Story
P lease contact us to submit an application directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com. Meet Bailey! This sweet girl is looking for her forever home with experienced owners.  She loves the outside - playing fetch, going for walks in fairly quiet areas (few people and dogs to run into) and laying in the sun. She also does great in the car! A securely fenced yard is a must for this girl.    Inside, Bailey thinks anything soft is her bed - she enjoys sleeping on the couch, in her crate, on a dog bed or at your feet while working (she’d love to sleep in bed with you but isn’t allowed in her foster home). She loves her dog toys and chewing her bone and stuffies and keeps the chewing to appropriate dog things. She will alert you to any happenings outside. Bailey is crate trained - It is her safe place!   Bailey with people - she absolutely loves HER humans. She needs slow, distant and non threatening introductions with people, but once she sees you’re safe, you become part of her circle and she can’t love you enough. She loves to play and cuddle and get belly rubs.  She is a covid dog in that she hasn’t had a lot of exposure to other people. She continues to make progress with socialization.    Bailey with kids - her human foster brother is her favorite being. Bailey’s forever home could include older kids (12+) who are respectful of her and her signals. She also gets quite excited to see her people and can forget her size!    Bailey with dogs - Bailey is reactive to other dogs. She is in a foster home with another dog and while they get along (after a slow introduction), Bailey resource guards bones, stuffed animals and good treats, causing angst in her furry foster brother. She’d love to be the only furry friend in a home to get all of the love and attention (she also has prey drive so no cats).    As Bailey was under socialized and has some fears, she needs experienced owners that will continue her positive training and pay attention to and respect her signals. She has made great progress and has so much love to give and all she wants is love and a cuddle in return.    Bailey is currently in foster in Gig Harbor. If you’re interested in being Bailey’s forever family, please complete an application: No apartments or rentals.  Bully Breed experience is a must September 23, 2023, 8:30 pm

Story
Blondie is available to adopt in her foster home! Blondie is a volunteer favorite! She adores everyone she meets and even does well with children! Blondie is super sweet and also super active. She knows sit and down and is an expert at catching treats. She's just so excited she could be a bit gentler taking treats from hands and she pulls on the leash. Blondie would likely do well with slow introductions to resident dogs, especially if the resident dog were on the mellow side. The dog adoption fee is $90. They come spayed/neutered, microchipped, first set of vaccines including DHPP (parvo combo), Bordatella (kennel cough), and Strongid (wormer). Our website updates every hour, but some animals may be adopted faster than we can get them updated online. If you'd like to check on the status of an animal, please call us at 360-352-2510. This is especially important if you are viewing this animal on any site other than Animal Services' website.

Story
Rosie is a 5 year old Pit Mix. She is the goofiest, cuddliest, lickiest pup around. :) Rosie lives with myself, my new husband, my 2 teenage boys and our 6 year old German Shepard- Pit mix, Max. Rosie is an anxious and reactive dog towards dogs outside the home. She needs a firm but loving hand to help support her with these issues. Other than that, Rosie is an amazing dog! She loves to cuddle, bask in the sun and lick your face. She is great with kids and adults once she knows them. Rosie needs to be in a one animal home.

Story
Nola is a three year old American Staffordshire Terrier mix who we rescued three years ago. She is energetic, loving and intelligent. She is wonderful with children but sometimes doesn’t realize her size so take caution with very small children. Nola is spayed and up to date on her shots. Unfortunately, we need to rehome both our dogs due to asthma concerns so are hoping to keep her and her brother Pongo together. Pongo was rescued from Okinawa, Japan 7 years ago. He is super friendly, loyal and intelligent. He loves human interaction and is fantastic with kids. Pongo is NOT neutered but has displayed very little marking in 7 years (I can only remember a handful of times). We very much hope that we can find homes for these two amazing dogs.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Our website has information about our rescue, adoption process and link to our adoption application www.collarofhope.org  We are a foster home based rescue and have no facility to visit. KONA is a great dog, and she's still wondering where her awesome new family is?  She's been in our rescue for over 3 years.  She would love to be your one and only, or she would do well with another dog her size and maybe age.  She would love to go on walks or hang out.  She's a really sweet dog.   KONA arrived very pregnant and gave birth to 8 babies Dec 20, 2019!  She has playful energy, but also loves to lay at your feet.  She listens really well, has shown great house manners, and is a lovable companion.  This is a good thing because she hates being crated and has busted out of them. She loves playing with her foster's dogs.  They are husky/shepherd mixes, and she is even submissive with them. She's also been around small dogs and has been fine with them, but larger dogs are best for this girl if there are dogs in the home.  No cats please. Her new family must be a home owner and have a securely fenced yard, no exceptions.   Prior to adoption, our dogs are spay/neutered, vaccinated including rabies/age appropriate, and parasite treated/prevented as a minimum.  &#226&#128&#139Please visit our website directly to complete an online application. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 22, 2023, 3:04 pm

Great semi energetic snuggly little boy!! Please contact us to submit an application directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com or  https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Exotic/Other Rubble is a 6 mos old  (DOB 8 Feb 2023) 35 lb Boxer/Retriever mix.  He will be a medium to large dog as an adult.  Rubble, his mom and littermates were found running down access road of a highway when they were 5 weeks old.  Everyone in litter and mom died of Distemper (due to owner not giving them shots).  Rubble is the sole survivor.  He will be special needs throughout his life.  He is a very special puppy that has tons of love to give and loves all humans, children, playing with other polite /low energy dogs, playing with toys and visiting with volunteers/staff getting chicken /treats. Did we say he LOVES his humans?  When he plays and does his walk abouts you do not see any affects of distemper.  He is crate trained, walks on a leash and loves car rides.  He will benefit from some continued obediance training and public socialization with new environmental objects.  He will play, then will hang out on the couch or your lap.  He requires an owned home with a securely fenced yard in a colder climate as the hot TX temperature is not conducive to his health.   He is looking for a special needs mixed breed dog experienced family.  He will do best with another dog companion and someone that works from home or caregiver (female) is home.    No apartments.   Courtesay post for the Helotes Humane Society.
