KONA arrived very pregnant and gave birth to 8 babies Dec 20, 2019!   She is very goofy and has playful energy, but also loves to lay at your feet. She's really a clown as she leaps and pops through the house, even in her older age. She listens really well, has shown great house manners, and is a lovable companion.  This is a good thing because she hates being crated and has busted out of them. She loves playing with her foster's dogs.  They are husky/shepherd mixes, and she is even submissive with them. She's also been around small dogs and has been fine with them, but larger dogs are best for this girl if there are dogs in the home so there's no chance of her running over them.  No cats please. Minerva is a very sweet girl. She has been an emotional support animal for years and now that she is getting older (12 years old this fall) she needs a home that can support her. She has some health issues: --Skin issues which she takes Apequel for --She gets UTI's regularly which require antibiotics. When she gets an infection her feet/toes swell up. Antibiotics will clear this up, but vets are loathe to give her the antibiotics she needs without hundreds of dollars of testing. --Her hips bother her so she cannot walk more than a few blocks The only behavioral issue she has is leash aggression towards other dogs. If she sees another dog on the street she will growl and bark and try to lunge towards them. This makes it difficult to impossible to take her anywhere that other dogs might be. She has never injured another dog, but she has frightened many other dog owners. The ideal home for her would be a house without other dogs (she gets along with cats) with a yard and doggie door.

Henry is a 2 year old extremely velcro pup who is very sweet, affectionate and loving. He does great with other dogs but can also live alone. He loves humans and is almost like a lapdog. Henry has received obedience training from a private trainer. He walks very well on leash and is a sweet, happy boy. Henry is currently about 50 lb and fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He is heartworm negative, and kept on heartworm and flea preventative. Henry is being fostered in Texas, but can travel to any state, and even Canada for the right home. His adoption fee includes his transport fee. Tundra is a beautiful 2.6 year female, Staffordshire terrier and Border Collie mix. Tundra does great in the home, and loves other dogs. She’s also very affectionate and friendly. Tundra loves going on walks and adventures in nature. She is house trained and loves hanging out and being a snuggle bug too. Tundra has never met a stranger (human or canine) that she doesn’t love. She is a perfect cuddler and is never shy to give kisses. She’s a big hearted, loyal girl who loves life. She has good foundational leash manners but can pull some at first when excited. She’d do best in a home without cats. She is kid friendly and doesn’t mind being laid on or used as a foot rest, children 12 and up would be best. She can get a little mouthy and when she’s excited but she’s a smart girl and can easily learn more manners with patience and time. Her favorite past times are eating, sleeping with a cozy blankie, and having a good chew session with a Yak cheese chew. He is smart, gentle, snuggly, and playful. He is 65lbs. Apollo is up to date on all vaccinations and is neutered. He loves to sunbathe and be outside with his human. He has a hard time trusting males and struggles with change, so he will need a home that is stable (not moving a lot) and the male in the home needs to be there enough to build a relationship with him (not in and out traveling for work). Apollo does have anxiety and will need a lot of help with overcoming this especially with going to the vet and groomer. He has allergies in the fall/winter and eats Zignature kangaroo allergy friendly food. He loves to play with other dogs and has never had an incident while at doggie daycare, but he sometimes plays like a puppy and that can scare some bigger dogs. He’s patient and gentle with kids but would do best in a home with older kids because younger kids make him anxious. He is crate trained, house broken, and does great in his kennel. He is the most lovable guy who needs someone to help him with anxiety in an environment that is stable and calm. This dog requires a fully fenced yard with a visible fence, as well as a sturdy, high quality crate (no wire or soft crates will be accepted. Impact, Ruffland, 4 point contact locking door Skyline, Zinger Winger, etc type crate). We will be considering homes in W. Wa and possibly Oregon, no other out of state adoptions at this time. Of the 2 dogs we own Kenai is our most active. Kenai loves to run around outside but will let you know when he’s over it and would like to come inside. He loves jumping on new people or when he’s simply excited to see you. His love language is food! He’s very strong and always curious, his absolute favorite thing is to lay near the heater. We are currently in the process of moving & unfortunately have no space for both our dogs. We’re looking to re-home them with a family that will love him, be present for him, and give him the attention/care he deserves.
