Story
Vannah is a wild wonderful wiggly bundle of energy, looking for the right person to direct her toward new adventures. She is also loyal and loving and adores new people. She was rescued from the streets of Savannah Ga at Christmas so now probably a bit over 1 year old. She is spayed, house broken, crate trained, microchipped, and up to date on all her puppy shots. She was very thin when we found her and exhibited some resource guarding behaviors (which have improved greatly). We’ve still been feeding her puppy food trying to get her to fill out and she’s now around 44 lbs. She is incredibly athletic and very eager to learn. She has completed a three week professional puppy board and train program and is ready to practice her skills. She has intense focus and strong drive; would be ideal for dog sports or obedience competitions with the right human partner. It takes a lot to tire her out but she does love a good snuggle at days end. She and our current dog do not get along.

We advise that adopters do not send payment or deposits for pets prior to adopting.  ***** REHOME OR TEMPORARY FOSTER NEED FOR APPROXIMATELY 3 MONTHS.   Snooki is 5 years old and weighs 60lbs.  She is spayed, is up to date on her vaccines, and is microchipped.  Snooki has skin allergies for which they administer vitamins.  Snooki knows how to shake/paw, lay down, go to bed, come, kisses on command, go out and slow down.  "Snooki is a people person; she loves meeting new people and loves belly scratches from whoever will give her some.  Snooki loves going for car rides.  She gets excited as soon as you ask her.  However, she doesn't like loud noises and hates the rain." Snooki's guardian states why she needs to rehome her or go to temporary foster:  "I am gonna be staying with my parents for 3 months to get on my feet and start a new job and find a new home near them and they won't allow me to bring my dog.  They already have 2 other dogs and do not want another dog or another dog their dogs don't know or can get along with.  I would love to keep her.  I just need to find a job and a new home and I would love to have her stay with me the rest of my life.  She is a part of our family and she is so loved and we are devastated that we have to let her go.  So if there is a way we can just have someone foster her for 3 months we would be so grateful." Lunge/Attack incident:  Approximately 2 years ago in Delaware, Snooki got into a fight with her canine cousin; skin was not broken, animal control was not involved, and medical attention was not necessary.  Snooki's guardian further states:   "My cousin has another dog and they got into a fight. Snooki has been around other dogs since and I haven't had any issues since I've owned her." Snooki lives/has lived with children, ages 8, 16, and 17; since she's a people person and loves new people, her guardian recommends her living with children.   Snooki "...has been okay since living with me.  She gets curious and when other dogs act scared she thinks they wanna play."  Therefore, Snooki's guardian doesn't recommend her living with dogs. Snooki hasn't been around cats, so her guardian doesn't recommend her living with cats. Snooki's ideal future home (permanent) or foster will be one with a "...fenced yard for her to go and investigate and sniff around." Owners have enlisted Rescue Well to provide marketing and screening of applicants as a service, free of charge. All fees and adoption conditions are determined by the owner. We advise that adopters do not send payment or deposits for pets prior to adopting.  ***** Bunny is 3yo, weighs 28lbs, is spayed, is up to date on her vaccines, and is microchipped.  Bunny and her feline brother, Pinball, are best friends; they play and cuddle each other and love to go for car rides together.  "Bunny is a very sweet dog!  She loves to cuddle with her brother and play tug and chew bones.  She loves peanut butter and nylabones and squishmallows.  During the winter she likes to curl up next to the heater and burrow under the blankets, and in the summer she likes to lay out in the sun and play in the grass.  She loves to say hi to all our neighbors and she LOVES kids.  She is fully grown at 28lbs.... and a fan favorite at the vet too.  All she needs is a lick mat with some cheese!  She knows basic commands but she is terrible on the leash and has not yet learned recall.  She is very food motivated but she is also very stubborn and has been difficult to train.  She dislikes and/or fears men, dogs, plastic bags, bikes, clickers, squeaky toys, baths, the vacuum, thunderstorms, and being left alone longer than 1 hour."   