Approx. DOB: 3/17/23                 Approx. Weight: 38 lBS Adoption Fee: $200 includes a 2 week trial to ensure everyone's happiness!   10/12/24 HEARTWORM + TREATMENT COMPLETED 3/01/25 AND DENTAL DONE 3/10/25 HEALTHY GIRL   Miss Darla is looking for a family as wonderful as herself. Her foster mom says she is house and crate trained.  She will whine to let you know she needs to go out. Darla has loved playing with the dogs in her foster home because they are all even tempered like her. The dogs that are bossy and dominant she does not like. Darla loves to play tag, tug and chase with her furry friends.  The yard she plays in has a 4'  chain link fence and she has never tried to get out or over it.  She will sometimes play fetch unless the ball or toy interest her more then returning it... LOL. Darla has been working on walking on leash wearing a harness,  which we include with her adoption, plus her collar and leash.     I have been spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative and microchipped.  If you are interested in adopting me, please complete the adoption application located at www.furrykidsrefuge.org/adoptadog and a dedicated volunteer will get back to you as soon as possible.   Furry Kids' Refuge is in need of good quality dog and puppy food with meat as the first ingredient.  You can drop off donations at our weekly adoption events at the Lee's Summit Petco (1860 NW Chipman Road, Lee's Summit, MO), Saturdays only from 11am to 2:00 p.m.  Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.  Would you like to foster a Furry Kid? Furry Kids' Refuge will supply the food & vet care while you supply the basic house rules & love.......win-win for all!!  Just visit our website http://www.furrykidsrefuge.org/category/fostering/  for more information. Thanks for your support! UPDATED BIODOB: 4/13/24                          Current Weight(as of 2/25): 45pds Adoption Fee: $200 includes 2 week trial to ensure everyone's happiness. LEGO is in a foster home and this is their update! Lego is crate trained and  housebroken!! Lego is super smart and has learned the 'sit', 'stay', ' come'  commands.  He is really well behaved in the home. He is still going thru the chewing stage so we have plenty of appropriate things he can chew on.  Lego loves people and is a people pleaser. Lego would love going to obedience classes to continue his learning.  Lego has turned into a well adjusted, gentle, sweet dog looking for his forever family.  Lego came to us from the Nevada  Animal  shelter as a puppy, he is now a year old.  He has beautiful eyes. Lego loves other dogs and he loves playing with all sizes but the little ones..... under 20pds can sometimes be overwhelmed with his playfulness. He would be a great playmate for a medium or large size dog.  Lego loves water! He has to put his paws in the water dish if not watched.  We have a kid size plastic pool that he loves to play in.  Lego will do great with most any family. Lego definitely sounds more like a hound when he barks! Lego requires a home with a fenced yard and kids 16 and older. Lego has been neutered, wormed, microchipped, and vaccinated. He is on monthly heartworm prevention (required year round) If you are interested in meeting/adopting Lego just fill out a application at www.furrykidsrefuge.org, click on the 'Adopt A Dog' icon and a dedicated volunteer will be in touch. Story
Say hello to Turkey, a friendly three-year-old with a cute name and a laid-back vibe. He loves hanging out with people, especially kids, and gets along great with other dogs. Right now, he’s enjoying life on his foster mom’s farm, surrounded by all sorts of animals. While he’s pretty chill with most of them, he’s decided cats aren’t really his thing. So, a cat-free forever home would be perfect for him! Turkey's been on the lookout for his forever home for over a year, and it’s puzzling why he hasn’t gotten more attention. Other than not being a cat fan, he’s an awesome dog and super handsome! He’s crazy about toys and treats. At first, he might be a little protective of them, but once he’s comfy, he’s happy to share the fun. Plus, he’s great on a leash and fully house and crate trained. Seriously, he’s the whole package! Could you be the one to welcome Turkey into your life? He’ll fill your home with laughter, snuggles, and lots of love! Apply to adopt Turkey at: http://www.lucky13rescue.org or www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/LUCK/Dog Turkey's adoption fee is $200. This fee includes his vaccinations, heartworm test, microchip and neuter surgery.

We show our dogs by appointment only. If you are interested in adopting Naveen, Please fill out our online dog adoption application. Naveens adoption fee is $150. Age: 3-4 years old I’m Prince Naveen, but you can just call me Naveen. I am much more chill than the frog in the movie. I adore my humans and love to cuddle. I am a goofy man who is getting his second chance at life. I like to stare at you with my wonky eyes, do tons of full body wiggles, and be a good boy. I am a tiny prince at only 37lbs, so I can fit into any home. I am selective about my dog friends and don’t know much about cat friends, but I am still learning. Training is a breeze because I love snacks. I already know sit and stay, and walk good on leash. I am working super hard on potty training but I am kennel trained! Apply to be part of Prince Naveen’s royalty today!

My name is Patrick, but you can call me Patty or Good Boy! I love nothing more than snuggling with my human or dog friends. I am kennel and potty trained, and I love taking walks with my foster mama! Are you looking for someone to snuggle? I could be your boy!

Story
They call me Lucky, and I think I really am! I was pulled for rescue right before I was scheduled to be euthanized with my brother. We found our way to a wonderful foster home, where we have gotten neutered and learned all about being good house pups. I am potty trained and kennel trained, and enjoy my walks with my foster mama. I love to play with my brother and other dogs in the house. I love kids too! I am so lucky to have a foster family but I am really hoping to find my forever family. Is that you?
