Story
Meet the sweetest Potato! She is highly food motivated and loves to lounge around under her many blankets like a proper potato. She struggles with separation anxiety and can be fear-reactive, but she's not aggressive. She may bark or whine at new people but is curious and warms up quickly - especially when treats are involved. She has never destroyed any furniture or had accidents in the house. She will bark and howl when left alone - this is really important to consider if you have neighbors! She's very smart and responds well to consistent training. She is leash trained and goes for long daily walks to help her anxiety. She may be able to live with other dogs with proper introduction, as she lived with 3 other dogs for many years (until 1 dog started attacking her, provoked my her anxiety). She is not crate trained and being crated amplifies her anxiety. She would thrive in a relaxing environment that isn't loud or chaotic, especially if one or more people work from home.

Story
Meet Mr Bruce. This young man didn't have a home so he went into Lowes to buy some lumber to build a house. Once inside he realized he didn't have truck to haul his lumber, or money to buy it for that matter, so he found a dog loving rescuer to follow around and convinced her to help him with his home situation. At 10 months old this young man knows the way to a woman's heart! He is kind of leash trained and prefers to hold it himself or play tug with you while walking. He uses the doggy door and sits for his meals and treats. He is neutered, up to date on shots and is looking for a warm house and loving family. He has gotten along with the rescue dogs he has met but is a bit too rambunctious for the senior pack so probably no small children either. He absolutely loves to play in the water. He will play invisible too and wait for you so he can pounce! He is mouthy and playful and needs someone with experience to train him. He would be fantastic at agility. He is very eager to learn and please. Please share to get this love a home or apply to adopt him at www.krrtx.org/forms Please note Bruce is in Texas. KRR uses Your Texas Rescue Connection Transport services to get him to you. Adoption fee is $180 and transport is $200 Thank you

Meet Bobo, a resilient sweetheart with a story that proves just how strong a dog’s spirit can be. His journey began on the streets of San Antonio, where he was hit by a car and left to fend for himself. He was brought to the city shelter and placed on the euthanasia list—but Bobo beat the odds twice. He survived the accident, survived the shelter, and now he’s ready to thrive in a loving forever home. Bobo is a loyal, affectionate boy who has been patiently waiting for his chance. He does struggle with some anxiety, but once he settles into a routine, he truly blossoms—consistency, reassurance, and gentle structure help him feel safe and confident. Bobo prefers calm, mellow canine friends. He would also do great as the only pet or in a home with the right, easygoing dog. He does need a cat-free environment. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who’s overcome so much and still has so much love to give, Bobo is ready to meet you. https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/NASD/Dog

Great semi energetic snuggly little boy!! Please contact us to submit an application directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com or  https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Exotic/Other Rubble is a 6 mos old  (DOB 8 Feb 2023) 40 lb Boxer/Retriever mix.  He will be a medium to large dog as an adult.  Rubble, his mom (45 lb) and littermates were found running down access road of a highway when they were 5 weeks old.  Everyone in litter and mom died of Distemper (due to owner not giving them shots).  Rubble is the sole survivor.  He will be special needs throughout his life.  He is a very special puppy that has tons of love to give and loves all humans, children, playing with other polite /low energy dogs, playing with toys and visiting with volunteers/staff getting chicken /treats. Did we say he LOVES his humans?  When he plays and does his walk abouts you do not see any affects of distemper.  He is crate trained, walks on a leash and loves car rides.  He will benefit from some continued obediance training and public socialization with new environmental objects.  He will play, then will hang out on the couch or your lap.  He requires an owned home with a securely fenced yard in a colder climate as the hot TX temperature is not conducive to his health.   He is looking for a special needs mixed breed dog experienced family.  He will do best with another dog companion and someone that works from home or caregiver (female) is home.    No apartments.   Courtesay post for the Helotes Humane Society. L & S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. Story
HI - I'M MILLIE! And I'm truly a miracle dog! I had reportedly been roaming in an empty field in the high desert of California for over a month. When I was finally caught, I had heat stroke, and my temperature was so high that the shelter's thermometer couldn't even read it. But after some tender loving care, I cooled down to a normal temperature. I had fought for my life, and I made a full recovery. I'm truly the perfect dog. I'm sweet, loving and smart. I regularly gave the shelter staff my paws to show them my gratitude. I was pretty well housetrained in the shelter. I love other dogs, even those that jump all over me. I'm a 5-year-old Boxer mix who deserves the very best home. Can you foster or adopt me? I'm currently in California, but can be transported to you in Olympia!
