Smalls was rescued in the beginning of November from the euth list at harbor shelter(san pedro) and travelled up to portland, oregon so I could foster him and find him the perfect forever home! Smalls is about 2 years old and about 40 lbs. He was fixed before leaving the shelter and is up to date on his vaccines! Smalls is housebroken, walks nicely on leash, and does great on car rides! He is the sweetest, cutest little pocket pittie who has so much love to give. Smalls is still a bit puppy and is looking for a family that can provide him with an active lifestyle and understands that he is still learning about the world! Smalls is dog friendly(as you can see pictured with my dog) and could live with another dog after proper slow introductions. Chicken Nugget is a brave confident soul that loves her people. Her affection knows no bound,s as she runs to you and gives kisses. Meet Andy Puddin'! He got his name because he is sweet like pudding! He LOVES his humans and just wants to love on you and be loved by you. He is a Velcro dog, in all the best ways! If you are looking for a best friend, he is the dog for you! This handsome, 50 pound, 1 year old Texas boy is currently being fostered with dogs as small as 7 pounds and as big as 120 pounds. His face lights up, and his tail wags when he meets a new dog, but he seems to prefer the smaller dogs. We think it's because they make him feel safe, although the chihuahua is super mean to him and he just takes it! Andy has no idea his size, and loves nothing more than being snuggled up in your lap. He will find a way to squeeze into it, even if there are 3 other dogs on it. He loves to roll on his back while on your lap, and entertain you with his adorable grin while you admire all his cute freckles on his belly. He loves to give "hugs" and be hugged. His short hair, is soft like velvet. Andy is a young guy who enjoys running around the yard and walking in the park. He is great on the leash and would love an adopter who takes him on their adventures. He would be a perfect hiking or jogging buddy! He loves riding in the car and will even let you choose the radio station. Andy's fosters work full time so he is used to being crated and is potty trained. Woof Woof! Hi, my name is Tex! I'm the best boy around town! I'm well behaved, I love other dogs, and I'm a great passenger in the car! I'm crate trained too! I'm a big boy, at almost 70 pounds. I don't bark in my crate or make a lot of noise. I do whimper if I see you walking around and it's dinner time! I love my food! I do love kisses from my human. He loves people, but sometimes a bit too much and needs reminders that all 72 pounds of him can't live in your arms. ! Being about 2 years old this is typical and he is working on it and he’s easy to correct. He just wants to give all of his love! Pumpkin just loves to be touched and get affection. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!
