Koda Bear is a 1 year old Am Staff Terrior. He is such an energetic love bug. We are currently in an apartment & have overlapping work schedules, which doesn’t allow us to give him the time & attention he so deserves. We are also expecting in august, which took us by surprise. So we think we bit of more than we can chew with a pup & soon to have 2 under 2. We would ideally love a family who either has a yard or the time to take him to the dog park to run around/lengthy walks. He is great with children and dogs. Hyper around cats but doesn’t harm them.

I am the best of both worlds: I can lounge around with my humans like a big couch potato, but also love to play with my puppy-like energy. A few of my favorite things to do are: cuddling with my people, going on fun walkies or jogs, playing tuggy with one of my many rope toys, or cobbing with my best friend, the stuffed toy turtle, named Turty. I've had him since my current parents brought me home for the first time 2 years ago. Jolene has mastered leash walking and will walk graciouisly next to her person. She is pretty amazing in public places, with her focus to her human. Jolene has been to many social, public stores and beer gardens to show off her good girl manners. She nonchalantly walks through the isles getting oohs and aahs from many admirers. Jolene is gentle and knows how to be a classy lady and not jump up when greeting, she will take treats very softly, and welcomes all pets from any human friends. You can pet her head, touch her tail, rub her belly, tickle her feet. Wanna check out her pearly whites? She will let anyone do that too! Jolene is very independent and self entertains. She knows how to spend time alone in her crate. The best part of her day is when her person gets home. Just ask her to "go kennel" and she will happily obilige. She knows that her person will be home and give her love at the end fo the day, and will be the very best girl in her crate, waiting patiently until you arrive just for that special moment. Her foster mom works a full time job and Jolene is on a great crate routine that will easily transfer into any home. She enjoys toys and bones, and happy to share with her human. Car rides are her favorite. She loves treats-- dehydrated liver makes her melt! She will be at attention and eager to please for a little nibble. She know basic commands such as sit, no, down, up, go kennel, shake. Want a pup that you can take on the road with you? Just open the car door and she will jump right in-- she will comfortably sit quietly on the seat or will jump into a crate if that's how you prefer to roll! She is light and limber on her feet and would make an excellent walking or hiking companion. She is the best of both worlds- young and agile enough for someone athletic and at the same time, super low key and will fit into a lower energy home just as beautifully. Jolene was found wandering with a male canine companion and has been best friends through a chain link fence to two large male pitties that live next door to her foster's home. They run back and forth along the fence line playing with eachother. She would bring her toys to the fence to show them off. It was always freindly, but it's because she felt the safety and security the fence offered. We have been working hard in offering positive experiences, and she has come a very long way but she is still a little unsure of other dogs. Jolene will not lunge, bark or react to any dogs around her but will not do well in an environment where unwelcomed dogs come into her space. It makes her nervous and uncomfortable and she will give a very clear correction. She is very easy to manage and redirects like a dream. She is the type of dog that prefers to have a small safety bubble around her. Due to the challenges and insecurities she is still battling, it would be best for Jolene to go into a home without any other dogs. Jolene has been very fortunate to work with our rescue behavior team that has helped her grow her confidence and learn to be very comfortable in different scenarios. It makes me so proud to see a once nervous girl so confidently hanging out at a brewery and sitting on a complete strangers lap, and being the best behaved dog in the room! Is she perfect? Hi! My name is Bruce! I’m a 2 year old staffy mix and I was rescued in Houston, TX by a really sweet woman. When she saw all my scars and limp, she knew she had to help me! She and her friend took me to the vet and raised money to help get my healthy. After finding out I had a broken elbow, they reached out for help and 3LP responded! As you can see from all my scars I had a really hard life before I was rescued. People were really mean to me. I’ve been with my foster family for 9 months and have really made a lot of strides in trusting people although it still takes time for me to warm up. I will need time to learn to trust my new family, but will love my canine siblings right away! Since I like to blend in, I need to go to a home with multiple dogs. This will help me feel safe as I get to know my new family. I do startle easily, so a home with no kids and patient parents is a must! I’ve recently learned to walk on a leash and it’s helping me build lots of confidence. I’m really proud of myself when I get home from a walk! I like to chase the tennis ball and play with my foster siblings, but my favorite thing is food! I get so excited when it’s time to eat, I spin is circles! My foster mom thinks I’m the sweetest snuggle bug and wakes up early to cuddle with me on the couch before work! I sleep all night on a bed in her room, and love when it’s morning time - that means cuddles and food! I really am a happiest boy, once I feel comfortable. I am crate trained! I feel safe in my crate and will nap there throughout the day. I like when I get a Kong filled with treats to keep me occupied when my fosters leave. I’m also potty trained! Meet Iker! He is currently almost 4 months old and a stunningly handsome possible pocket pittie mix. His momma is a petite, low riding big headed girl, but in rescue, the rest can be a bit of a mystery! The litter's mama, Lora is INCREDIBLY sweet, loving, affectionate and is a favorite at the doggy daycare she attends. We are so thankful to have her in our program because it gives us a strong sign of the personalities these pups will have... and she is so sweet, gentle mannered and docile! Holy moly!! How gorgeous is this Ramon?! Rescue is like a box of chocolates— you never know what you’re going to get, but this one is so CUTE 😍 This little tan and chocolate merle cutie is a little over 4 months old and a strikingly handsome 20ish lbs. He is the squishiest, flappy eared boy with the most unique coat— almost reminds us of a chocolate chunk cookie! His eyes are also very unique- both a rich brown that match his spots perfectly, and one of them has the brightest ice blue speck. Ramon looks just like his momma in his markings, but in rescue, the rest is always a bit of a mystery! We have no clue the breed of dad, but what we can confidently share is that this litter's mama, Lora is INCREDIBLY sweet, loving, affectionate and is a favorite at the doggy daycare she attends.
