Story
Coco is a male cat who's 4 years old. He lives with his sister cat, Chloe in an apartment since they were kittens. I received both cats from a friend who's cat had a litter of kittens. He's very loving, loves to play with his sister and cuddle with his owner. He likes being held and eating. I unfortunately have to rehome him and his sister due to my new landlord not accepting pets. I would love to be able to rehome He and his sister together for no extra cost.

Story
Meet Tuxedo 🤍🖤 Tuxedo is a handsome black-and-white gentleman of about 10 years old with the classic tux markings that make him look permanently dressed for a formal event. But behind that dignified appearance is one of the sweetest hearts you’ll ever meet. This wonderful boy absolutely loves affection. He purrs the moment you start petting him and leans into your hand like he’s been waiting all day just for that moment. He’s gentle, loving, and thrives on human companionship. Tuxedo is neutered and does great with other cats, making him a perfect addition to a multi-cat home. He carries himself with the calm confidence of a mature male cat, but still has plenty of warmth and personality to share. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will greet you with soft purrs, quiet love, and steady presence, Tuxedo is ready to be your faithful friend. He’s not just a good cat — he’s a great one.

Story
We love Nutella. We’ve had him since he was a few weeks old and he turned 15 earlier this past year. Although he’s a little rough around the edges, he can be very sweet and loves being around us and sleeping on our feet at night. Although we’ve had him for so long, unfortunately we have a young baby now and his life has changed significantly. We can’t let him upstairs during the night time so for half the day he has to be in the basement alone. The winter has been tough as he’s had to be inside all the time and when the summer comes and it’s too hot the same. He’s a good cat but we’ve had to put him to the side because of our young baby and busy schedules, due to this he’s had some issues spraying, which he never had before. We want him to go to a good home where he can roam free without the many restrictions he has here so he can enjoy whatever time he has left. Of note last year he dealt with some diarrhea and diabetes diagnosis but he’s since lost weight and the problem resolved.

Story
Luna is a playful cat that loves pets and toys. She loves attention but also loves her own space. She loves corn on the cob and loves water in cups. Her favorite treat is tuna. Luna loves the tuna. Her favorite spot is a cardboard box. She was abandoned along with an older cat so we took them both in. She was about 3 months old when we got her and now is 3 years old.

Story
Chloe and Eddie's Story/Official Up for Adoption post Life on the streets is never easy and even with a caretaker providing food, Chloe faced harsh circumstances. She had recently given birth to a litter of kittens, although we will never know how many there originally were as there was only one surviving kitten. Eddie, only a few weeks old was being kept under a wheel barrow to protect him from the elements and a tomcat that wanted nothing more than to rid Chloe of her kittens to get her in heat again. This tomcat was obsessive, constantly stalking Chloe's every move and watching to get at Eddie. Thankfully, the caretaker realized help was needed and contacted BKR for help. Jen immediately jumped into action, grabbing supplies to secure Chloe and Eddie and get them safely inside. After a couple of days, enduring the harsh temps of Michigan winter, Jen had both kitties safe inside the caretaker's house. Unbeknownst to anyone, Chloe had already become pregnant again and as Eddie grew, so did Chloe's belly. Chloe gave birth to 6 new babies, but one was stillborn. Over the next couple months, everything went well. Kitties were happy and healthy and it was time for vetting and going up for adoption. With almost no notice, we were told the caretakers were going out of town and that they planned on taking all the kitties to the shelter. This broke our hearts as we scrambled, trying to figure out a plan. Chloe was taken to the shelter, ripped away from her babies and the comfort and safety of a home she had become accustomed to in the past 6 months. She was stressed and reactive which led to her being labeled as feral and they decided to TNR her. A couple days later, they took the kittens to the shelter. Had we been able to get a foster home on such short notice, we truly wanted to save them all from having to go to a shelter, but time wasn't on our side. Jen adopted Eddie to get him out and we were able to get Chloe before caretakers released her back to the streets. Originally, there was an adopter for both once kitties were settled, but Chloe had regressed and Eddie had become very sick and a few days later, Chloe developed the same symptoms. Both kitties were taken to Leslie's house where Jen and Leslie took turns caring for them, ensuring they ate, got their meds and anything else they needed. With both doing much better physically and mentally, we are now reaching out to find Chloe and Eddie a safe haven for the rest of their lives. We would love to keep them together as they have been through so much together and are comforted in each other's presence. Please share and help us find a home for these two wonderful and deserving kitties. If interested in adopting, you can reach out through messenger or email at bloomfieldkittyrescue@gmail.com.
