Story
Three years ago, we found Goldy wandering around our yard. He was very skinny, and looked to be a young, not full grown cat. We fed him and he quickly attached to us. He is very friendly and affectionate. When no one in the neighborhood claimed him, we took him in. I am very attached to Goldy. He is also very attached to my wife. He is a fun, active cat. Very playful and gentle. Unfortunately we have to move into senior housing due to health problems. We can only take two cats and we are taking our two older cats. We feel that Goldy is more likely to attract someone looking for a cat. He is a wonderful cat and we will miss him terribly, but we have no choice but to put him up for adoption. I know whoever adopts him will love him as much as we do. One note. Goldy hasn’t fit in with our older cats. He is very active and playful. They are old and grouchy toward young cats. I suspect he would be fine with younger cats.

Story
I found this cat outside in the backyard. I could tell he was hungry, but more importantly, he was looking for a place to belong. I brought him indoors after cleaning him up and getting him checked out by the vet. He is very very very active...partly because he is still so young, however, the older cat that's already in the home is stressed by all the playfulness. Its been a learning curve for sure. The little one has been using the bathroom in the plants, but gradually learned to use the litter box. This cat is always on fast mode, while the rest of us are in slow motion. I believe he would do really well in a home with small children who can interact with him more.....or a home where he is the only pet so that he can get that undivided attention he needs. He can be very sweet, just a little to on the go for me. I feel bad for not giving attention to the other cat in the home. It is to the point where the older one does not want to come near me.

Story
her name is Hazel. She was born outside May 7, 2024 we found her that day and had her ever since she has had kittens before, but she is fixed now she poops in the litter box, but she pees on the floor that’s why we cannot keep her she’s not really a peoples person. She doesn’t like to be picked up. She likes to stay to herself basically, she only comes around when it’s time for her to get a can rather than that you don’t see her much. I really do love her. I just can’t keep her

Story
Hello! Meet Bob! She loves to cuddle, get rubs and a good ol nap in a shoe. She’s 6 years old, born April 2020, I received her from an old school buddy as a kitten. Bob is wonderful with children and would soon become besties with other cats given the time to warmup. Bobbie eats about a cup of dry food and one can of wet food daily, not a fan of “chicken” flavored wet cat food but loves Sam’s Club rotisserie. Favorite “toys” includes scrunchies/hair ties, paper/plastic bags and of course boxes. She will forever hold a special place in my heart but due to my own health issues I unfortunately need to rehome my sweet baby. I’m praying she’s welcomed into a new forever home. Thank you! ☺️Comes with a month supply of wet food (Fancy Feast Not Pate), 6m supply of dry (Hill Science Diet). Auto feeder, stainless steel litter box, litter, tent for outside playtime and a couple of her favorite scrunchies!

Story
Age: 4 Years Good with dogs? No Good with cats? No Good with kids? Yes Energy Level: Moderate Adoption Fee: $75 Any other info: Meet The Fiend. She may have a name that sounds fierce, and don't get us wrong, she certainly lives up to her name, but she hides a heart that just wants to feel safe and adored. This absolutely stunning black beauty was rescued from the streets after trying to survive on her own but unfortunately didn't get along with the other house cats and has found herself in the shelter. We may never know what she experienced out there, but it’s clear she learned she had to look out for herself which may be why she prefers not to share her space with other animals. Shelter life has been a big adjustment, and she’s still understandably a bit on guard while she figures things out. But here’s what we do know: in a home where she feels secure, The Fiend shows her true colors, affectionate, friendly, and deeply people oriented. Her previous family shared that she did well with kids and loved attention once she trusted her humans. She wants connection just on her own terms and without competing paws nearby. She is around 4 years old, spayed, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and triple tested negative for FIV, FelV, and Heartworm disease. The Fiend is searching for a calm, loving home where she can be the one and only pet,.the queen of the castle, the center of your world, and the receiver of all the chin scratches, cozy spots, and tasty treats. Give her a little patience and reassurance, and you’ll gain a loyal, loving companion with movie star looks and a soft, grateful heart. Can you be the safe place she’s been waiting for? Don't make her wait any longer than she already has, apply today through the link below. https://serenityanimalhospital.net/cat-adoption-application/ Once your application has been processed, our adoptions team will reach out to schedule an in person meet and greet. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our adoption fee includes the pets spay or neuter, microchip, up to date vaccines, FelV/FIV/Heartworm test and fecal check.
