Story
Meet Casey, a 2.5-year-old, 40-pound mixed-breed female who is as resilient as she is lovable. She gets along well with dogs and kids, and during her cat test she calmly ignored the cat, making her a great fit for a variety of homes. Casey appears to be house-trained and crate-trained, settling in nicely with routine and structure. After arriving as a stray with no hair and in need of significant TLC, she has made an incredible transformation—her coat is growing back beautifully, a true reflection of how far she’s come. She is the perfect combination of play and snuggles. And if that isn’t enough, she has the cutest little ears! Casey is spayed, current on vaccines, and has been treated for heartworm. She is currently fostered in Harrisburg, PA and is ready to find a forever home to call her own.  New Oxford PA 17350; LIC # 9736 We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Story
Meet Everest — Small Dog, BIG Personality!  Say hello to Everest! This 10-month-old, 25 lb mixed-breed cutie is a happy, playful boy with short little legs and a whole lot of love to give. He may look bigger in photos, but in real life he’s a compact, adorable short stack — and he’s expected to grow very little, if at all! Everest is a dog-lover through and through. He adores dogs of all sizes and play styles and can easily keep up with the big dogs while still knowing how to adjust his energy. Snow days? His favorite!   Watching him play in the snow is guaranteed to make you smile. He’s met cats and was curious but polite, respecting their space when they asked for it. Everest also loves all people and would be thrilled to have kids in his forever home to play and laugh with. This smart boy is very trainable and listens well when corrected. He loves toys, enjoys being active, and once he’s gotten his playtime in, he’s perfectly happy to curl up on the couch for some quality snuggle time.  Everest is fully crate trained and mostly house trained — just a few accidents here and there as he settles into a new routine. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines and preventatives, and heartworm negative. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, snuggly, dog-friendly companion with a joyful personality and little legs that go a long way, Everest is ready to climb right into your heart!   Fostered in York, PA  Apply to adopt at:  www.pack9rescue.org/applications New Oxford PA 17350; LIC # 9736 We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Story
Magnolia   aka Maggie! This sweet 5 yr old, approx 43 lbs spayed female mixed breed came to PA from Georgia where she was found as a stray. Maggie is a timid girl who is weary of new people, places and things but is hoping to find her furever family who wants to show her that the world isn’t such a scary place. While she’s shy and timid meeting new people once she knows you she wants nothing more than all your love and attention. Maggie is up to date on her preventatives and vaccines. Maggie is loved children and is dog and human friendly. We are unsure of how she feels about kitty friends. Maggie is being fostered in Dillsburg, Pa.
