Did someone say "crabby?" Fooled ya! That's just my face. I'm a sweet, loving, and friendly boy. My foster sister calls me uncoordinated and goofy, but really, I just love the simple things- lounging on the couch, napping in the sun, and enjoying nice, easy walks. I also love playing with a ball or frisbee. I sometimes get too excited and I've been working on not being too jumpy, but I promise I'm learning! I get along well with other dogs and their humans. Other animals? I'm still figuring them out. I've already learned a few tricks too! Sit, down, wait, stay, and come- and my foster family says I have great table manners. My bathroom manners need some work but I'm nearly there. If you're looking for a chill, cuddly companion to share your couch with, I'm your guy!

Play hard, nap harder. Meet Sammie, the pup who does it all! Sammie is a loving, energetic pup who adores playing fetch and making new dog friends! She is the sweetest cuddle bug I have ever met; I often wake up in the morning to find she has wiggled into my arms, her head on my chest. If my resident dog weren’t a cranky old man, she would be a welcome addition to our pack. Sammie does great with other dogs and takes correction well. She shares food, toys, beds with no hesitation. She is potty trained and knows sit and come. Her recall is great 90% of the time she gets better with her leash training everyday – She is strong and athletic! I like to tire her out with a long run or game of frisbee in the morning. This sweet girl also loves blanket forts and romping around with a blanket over her head. Other hobbies include wriggling around on her back and gazing adoringly at her humans. Sammie would do well in a home with other dogs. Sammie has a high prey drive and would do best in a home without small pets. She has lots of happy energy outside and lots of napping energy inside.

Story
Cider is a 3 year old, neutered male that was pulled off the PG county urgent list. We’re not sure what his situation was like before going to the shelter, but since having time to decompress after leaving the shelter, he has really come out of his shell. He’s still not overly affectionate when you first meet him, but he does warm up and can be really loving when given the opportunity. Cider is crate trained, good with other dogs, quiet when kenneled, and does pretty well on leash (he’s short but strong!). He takes corrections well- from both the 2 and 4-legged varieties- and loves his female play buddy in his foster home. This quiet gentleman is patiently waiting for you to stop messing around with all those bad boys and give the nice guy a shot. You won’t be disappointed in this rock-solid boy!

One thing led to another, and before I knew it, I was bouncing on a trampoline, knocking over a gnome, and causing quite a spectacle!
