Story
Booty is friendly and gentle. He has had 4 week board and train at 1 year old. There, he learned basic obedience and confidence around other dogs, cats, and people. He has a heel and off-leash ability. Has had continuous training. Low temperament, patient and gentle around young kids. Booty loves the outdoors. He has been both an inside and outside dog. Loves walks and off-leash sniffing and exploring. Does well with other medium/high energy dogs. He would thrive in an active household with other dogs or adults. He would need a slow reintroduction to cats. Booty is crate, e-collar, slip lead, recall, obedience trained, but training needs to be maintained. He is up to date on all his vaccinations, neutered, microchipped and has no known allergies or any health concerns. Behaves amazing at the vet. Reason for rehoming is personal, can be explained more if messaged.

Story
Jango is a smart, loyal, and affectionate dog. He’s been through basic training, is kennel-trained, and knows many commands. He is very food-motivated, which makes him eager and quick to learn. He thrives on structure and routine, and he absolutely loves being around people, especially kids. He’s also great with other animals (his best friend is a cat), though he can be reactive to dogs on a leash and doesn’t do well in large groups of dogs, as his play style can be a bit intense. Other dogs are not completely off the table for him, just certain situations and certain dogs, like other dominant boys.He has lived with dogs in the past, but hasn't had much dog socialization in the past few years. I think he would do well with a senior dog, or a female dog that is older than him. The leash reactivity is a new behavioral thing, he wasn't always like that. He use to spend a lot of time around other dogs. Overall,Jango is a goofy sweet boy who just wants treats and affection from his person.

Story
We are looking to rehome Kelso to someone preferably with dog training experience and no small children. Kelso is a very sweet boy who needs a lot of love and attention. He is crate trained and knows “sit/stay”, but needs work on resource guarding and walking on leash. He is a huge cuddle bug and loves adult people but has not been doing well with our 1yr old daughter and it has become too hard for us to keep him. He has done good with our other fixed male dog in home, but would probably be happiest being the only pet in a new home. He loves to play and can be jumpy with new people. Although he does gets bursts of energy he is typically found sleeping on the couch.

Story
Hi! My name is Alfred and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by a good Samaritan on August 30, 2026.I weigh 60lbs and am considered a `large breed` dog.I am an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to play with you at home!I am full of energy and I love to play! I tend to calm down more when the people around me stay calm. I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy.I would do best in a home with older children.I am a spirited dog with a fun-loving personality! I am still working on my manners, so I would do best with a family who is willing to work with me and help me become the best dog I can be!Your new pet received a basic physical exam, in addition to routine vaccines, deworming, and topical flea preventative, if indicated. Although your new pet is ready for adoption, there is always a possibility of additional medical conditions that have not been detected or may develop in the future. Current medical conditions are noted below.1) This dog has had otitis (ear infections) in the past and was treated for them here at the shelter with a topical medication. Please do not clean the ears for 2 weeks. There is also a very thickened and scarred Right ear flap also know as a healed or healing aural haematoma. This is where a blood vessel bursts in the ear flap causing a swelling. In this case and commonly, the ear flap will become crinkled or thickened. He has also been prescribed an oral steroid medication to help with any inflammation. Otitis cases often reoccur if the inflammation is not controlled. We recommend following up with your primary veterinarian to recheck the ears as they may need more treatment and to discuss any follow up diagnostics or long term management plan. 2) This dog had a retained testicle and so has two incisions for his neuter procedure. One is in front of the scrotum and the other a midline incision into the abdomen. There aren`t any sutures to remove but we recommend checking the incisions daily to ensure healing as expected. Any concerns should be addressed at that time. Additional care for these conditions may be needed after adoption. Please follow up with your regular veterinarian.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Our website has information about our rescue, adoption process and link to our adoption application www.collarofhope.org  We are a foster home based rescue and have no facility to visit. KONA arrived very pregnant and gave birth to 8 babies Dec 20, 2019!   She is very goofy and has playful energy, but also loves to lay at your feet. She's really a clown as she leaps and pops through the house, even in her older age. She listens really well, has shown great house manners, and is a lovable companion.  This is a good thing because she hates being crated and has busted out of them. She loves playing with her foster's dogs.  They are husky/shepherd mixes, and she is even submissive with them. She's also been around small dogs and has been fine with them, but larger dogs are best for this girl if there are dogs in the home so there's no chance of her running over them.  No cats please. Her new family must be a homeowner and have a securely fenced yard, no exceptions.   Prior to adoption, our dogs are spay/neutered, vaccinated including rabies/age appropriate, and parasite treated/prevented as a minimum.  &#226&#128&#139Please visit our website directly to complete an online application.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 16, 2026, 6:56 pm

Story
Chani is with our Partner Rescue and will come to WA per next transport if she finds a foster and forever home Foster or Adopt Chani 💜🐾 Meet Chani, a sweet and playful 2-year-old Boxer mix who is ready to find her forever home! She’s been patiently waiting for her dream to come true—and that dream is a loving family to call her own. Chani is wonderful with people and absolutely loves spending time with her favorite humans. Whether it’s going on walks, playing, or just relaxing, she’s happiest by your side. She’s also a big fan of cozy couch time and would gladly join you for movie marathons any day of the week! She does well with most other dogs but can be a bit selective, so slow and thoughtful introductions are important. Separate feeding areas are recommended to help her feel comfortable and secure. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will bring joy, cuddles, and fun into your life, Chani could be the perfect match for you. Help make Chani’s dream come true—foster or adopt 💜🐾
