You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.Harley is such a great dog! A note from his foster:  He’s perfectly well-behaved in the house. House-trained, gentle and happily goes into his crate at night or when asked. He’s smart and knows some commands. Seems to take satisfaction from pleasing humans, with just enough personality to make you laugh. He knows enough to test boundaries, but quickly course-corrects. This pup is grateful for getting the pets and is thrilled with the bully-rub.  He’s happy to nap by your feet during work calls, lay in the sun, and eager to go for walks. Good on a leash. Happy to sit for his harness and takes commands well when leaving the house. His prey drive is high — gets too excited about squirrels, most birds, other critters that scurry. He’s not well-suited for other dogs. Or cats.  He’s got some hound in his mix; loves to sniff and on the occasions when a siren would pass he would sing along. (Adorable.) Not a crazy barker, but can sound fierce when he does bark. He’s more of a gentle giant with humans. Did just fine with new people coming into the home. Sheds a lot!  Harley would live his best life in a home where he’s the only pet. A privacy-fenced yard to run free in would be nice, I suspect, but he’s seemingly just as happy to live in a city and go for walks a few times a day. Contact with other dogs would have to be limited.  He’s the perfect dog if you’re looking for a loyal best friend, and don’t have other pets.  Due to his being dog selective, we will only place Admiral in a home with childern 14 and older. Story
Remo is a 6-year-old bully mix with a heart as big as his 77-pound body—and a personality twice that size. Known for being the life of the party, Remo has never met a room he couldn’t brighten. He loves attention, thrives when all eyes are on him, and has perfected the art of charming everyone he meets.Despite his sturdy build, Remo is absolutely convinced he’s a lap dog. If you sit down, he will politely (or not-so-politely) attempt to climb right into your lap for the ultimate cuddle session. He’s a total lovebug who gives out affection as freely as he accepts it.Whether he’s snuggling, showing off, or soaking in the spotlight, Remo brings joy everywhere he goes. He’s a big softie with an even bigger heart—and he’s impossible not to love.If you are interested in meeting Remo, please visit the shelter during our open hours; Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri 10a-12:30p & 2p-4p, Thurs 10a-12:30p & 2p-6:30p, and Saturday 9a-1p. Adoption application can be filled out and approved during your meet-and-greet. If you have another dog in the home, plan to bring them for a meet before you complete the adoption!

Like fine wine, they have aged to perfection. They have seen the seasons go by, they have gotten house living down just right, but most of all, their depth of connection with their humans is as deep as the Grand Canyon. Snooks is just like that. She is fine with other dogs, as long as they aren't crazy wild, because she likes her world calm, but her true value is how much she will love you. She has it all down now, right along with her extra sweet temperament. You are the moon, the stars, and the sun for her. To be loved by this wonderful dog is almost indescribable. When you feel it, you will know. Snooks is all ready to show you. She has all her shots and is ready to come  into your life.  If you are interested in Snooks, please fill out an application at: https://reachoutrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=4588    Or contact: rorrcanine@gmail.com   *** Click here to sponsor this dog! ***Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 10, 2025, 2:43 am

PLEASE SEE CONTACT INFO BELOW.Contact Dee at k9rescueva@gmail.comSweet Holly is a small bully blend mix, 35-40 lbs., medium brown with a white chest, short coat, with big ears! She loves people, but should ideally only live with adults and older children due to her activity level.  She is dog selective in a defensive way, she becomes uneasy when an unknown dog approaches.Holly is fully vetted, utd on vaccines, and has been on hw prevention.  She is a beautiful little petite pixie – 40 pounds of dynamite: a big personality in a small package!  She’s a total love bug and very affectionate with her people, but has a prey drive for small animals, and can be dog reactive.  A high-energy girl, she requires daily exercise and stimulation; she loves her toys and constantly kicks around a small ball toy.   A securely fenced yard is a must to make life easier on her and her humans. Holly needs an experienced bully owner, and needs to be the only pet.   She is an active, smart, loving, playful dog and she just needs a chance to make a family complete ! Please contact Dee at K9rescueva@gmail.com with any questions, and to meet this sweet girl.  Ask for her videos too.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 22, 2025, 1:43 am
