Story
P lease contact us to submit an application directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com. Meet Bailey! This sweet girl is looking for her forever home with experienced owners.  She loves the outside - playing fetch, going for walks in fairly quiet areas (few people and dogs to run into) and laying in the sun. She also does great in the car! A securely fenced yard is a must for this girl.    Inside, Bailey thinks anything soft is her bed - she enjoys sleeping on the couch, in her crate, on a dog bed or at your feet while working (she’d love to sleep in bed with you but isn’t allowed in her foster home). She loves her dog toys and chewing her bone and stuffies and keeps the chewing to appropriate dog things. She will alert you to any happenings outside. Bailey is crate trained - It is her safe place!   Bailey with people - she absolutely loves HER humans. She needs slow, distant and non threatening introductions with people, but once she sees you’re safe, you become part of her circle and she can’t love you enough. She loves to play and cuddle and get belly rubs.  She is a covid dog in that she hasn’t had a lot of exposure to other people. She continues to make progress with socialization.    Bailey with kids - her human foster brother is her favorite being. Bailey’s forever home could include older kids (12+) who are respectful of her and her signals. She also gets quite excited to see her people and can forget her size!    Bailey with dogs - Bailey is reactive to other dogs. She is in a foster home with another dog and while they get along (after a slow introduction), Bailey resource guards bones, stuffed animals and good treats, causing angst in her furry foster brother. She’d love to be the only furry friend in a home to get all of the love and attention (she also has prey drive so no cats).    As Bailey was under socialized and has some fears, she needs experienced owners that will continue her positive training and pay attention to and respect her signals. She has made great progress and has so much love to give and all she wants is love and a cuddle in return.    Bailey is currently in foster in Gig Harbor. If you’re interested in being Bailey’s forever family, please complete an application: No apartments or rentals.  Bully Breed experience is a must April 28, 2024, 3:37 am

Story
Introducing the handsome Domino! This precious pittie is almost a year old, and he's all ready for his forever home. Neutered and up to date on shots , he's the epitome of sweetness and charm! Domino is a social butterfly when it comes to other pups and simply adores humans! He's absolutely obsessed with them and will shower you with endless love and affection. Plus, this smart boy is incredibly treat motivated and a quick learner. While Domino gets along well with children, he would thrive best in a home with older kids. Why, you ask? Well, when he gets excited, he tends to do what we call "happy jumps"! So, to avoid any accidental tumbles, an older, more sturdy bunch would be perfect. Domino is crate-trained like a champ and is wonderfully well-behaved. He may pull a little on his leash during walks, but with a bit of guidance, he's an absolute gem. If you're ready to open your heart and home to this adorable pittie, look no further! Domino is anxiously waiting to find his forever family. Are you the lucky ones who will provide him with all the love and care he deserves? DM us now! #AdoptDontShop #PittieLove #ForeverHomeBound #AdorableDomino

Story
I have had Russell for 8 years, he is very playful, full of energy and loves to be cuddled on. He does have some anxiety with crates, but does well with open topped cages. We have recently became a blended family and Russell does not do well with the new dogs (due to his anxiety). I would like to have him re homed to someone who does not have any other pets, has a backyard for him to run and play in and someone who will be able to put their full undivided attention on loving and caring for him. He’s a great companion, he just needs the right home life.

Story
APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. SCOOBY is a big boy...at least 65#. His estimated DOB is 1/5/2020...so he is almost 4 yrs old. He is a very FUN dog and loves playing with other dogs but he is exuberant and easily intimidates smaller dogs. He would be a great companion dog for a large breed dog. He loves everyone and just wants to play. He has not had in-house training...in a shelter with lots of dogs, the big ones don't necessarily get the royal treatment. He has been leash trained and loves to go on walks. After he get rid of the initial excitement about going out, he walks gently on the leash. I do not trust him with a cat. If it runs, he will chase. He sees them as lots of fun. Scooby would be great with a family with older children. Smaller ones would probably get knocked down during playtime. He needs a home with large back yard, I would not recommend him for an apartment. Check out our YouTube Video: https://youtu.be/KD9BUCFmQCs This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. You can ask us about how pre-adoption works and our "trial period." If you have any questions or would like an e-mail from us as to how all of this works, text me (Terry); identify the dog's name and give me your email address... 210-394-6060. You can also go to our Facebook page... https://www.facebook.com/Pet-Central-SATX-866684826744181/ and LIKE us to help us out. After we review your application, we will contact you, and you'll have the opportunity to find out more from their foster family or the rescue. If you experience any issues filling out the application you can contact us directly at shaynerescue@gmail.com. This is ONLY if you have problems applying. If you have not applied, you will not receive a response so please only email if you have any issues applying. Adoption Fees The adoption fee includes transportation to WA/OR. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting. All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog. HOW ABOUT FOSTERING! If you are not in the position to afford a puppy/dog but still want to be an important factor in dog rescue, we recommend fostering. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees while saving a life and enjoying the love of a canine companion. We are always in need of good fosters. You can sign up to foster at this link: https://shaynesrescue.com/foster-application/ This is a post on behalf of Pet Central SATX Rescue, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.
