulness, and curiosity. Adopt him and experience the joy of his companionship. Sir Snugglesworth is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting him, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org. Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

Story
Mini is a sweet cat who loves to play. She is almost entirely black with some white patches on her tummy, can often be found lounging next to a sunny window and chasing her tail. She loves cheek rubs, playing, and following her human around the house. I wish I could keep her, but I need to move and cannot bring her with me. I have her original adoption paperwork including vaccination history. She is neutered and chipped. Accessories available for free with adoption

Story
I got Bonnie in 2021 and have been with her since. Shes a sweet cat that loves attention. She can be a bit rough when playing but if you give her a little kick toy she'll be okay. She's about 3-4 years old and needs more attention than I can give her. I moved in with my gf and she has 4 other cats. Bonnie has not got along with them and it's been a year without her getting any better. Id just like her to be with a family that can give her the love and attention she deserves instead of being locked in a room all day. She's feisty and sassy all the time. Very chatty as well! She loves climbing around and exploring once she gets comfortable. She can be skiddish at first and definitely will try to scratch EVERYTHING.

Story
4 1/2 years old. Very cuddly, good with people, very outgoing, loves to play, good mouse catcher lol, loves being outdoors (have trained him to listen fairly well and come back on command/never strays too far from the fence but is not leash trained). Does have a problem with liking to chew things (soft fabric/materials in specific) so would need to make sure to keep cared about items out of reach

Story
I brought Maverick into my home from a coworker at the nursing home I worked at 9 years ago. They had a cat that had kittens and I wanted to give him a home. 2.5 years ago I got married. Homes and animals were combined 4 months ago and my spouses cat came into the mix. My dog, one of my cats and my husbands cat all get along. Maverick has put up a lot of resistance towards the 3rd cat. We tried things like pheromone diffusers and gave them all some time. The two cats are just not getting along. They want to attack each other unless separated. Maverick has a very pleasant disposition and is very lovey. He likes to sit on your lap and snuggle, but also has his moments of solidarity. I need to find a home with no other cats for his sake. The strain on the relationship from fighting cats is just too much.

Story
Jiji is a fixed, male. He is 2 years old. 11 lbs. I am having to rehome him due to a divorce. I’m moving in with my grandparents, who are allergic. Jiji is due for his vaccines, so his adoption rate is a $0. Jiji is energetic, lovable, and vocal. He is good with kids. I have 2 kids, under 10. One has autism. Jiji loves them both. He is a cuddler, but on his own time. He hates his nails being trimmed. He did pretty well at receiving a bath! He loves the blow dryer. He hangs out by us every time I dry my daughter’s hair. Jiji would be best as an only pet. I had a second cat with him. That cat was rehomed to another home. But Jiji would try to dominate her, jumping on her back and biting her neck. We tried everything and this never got better. A couple behavior quirks to note. He will run outside if he gets the chance. He won’t come back unless you catch him. He will go after food if it’s on the table/counter, but we trained him to stay out of the pantry. He is a play biter.
