Story
Please meet Jack, a 8 yr old very sweet, handsome little boy, looking for his forever home. Jack is up to date on all vaccines, heartworm negative, on preventative, is neutered and microchipped. Jack seems to prefer female Dogs, so a home with females or no other dog may be best and no cats please. Jack really needs a Foster home where he can be taught appropriate greeting behaviour with new people. Jack is very sweet but seems to think wrapping himself around someone's leg and holding on is the way to be affectionate, after he gets to know someone he stops that, but being this way sadly will completely hinder any adoption prospects. If you are interested in fostering or providing a forever home for our sweet Jack, please click HERE to download our Adoption Application. Please save it to your PC with your name as the title, and e-mail the saved document to: terry4553@verizon.net If you have questions about how the adoption process works, we do have our adoption process located below which we feel will answer all your questions. If after submitting your application and reading our process, you still have questions, please email Terry at terry4553@verizon.net Thank you. Please know we do not allow meetings with our dogs until we have received your adoption application. Our coverage is limited to: MD, DE and the Southeastern parts of PA, NJ

Story
Meet Bella – Your New Best Friend! Bella has been waiting far too long for her happily ever after—can you be the one to give her the loving home she deserves? This sweet, playful 4-year-old had a rough start living for over a year in the local shelter and now with her current Fairy Tails Rescue foster home for two and a half years. She’s ready to start a new adventure with a family to call her own! Bella is an energetic, lovable girl who adores playing ball and snuggling up with people, especially kids. Bella’s big bark might initially sound intimidating, but it’s just her way of saying hello—once she gets to know you, she melts into a sweet, affectionate companion who just wants to be loved. After settling, Bella is the poster child of the term “house hippo”. She loves to lounge in the house and the yard just watching the world go by. She is very motivated and will do most anything for a treat. Bella does well with other dogs when introduced slowly and would thrive in a calm, patient home where she can settle in at her own pace. She’s not destructive and can be trusted to roam the house freely, but she’s also happy to hang out in her crate if needed. This cutie has so much love to give and is eager to please, she just needs someone willing to give her a chance. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and devoted best friend, Bella is the girl for you! She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and is ready to go home. Bella’s adoption fee has been covered by a generous donor who wants to see her find the best home for her to settle into the good life.   Ready to meet your new best friend? Click the link below to complete an application and give Bella the forever family she’s been waiting for! Please share to help Bella find her family—she deserves a happy ending! https://form.jotform.com/fairytailsrescuemd/dogpuppy-adoption-applicationd  September 17, 2025, 1:49 pm

Story
Athena is a 4-year-old gentle giant with a heart just as big as her paws. This sweet, affectionate girl has spent much of her young life being a devoted mama to several litters of puppies, and now it’s finally her turn to be the one spoiled and adored. Athena loves the company of other dogs and thrives on companionship. She doesn’t quite realize her size, so she’d do best with canine friends closer to her own stature who can keep up with her playful energy. Story
Rose is a fun-loving, people-adoring girl who believes attention is one of life’s greatest joys. She’s always up for a game of tug-of-war or fetch, and once playtime is over, she’s happiest curled up next to her favorite humans on the couch for snuggles. Rose absolutely loves other dogs and enjoys playing with canine friends, but she’s still learning how to read social cues. She would do best with a confident, well-matched dog who isn’t afraid to tell her when it’s time to take a break. She’s enthusiastic and playful, just needs a buddy who can keep up and set clear boundaries. This smart girl is crate trained and potty trained, and she does great in her crate from 10pm–5am and 8am–4pm with no issues. With continued structure, she’ll likely be able to enjoy more freedom in her forever home. She can be a little jumpy when she’s excited for attention, but she’s already working on her manners and making progress. Rose has done well with kids she’s met — loving, friendly, and happy to soak up affection. She has also previously lived in a foster home with cats. As with any transition, slow introductions are always recommended. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate pup who’s ready to be your adventure buddy and your cuddle partner, Rose may be the perfect match ---------------------- ADOPTION PROCESS 1. Story
We adopted Maizy in August, she is 3 but everyone is surprised because she acts like a one year old, she is very puppyish and outgoing. I fell and injured my knee, and we are struggling to keep up with two long walks every day with her, and it’s clear she needs more activity in her life. She is very affectionate, and is really good with commands most of the time. She knows sit, she is working on drop it, she has learned to sit before crossing the street and remembers to do it on her own about half the time. We are working with “ok” as a release word before she is allowed to go out the front door or get up and cross the street. She plays well with other dogs, can be a little rough but does great at daycare. She had a minor allergy in the fall and would get red, swollen eyes, but daily Benadryl controlled it with no issues.

Story
Goober is a happy, handsome boy looking for a loving forever home after being rescued. He’s the total package — house-trained, crate-trained, and already knows basic commands. Friendly with kids, strangers, and other large dogs, Goober makes fast friends everywhere he goes. In fact, he’s a neighborhood superstar! This 70-pound sweetheart loves to lounge most of the day but has an adorable case of the zoomies around 3 PM. He’s great at playing fetch, especially with his football, and enjoys exploring the outdoors. Goober is respectful with food and toys, letting you take a bone right from his mouth without issue. He’s also good with baths and happy to soak up attention. Goober does have some allergies, but they are managed with medication. He has a high prey drive, so he cannot live with small dogs, cats, chickens, or other small animals. He would do best in a home with dogs his size or larger. While he’s a very strong boy now that he’s healthy, Goober is eager to learn. He will need continued leash training (he’s a powerful puller when excited!) but is responsive and willing to please. If you’re ready to welcome a big-hearted, goofy, loving dog into your life, Goober is your guy! Ready to meet Goober? Fill out an adoption application today — he can't wait to find his forever family!