Bunny's guardian states the reason she has made the difficult decision to rehome her: "Behavioral issues related to very bad reactivity and dog aggression, as well as a bad habit of peeing and pooping in her crate. I was not aware of this when I adopted her and if I had been I would not have adopted her. She could get better with dog training but we have seen multiple dog trainers, who all say the same thing. That it will take a very long time and a lot of money which I do not have."   LUNGE INCIDENT:  "T here has only been one incident of note which I can report where she lunged at a dog who came up to her off leash, and attempted to pin it. I was able to quickly separate them and the entire incident lasted less than 5 seconds. It is a neighbors dog and we decided not to report it as it was very minor and there was no injury to either dog.   Other than this, she has not attacked a dog. She is very reactive on the leash and will bark and lunge at dogs we pass.   This is the only incident of note. She was on the leash when it happened, and it was an off leash dog that came up to her that she lunged at, and the owner and I chose not to report it.  S he does not have a bite record and she has never shown aggression off the leash." Bunny's guardian offers a brief medical history:  "She has minor skin and food allergies" and is fed Acana single ingredient dry dog food beef and pumpkin. Bunny's guardian states the following regarding children:  Bunny doesn't live with children, but her guardian recommends her living with children, stating "She LOVES kids.  Anytime we see kids on our walk she goes crazy.  I do not know anything about her past, but if I had to guess I would say she has had some experience living with kids before." Bunny's guardian states the following regarding dogs:  Bunny doesn't live with a dog, so her guardian doesn't recommend her living with dogs, stating  "I am not sure whether or not I would recommend her living with dogs. I have not seen her interact with dogs very much, and the few times I have seen it the interaction has been very bad and she has gotten aggressive very quickly. However, these interactions have always been on the leash so to give her the benefit of the doubt I would say it is possible, I just do not know." Bunny's guardian states the following regarding cats:  Bunny lives with a cat, so her guardian recommends her living with cats, stating "We have a cat, her brother, Pinball, and they are best friends.  They play and cuddle and go on car rides together.  She loves cats." Bunny's guardian describes her as: Very active Barks alot Playful Friendly Likes to be touched Affectionate Fearful Protective Outdoor dog Nervous House-Trained Crate-Trained Likes women Separation anxiety Bunny's guardian describes her ideal future home: "An ideal home would be a someone with a fenced yard or some land. Someone with experience handling very reactive dogs and someone willing to train her or pay for training. Ideally she would do best with someone who can spend more time with her and put more training into her and get her energy out." Rehoming Fee:  None Location:  Baltimore, MD***** ADOPTION PROCESS  1. We advise that adopters do not send payment or deposits for pets prior to adopting.  ***** Jax is 4yo, weighs 70lbs, is microchipped, is up to date only for his rabies vaccine, and is not neutered..  He knows the following commands:  sit, lay down, bark, stay, gentle, paw and high five.  Jax fears and/or dislikes loud noises; he does very well during car rides.  "Jax is the best to live with.  He doesn't chew anything up.  He's very well potty-trained.  Even in his crate, if he has an accident, he looks very much embarrassed.  He's the best cuddler and he doesn't mind being around children.  He's very gentle and knows the command 'gentle'.  He never barks unless there's something wrong.  He doesn't bark or lunge at other dogs.  He does very well traveling.  He's honestly the best dog that just deserves better care and attention.  He's a fast learner and knows many tricks already.  He also doesn't randomly eat things.  He also sniffs it first or spits it out then eats it." Jax's guardian explains why she has made the difficult decision to rehome him:  "I am a single mother who works full time.  I've tried for two years now to keep up but he deserves more attention." Jax's guardian states the following regarding children:  Jax lives with a newborn infant, so his guardian recommends his living with children, stating "Very gentle.  Does not mind when children are rough with him." Jax's guardian states the following regarding dogs:  Jax doesn't live with dogs, but his guardian recommends his living with dogs, stating "Friendly.  Loves to play.  Most dogs growl or bark at him but he doesn't bark at other dogs, lunge at them, or growl." Jax's guardian states the following regarding cats:  Jax doesn't live with cats, but his guardian recommends his living with cats, stating "He's been around cats growing up but never lived with them and hasn't shown any aggression."
