You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.Harley is such a great dog! A note from his foster:  He’s perfectly well-behaved in the house. House-trained, gentle and happily goes into his crate at night or when asked. He’s smart and knows some commands. Seems to take satisfaction from pleasing humans, with just enough personality to make you laugh. He knows enough to test boundaries, but quickly course-corrects. This pup is grateful for getting the pets and is thrilled with the bully-rub.  He’s happy to nap by your feet during work calls, lay in the sun, and eager to go for walks. Good on a leash. Happy to sit for his harness and takes commands well when leaving the house. His prey drive is high — gets too excited about squirrels, most birds, other critters that scurry. He’s not well-suited for other dogs. Or cats.  He’s got some hound in his mix; loves to sniff and on the occasions when a siren would pass he would sing along. (Adorable.) Not a crazy barker, but can sound fierce when he does bark. He’s more of a gentle giant with humans. Did just fine with new people coming into the home. Sheds a lot!  Harley would live his best life in a home where he’s the only pet. A privacy-fenced yard to run free in would be nice, I suspect, but he’s seemingly just as happy to live in a city and go for walks a few times a day. Contact with other dogs would have to be limited.  He’s the perfect dog if you’re looking for a loyal best friend, and don’t have other pets.  Due to his being dog selective, we will only place Admiral in a home with childern 14 and older. If you are interested in Admiral, please contact: rorrcanine@gmail.com      *** Click here to sponsor this dog! *** Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 5:13 pm

PLEASE SEE CONTACT INFO BELOW.Contact Dee at k9rescueva@gmail.comHolly is a cute, affectionate and active young dog, look at those ears !  Sweet Holly is a small American Staffordshire terrier, about 6 years old, 40 lbs., medium brown with a white chest, short coat, with big ears! She loves people, but should ideally only live with adults and older children due to her activity level.  She is dog selective in a defensive way, she becomes uneasy when an unknown dog approaches.  Her new owner would ideally be experienced with bully breed dogs. She is very active and will need an owner(s) who can give her enough exercise to wear her out, like a runner !!   She needs a securely fenced yard with a 5-6 ft privacy fence, as she likes to leap and jump in her play.  She is about 6 yrs old, 40lbs, a great snuggle size; she's also good on a leash.  She's been fully vetted, spayed, vaccines and deworming.  She's very playful and loves her toys including old buckets, balls, kongs, antlers, beef bones and anything that can be thrown or she can kick around.  She's sweet and playful, and will make a great pet for the right person.    Please contact Dee at K9rescueva@gmail.com with any questions, and to meet this sweet girl.  Ask for her videos too.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 15, 2025, 2:58 pm

Story
Brownie is a four-month old Australian Cattle Dog Mix male puppy weighing 20 pounds. Brownie is estimated to weigh between 45-60 lbs as an adult. Brownie is the last remaining puppy of the Sweets Litter, born to Mama Cookie. Cookie and all of Brownie's littermates have been adopted and are living their best lives with their furever families. Brownie has been with his foster mama in Harrisburg, PA undergoing medical evaluation awaiting his opportunity to find a furever family. One Friday evening, Brownie pressed pause on his play session and displayed some neurological symptoms; therefore, he was placed on medical hold and deemed not adoptable until the rescue could determine the cause of this activity and identify appropriate treatment. Brownie has been evaluated by a multitude of vet specialists (reports available to potential adopters) and has been cleared for adoption with daily medication. Brownie is taking Keppra to minimize his symptoms. Estimated monthly cost using "GoodRX" coupon is $20. This neurological activity does not impact Brownie's day-to-day activity, and the neurology team at UPenn in Philadelphia reported this activity will not negatively impact his lifespan. Brownie is an active and playful puppy who is still working on learning some core manners. He would be an ideal hiking/jogging partner or would absolutely be smitten with an active doggie playmate in his furever home to help him release his puppy energy. Once his energy needs are met, he is absolute velcro. He wants to be with his person, next to his person, on his person...as close as he can get for snuggles. While Brownie has been utilizing a crate in his foster environment since 6 weeks, his preference is to be as close to his people as possible, snuggled together, receiving all of the love and attention available. Brownie has been fostered with dogs from XS to XL as well as cats/kittens and is good with them all, but could be too playful for a cat unwilling to play with an active puppy. Brownie can be timid around new people and new environments, but he acclimates quickly with proper intros and pawsitive reassurance (and treats!) Brownie rides well in the car as a co-pilot. Brownie is current on vaccines and monthly preventatives and is awaiting your application for adoption:  www.pack9rescue.org/applications . Story
Bruno is a great companion dog. He gets along with other dogs. He doesn't do well with wildlife or farm animals. He is leash and crate trained. He follows commands. He loves his walks and playing in the yard. He loves to cuddle. He is a big strong boy. Familiarity with the breed is helpful. He is favorite among the staff here at the ranch. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. He lives in the Texas Hill Country and can be transported anywhere in the US and Canada. ##1519814##
