Story
Faith, Hope, Charity and Liberty are 4 sisters who were found abandoned in a cemetary in rural West TN. Thankfully a nice lady found them and took them home. They were starved and freezing but very sweet and friendly. We believe they were born in late Nov or early December. They have started their vetting and if everything continues to go as planned they will finish their vetting and be ready to travel to their forever homes 3-15. These girls are going to be large dogs when fully grown. They are already learning how to sit and other tricks. If you are interested in adopting please visit funnyfarmpets.org where you can read all about our adoption and transport process and you can submit the adoption application at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FFRR/Dog The adoption fee is $399 and transport will be an additional $200 if they have to be transported out of TN where they are currently fostered.

Story
Meet Sweeeeeeettt Caroline! She is truly a sweetheart and loves to stand up and dance to greet everyone she meets. Caroline was surrendered when her previous owners moved and couldn't take her with them. She is ready to find her forever home that will love her like she will love them. Caroline is very eager to greet people and can pull and be a bit jumpy in her excitement. She is extremely athletic and is able to jump up to give face kisses. We think Caroline would be an amazing running partner or agility dog! She is very smart; we know she can be trained to learn proper manners on how to greet people. Besides loving up on her people, Caroline's favorite thing is to play ball. She will chase any kind of ball she can find. If she can't find a ball, she'll pick up another dog toy and carry it with her everywhere - even on walks! Caroline hopes to find a family that is as active as she is to play with her and let her explore. Good times will never seem as good if you don't have Caroline by your side. Caroline does have a prey drive, so she will need a home without cats or other small critters. She has never lived with other pets in a home, so we do not know if she would like living with another dog. We may consider adopters with another dog if they have experience with integrating a new dog into their home safely. Caroline will need a home without young children, but older teens that are dog savvy should be fine. If you are interested in meeting Caroline, please complete an application on our website: www.crcpa.org

Story
Introducing the most handsome 1 year old boy, Dave. The beginning of Dave’s life wasn’t the best, but you would never know it as this boy’s smile lights up the room and he is just full of love. 💙🐾 Dave is smitten with every person he meets and is also absolutely fantastic with other dogs and has a wonderful submissive personality. Dave seems to be housetrained and isn’t a destructive boy though he does love romping around with any and all toys. 🐶❤️ Dave adores attention and two and four legged friends and would love a family that includes him on their adventures, whether they be hikes or snuggling up for a Netflix marathon. This handsome boy still gets excited about greeting new people so either a family that is willing to work with him on that or one without toddlers would be best.🫶🏻 This gorgeous, loving boy is ready to live the good life with his forever family and he’s hoping it might be you! 🎉😊 If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at http://www.dixiegirldogrescue.org/adopt-form PLEASE MAKE NOTE- OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN ALABAMA (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED), OUR DOGS TRANSPORT TO THEIR NEW FAMILIES IN PENNSYLVANIA AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN ADOPTED. Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.2/24/24 Still available! 2/4/24 *Bonded pair*.  Shortbread (brindle) and Poundcake (brown) are absolutely precious! These little girls are 4 months old. They were surrendered to our rescue by the breeder because they both have Spina Bifida. They have no mobility issues at all- the only symptom is that they are both bladder and bowel incontinent. They will always have to wear diapers. The upside is that you don't have to worry about house training them! These are probably the easiest pups I've ever had. They don't get into things, not big chewers, easy to correct, and they love to snuggle, but if you can't snuggle, they will find a soft spot to snuggle with each other or play together. They are just as sweet as can be, and you have to admit, they are incredibly cute in their little diapers and suspenders! Even though they are still just babies, they are old souls. Despite the diapers, they are very easy to care for. We have them sleep in a crate together, without their diapers, on a grid, so their pee/poop goes under them, and they aren't sitting in it. In the mornings, they eat in their crate, then about 30 min after eating, I put their diapers on them and they come out for the day. I usually only change them one time throughout the day. Then, at night, I remove their diapers and put them back in their crates to eat dinner, and they are perfectly content to go to bed and rest for the remainder of the night. They love to go outside on nice days and explore the yard, but it should be noted that as English Bulldogs, they should never be allowed to stay outside on warm days due to their increased risk for heat stroke. They love being picked up and held or just talked to. They are very affectionate, but not at all demanding. They must be adopted together and stay together. Before applying, please think about whether you will want to deal with diapers on 2 dogs for the next 10+ years. While they are very easy, it is still a major commitment, and I don't want them to ever be separated or booted outside due to their adopter getting frustrated. So please put a lot of thought into whether you are ready for that kind of commitment. They are not free, nor will they be a deeply discounted adoption. Even though they have Spina Bifida, they are still wonderful, and I want them to go to someone who knows their worth and will love them, diapers and all. They are special to me and can stay here with me for however long it takes to find them the perfect home. Please private message for info on the adoption fee. They are up to date on vaccinations and I have had them spayed and microchipped.  Located in Arkansas, but transport is available.
