She is a very sweet energetic girl. She has never bitten anybody in her life. She is very very high energy and will require a place that has a backyard or at least be taken to dog parks every other day. She is good around any breed of dog but probably prefers bigger dogs because she can play with them. She’s good around cats. She’s only been around one cat her entire life who doesn’t really like her and is mean towards her, but she ignores him and doesn’t engage in his behavior. Asker is a sweet 2yo mixed breed with lots of love to give. She is still in her late puppy stage and has a lot of energy when excited and can be jumpy at first but will calm down quickly and becomes a great snuggler. She loves attention. She’s had some formal training: can sit, stay, and is crate trained. She’s great and loves to run/play with medium to larger dogs but small dogs and cats cause her to get over excited and has been known to chase. Leash training is needed, she can pull and get excited on a leash , but she’s shown good progress with her other training. A home with a fenced yard would be ideal! We are relocating and sadly are unable to care for her like we had intended. We have lots of toys, leashes, and dog beds.

Everything about Rumi Cutie can best be described as absolute perfection. She is an incredibly sweet and loving girl who wants to be everyone's best friend. Rumi absolutely adores everyone she meets and melts into you any chance she gets. She has a heart of gold and radiates happiness wherever she goes. You can't help but smile when you're around her, especially when she looks up at you with those gorgeous big brown puppy-dog eyes and her sweet, innocent grin. She is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. One of the most special things about Rumi is how beautifully she does with children, even as young as 5 years old. She isn't fazed by the busy energy that can come with little ones. Jumping, squealing, sudden movements, excited storytelling, etc. Rumi handles it all with calm patience. She takes treats softly and carefully from tiny hands and seems to have a natural understanding of how to be gentle around children. During her time with the girls, she was incredibly loving, tolerant, and sweet. She happily accepted all of their affection and attention while remaining calm and respectful throughout their interactions. At one point, she was carrying toys around while the girls practiced cartwheels and did the splits nearby, completely unbothered by all the activity around her. She truly has the makings of a wonderful family dog. Rumi is dog friendly and has been around a variety of dogs with different personalities, sizes, and temperaments. While she isn't the type that's constantly looking for a wrestling partner, she enjoys the company of other dogs and is more of a relaxed hangout kind of girl. She tends to prefer dogs that share her cool, calm, and collected approach to life. Every now and then she'll surprise you with the cutest little play bows and enjoy zooming around in lighthearted games of chase with a canine friend. In a home, we think she would do best with a medium-energy male dog who enjoys having a companion around but isn't looking for a nonstop playmate. That said, Rumi absolutely does not need another dog in the home to be happy. She loves people so much and thrives on human affection. Honestly, she has enough love to give that it feels like three dogs packed into one. She's something special. Rumi also met our house cat, Biggie, and handled the introduction beautifully. She was respectful, appropriate, and showed no interest in chasing him. She wasn't bothered by Biggie jumping around or doing typical cat things, and Biggie seemed comfortable around her as well. We don't know whether Rumi has lived with cats before, as this was our first time seeing her interact with one, but based on what we observed, she did wonderfully. If you have a cat at home, we can arrange a sleepover with a cat upon request so you can see how she does. When it comes to training, Rumi is eager to learn and loves treats. She already knows a few basic commands, including sit and down, and she's the kind of dog that genuinely wants to make her people happy. You could probably even teach her how to dance too—LOL. She walks nicely on leash and only pulls occasionally, usually when she catches an especially interesting smell. She responds well to gentle correction and is eager to please. Rumi also has wonderful house manners and is both crate and potty trained. Rumi would thrive in a home with a backyard where she can stretch her legs, practice her mini zoomies, sunbathe during beautiful summer days, and explore all the interesting smells. At the same time, we also think she has the potential to thrive in an apartment or condo setting with proper exercise and socialization. She really doesn't need much. A nice walk, a trip to the park, or some mental enrichment games around the house are usually enough to keep her happy. Truthfully, she'll often tire herself out just by playing with a toy. Simba is 71 pounds of golden, big-boy presence... and really, what more could you ask for from a dog who's thicker than a Snickers with a perfectly blocky head to match? Simba is a lover boy looking for a quiet life as your resident dog rug. He's soft, dreamy, and fully committed to making your home a cozier place. We think Simba is a bully mix of some sort, but he is a rescue, so his exact age and breed are unknown and cannot be guaranteed. Meet Luna! If sunshine, happiness, and cuddles were somehow turned into a dog, her name would be Luna. This gorgeous 4-year-old Pit Bull/Staffy mix has a stunning slate-gray coat, soulful eyes, and the biggest smile you've ever seen. Seriously—Luna always looks like she just heard the best joke in the world. Her goofy expressions, happy face, and constant grin make it impossible not to smile right back at her. Luna's superpower is love. Her foster says she is one of the cuddliest dogs they've ever met. This girl wants to be as close to her people as physically possible. Sitting next to you? Great. Sammie Squeaks has the kind of joyful little spirit that makes you wonder how you ever lived without her. She loves people with her whole heart, greets every day like it is the best one yet, and will happily trade a game of chase for a spot curled up in your lap. Add in her gorgeous face and enormous brown teddy bear eyes, and this tiny pittie girl is nearly impossible not to fall in love with. Do not let her pictures fool you because she is much smaller in person than she appears! She is believed to be a Pittie mix, but as always with animal rescue, breed and age are our best guesses, and we can never guarantee either. Sammie is dog friendly and has participated in multiple playgroups with dogs of many different sizes and personalities. She tends to do best with dogs her size or larger because when Sammie plays, she plays hard! Her enthusiastic playstyle may be a little too rough for smaller dogs, but with appropriately matched friends, she has an absolute blast playing chase and running alongside them. When Sammie is not busy playing with her dog friends, she can usually be found getting spoiled with love from the nearest person. She is incredibly affectionate, very cuddly, and loves nothing more than climbing into someone’s lap. Personal space is not really part of Sammie’s vocabulary, and she will happily make herself comfortable as close to you as possible. Sammie also met our house cat Biggie and handled the introduction wonderfully. She was appropriate and respectful, did not chase him, and was not bothered by Biggie jumping around or doing the unpredictable things cats do. Biggie also appeared comfortable around her. We do not know whether Sammie has ever lived in a home with a cat, and this was our first time observing her around one. At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dog’s growth and we enjoy seeing their progress! We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap—ranging from $100–$1,000+ per dog.
